If Kurt didn’t die as he got older I believe he would have went into a more acoustic singer songwriter type direction and absolutely would have written a bunch of amazing material. Every song on the unplugged album is a hit. Pretty much every single song he wrote on his real albums were all hits as well.

I agree Alice in chain's unplugged was the best of the unplugged series, Layne Staley's voice is unmatched you got so many bands who came after Layne went on his hiatus who literally owe their whole careers to him and Alice in chains, look at God Smack and Sully there a damn glamorized cover band they took their name from a A.I.C song for Pete's sake. Rotten Apple is so underrated its so amazingly deep. I love Nirvana but A.I.C with Layne Staley or Madseason are my fav bands those songs speak to me.I can relate to Layne on alot of levels granted I never touched heroin but ive seen the damage the needle can do first hand my 5 year old son lost his mom last Xmas, honestly if it wasnt for my current girlfriend I'd probably still be in a dark place and the most beautiful part is we dated 15 years ago and we drifted apart i reached out to see how she was and everything just fell into place it's crazy how life is its beautiful and painful but noone knows what tomorrow will bring.

I dunno. In Jen Trynin's memoirs - she says the Seattle sound instantly struck her generation as universal. It was a genuine grass-roots revolution - a generation finding its voice nationwide - thanks to a few groundbreakers in Seattle.

Kurt and Courtney loved each other, no wait they adored each other so much so they got married and had a baby. Kurt was already on drugs before he met Courtney, she did not ruin that mans life he did that all on his own. In many ways he was self destructive, all we saw was what he was outwardly putting out into the world. No one knows what was going on in that mans head, Courtney has every right to be mentioned when Kurt is mentioned because she is such a huge part of his life. It irritates me when people hate on that woman whose only crime is loving Kurt. It’s like when Yoko was blamed for splitting up the Beatles by taking John Lennon away, no they just loved each other.

Sorry but you are almost completely wrong. After a couple years of researching his case and his life including all the people in it from his family, to the band, friends, other bands, Courtney, the detectives, lawyers, and other people who research the case as well I am firmly confident that she was a poison from the first day she targeted him. Yes Kurt had issues with drugs but he had cleaned up his life for the most part and she was not only a major enabler but in his last months she was actively working against him. Kurt was also going to divorce her which set into motion a horrible and unfortunate series of events that led to his death. Not suicide. But death. Giving details is impossible in a text like this but if you honestly and seriously look deeply into this I’m truly believe you will see things, and in particular, Courtney. 🤙🏻

Especially when forensic science proved he was met with foul play yet SPD intentionally sweep their short coming under the rug for the sake of reputation, fear of controversy and finally to cover up their lack of credibility at the time of 1994, the amount of blood coming from cobains ear indicates with out a shadow of a doubt that his heart was barely if even at all pumping blood which means he was already incapacitated and or dead when the round when off into his jaw and upper skull so weather we ever have damning physical evidence that someone was with kurt at the time of his death is completely immaterial now as we have literally proven this as a complete certainty, it's literally as simple as giving a herion addict herion and but giving them a very unrealistically large "hot shot" ehich means a lethal dose of drugs, however people will choose to not adknowledge this fact, if he had taken one lethal overdose he would have more than likely died with the needle in his arm and definitely wouldn't have even had time to put his drug tools away, indefinitely with two times the lethal dose of herion and that's just hypothetical, he actually had three times the lethal dose of herion in his blood, which means that would have kulled him three times over, this man was 5"7 139 pounds at the time of his death point blank end of story he was done in.
This isn't even covering other obvious red flags at the crime scene the obvious journal entry that had been ripped out and partially forged as a suicide note.

I was a frustrated kid and the 80's thrash was the answer for that and I blamed grunge for, well, whatever I blamed it for (honestly, I can't remember at this moment). As I grew up (now 37) I have learned to appreciate it and perceive it from a whole different perspective. The grunge movement has been so vital to the musical market. Not just as a genre but also the philosophy behind it. I regret not paying more positive attention to it back then, but I guess I had to grow older to be able to understand it and appreciate it.
