Its interesting cause if Ulbert maintains his humanity, he'd surgically remove those who abuse their power while leaving the underdogs alone. But if his demon side takes over, everyone and everything would suffer a truly horrible fate.
the main reason I enjoy the books is I play a game and have for years and past three years I have been the only active member in the Guild so it gives me some fun to enjoy if what I would do if It happened to me. But its a story and just enjoyable to read.
An interesting thing and prospect occurred with Ainz being merged with his Game Avatar and that Avatar then being made real in that other World. He's essentially stuck in that Avatar, and if he is able to find his way back to Earth, he could take it over semi easy like. There's really not a whole lot those Corporations would be able to do to stop him. Especially if Ainz combines what he has with Earth Tech. That Technomancery would be unrivaled.
It depends, If humanity of earth somehow creates new tech that completely counters him like any scifi stories and based on the fact that tech in real world can adapt quite fast, especially in war. I think humanity of the earth that he lives in do stand more of a chance than the new world, because at the very least they have more knowledge, power and people. But then again, dystopian future with basically no education and barely any work life balance, it may not be the case.
@@DemiCape With the fact that their version of Earth is filled with 40% or more Harsh Pollution literally Fogging the very Air I doubt there's a higher Human Population than our Earth. Technology wouldn't be that much more advanced than our current level.
All of Momonga's guildies left him their armor and items, so if they were getting taken to the new world they wouldnt have them. still be strong as heck, but it would be funny
To be fair at the start of the story. Ainz was also going to quit because the online game was going to be decommissioned. The game was already on the way out.
Touch me was part of the medium-High class, they could afford the things like fruits and vegetables, and I think they lived in something called Bio Dom's? I think, so it would be like having a kid in a normal world?, idk,
I'm not sure Touch Me was as virtuous in real life as he was in the game, given how beyond hope their Earth was its more likely he was just roleplaying what he wished he could be in real life, after all he had a family to worry about, and risking them over trying to expose some nasty corporate secrets would be a really dangerous move. The darkest outcome of that fiasco I can think of is Touch possibly selling Bellriver down the river due to the danger Bellriver put Touch and his family in by passing on those secrets, forcing Touch to make a really sad choice to sell out his friend to the corpos, fully knowing there would be no going against them. But that might be too tragic, I'd say its more likely Touch just hid the evidence somewhere awaiting his chance.
Imagine if Ainz managed to return to the real world as his player self with the npcs because he had gained such immense power after taking over the new world. And began conquering the old world.
there is so much detail and story to explore in Aizn original world. I doubt we will ever get to know them in Overlord, because if the novel going to end soon, there is not enough time to dive into those story
Ok so I just finished up to season 3 of this show and thus far I've ran into a problem. Does there ever come a time when Nazarick actually run into something/someone that can actually fight back? So far the only person on skeleboys team that actually took a slap was Entoma, and that only happened when she ran into a mage that possessed a spell that specifically counters her. Everyone, literally *E V E R Y O N E* Is just being slaughtered casually and frankly, it's getting boring to watch.
No, there are a few close calls later in the Novels and the Holy Kingdom Movie features a genuine fight between Ainz and other NPCs, but it is not about Ainz winning, it is about the others surviving Ainz.
@@schaargock This is probably not for me then. I hate seeing characters just constantly "Win" with little to no effort. It's like some of those characters you see in mech anime. "I'm a 16 year old schoolboy who's never stepped foot on a battlefield, but now after being in this mobile suit for all of five seconds, I am the God of war and will slaughter the adult, professional soldiers who were fighting long before I was even conceived."
On a way, how OP he is is why I like overlord. I agree with seeing actual stakes where the hero can lose is a nice thing but at the same time, I am so tired of the 16 year old who has never touched the battlefield so me how someway overcomes it with pure heart or some crap. Most of those characters would be dead so fast but plot armour and the story must go on. For Ainz, he spent his leveling arc off screen and now has the best tools over everyone, it makes sense he wins, good writing is what keeps it interesting.
@@SirCanuckelhead while I appreciate that Ainz isn't just a 16 year schoolboy that takes one step into a gundam and instantly becomes the God Of War. It feel like it's gone the other way. The stakes are gone because the moment a member of Nazarick show up, it's a total win. More over, it isn't a hard fought win by the skin of their teeth, but a total overwhelming victory. It would just be nice to see Ainz face off against someone who can punch right back at him.
@@aidanthornton173 What I like about the overwhelmingness of Overlord, is that most stories do not go this far, it is clear how powerful he is and then needing to raise the stakes to find a good fight for him, like I grew up with DBZ, the level they need to raise and hoops to hop thru to have a new bad guy that is a worthy fight. Instead of having to worry about that BS, Overlord gives us a bunch more story, we learn about both sides, we get a ton of character out of someone that just dies. You do not know who lives/dies outside of Ainz' crew, so you get to met and learn, they are the stakes you crave, who can survive Ainz, that is what makes Overlord so good.
Narberal: Humans are more disgusting than bugs.
Entoma: I’m disgusting? 😨😢
NW should be grateful that Ulbert didn't make the trip over.
Its interesting cause if Ulbert maintains his humanity, he'd surgically remove those who abuse their power while leaving the underdogs alone. But if his demon side takes over, everyone and everything would suffer a truly horrible fate.
Narberal: Human’s are all pitiful bugs that deserve to die!
Cocytus: That’s hurtful.
ii thought she always said pigs, not bugs lmoao
Yeah thats life. You play a game vibe with some one sooo much and then one day gone.
To All the bros who helped me in a game CHEERS!🍺
It'll be mind blowing if he did find one of his guild members in the New World...and they're fighting for someone else

"God Slaying Emperor Blade" is the coolest sword name in all of anime History, truly.

This is good extra material to give context. Thanks!
Honestly why would any of them have kids in that dumpster fire of a world they were stuck in
RIGHT???
