I disagree. He was great in Nirvana and I love Nirvana they’re one of my favorite bands but what Dave started with foo fighters and the recovery he made to better himself and use music as a source of healing. That’s the best thing to happen to him.

None of that would have happened probably without his experiences in Nirvana, both the highs and lows, but it helped make Dave the dude he is today, and we love him for that shit.

The Nirvana induction is a gamechanger and brings back so many memories. Great to see a family on stage for the event. My great fortune to see Nirvana (before Dave) as a quartet in Al's Bar downtown LA for the Bleach tour, and several times after, with Dave!
It is paradoxical that the unhappy relationship with his mother is, in part, responsible for Kurt's creative vein. I don't think it's easy, for her, to live with this knowledge.

Didn't realize Grohl and Love were on good terms all the way back in 2014. Good to see tho. Courtney was always a bit of a character but I do think she wound up in a tough situation, while having the public assume and judge her like she had a lot more control and influence over what happened than she ever possibly could have. With respect for Kurt's memory, it's simply a tough truth that nobody is going to save an addict from themselves. They have to be the one to decide to get better. Period. It's a tough disease to truly understand and it makes sense that the people close to him would want to find anything they can to not have to face this truth. This is the truth tho, and the most effective way to deal with an addict, to actually see them get better. Its good to see everyone happy and healthy and getting along here.
That is the reality of the situation, there was nothing anyone could do at that point after trying all they could. No one is going to want to lock up a loved one against their will, if they would even be able to, and especially when its someone like Kurt.
I know she's no saint, but really feel this was the wrong time to boo Courtney, she has a place in the Nirvana story and even Dave and Krist chose to be on stage with her - despite everything.
