Those of u who say just buy a tree u are missing the point here. It’s the feeling u get when u diy something. Cut her some slack she did a great job. Thanks for sharing.
Wow. A few of you saying you don't like it. If you don't care for it, just move on. She worked hard on this tree. Not everyone has to like it. Nothing nice to say... don't say anything at all.
I think people can say their opinions.....I didn't like it ...too much work...but maybe some people dig it ....and for less than $20 ..I appreciate the effort...but I wouldn't necessarily do it
She did ask what the viewers think so I think it's fair for those who don't like it to say such as long as they aren't disrespectful in saying so. Like @Rational Mind, I feel the same. I'd rather buy a 6ft tree for $10 bucks or even $20. 5 below also has larger trees and might have eliminated a few hours of this work and gotten a similar feel to this one possibly.
The amount of work that went into this! You will never forget it, and for the rest of your life you’ll look back and be like “ I totally did that!” Good job’ I love it 💛💛💛
🥰You did an absolutely fantastic job!!!! This tree is perfect for anyone with a small space and or a a small budget. It’s made with love most of all. I’m obsessed with DIY stuff and this video has inspired me to make one too!!! Thank you for sharing !!!
I think the end result is amazing. Yes its DIY and its meant to learn from and use as you want or need. I am glad she shared and i may do something similar ... Great Job :)
Beyond freaking genius! I personally love DIYs and making stuff so this is up my alley. The cool thing about this is I bet it isn't too heavy. One thing I don't like about our main Christmas tree is that is is super heavy I'm always worried about the kids knocking it over & getting hurt. It is on a stand but I let my kids get crazy like jumping off coffee table on in to a pool of pillows or 🤣 or ride tricycles around the house. Great job 👍👍👍 -Megan ❤
Glue Guns & Roses Hi Megan! I watch your videos all the time 😉 and your house sounds like my house- HAHA! It is pretty light except the bucket of rocks lol! But it is nice that I don’t have to worry about the kids getting hurt by it, or I don’t have to worry about them destroying it because it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg....just some blustery finger tips from hot glue. 😂
Wow!!!! You did an amazing job. And it was less than twenty dollars....that's a keeper. With savings like that I can have a tree for every room. Thank you so much for sharing such a great idea.
Another comment if anybody that enjoys doing there own crafts it doesn't matter the time it takes she did a great diy and definitely gave me an idea thank you.
So I just showed my daughter this video, and she's going to try this. As far as another video to decorate the tree.....Heck YES you should. You worked hard on that project, so decorate it it up and finish er off girl. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲👍❤ 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄👍❤
You literally look so tired...I love dedicated crafters... it was super cute when you talked to us at the and, you went from perky and excited, hair and makeup flawless to sitting on your bed tired hair in a bun lookin exhausted... but I could tell you were so proud!! I loved watching this!! I’m definitely subbing 🤩 can’t wait to see more crafts girl!!!!
This is an exceptional concept and it is one we can consider before tossing all those old unlit trees into landfills. Remake them into a new pencil trees or wreaths or swag embellishments or parts to a new centerpiece. Bravo!
I think the tree is absolutely magnificent! If you want something you have to work hard to get it. That is exactly what you did! you had a vision and you went with it! Yours is the best one I've seen so far. I'll be giving my hand a try at it. Thank you for sharing your hard work and perseverance.
Thank you for posting this, I am going tomorrow and getting the trees at Dollar tree and making some different sizes to have all over my house. I would never be able to do it without you and Dollar Tree
So had to make one! We drilled through the stand holder things to connect the poles this way easy tear down and storage for next year. Our trees where white very beautiful finished tree when completed. This was nice for those of us who don't have tons of money to buy one or space for a big tree. Thank you. Finished height 5ft. Not including the log stand we built for it.
Love 💗 Love 💗 LOVE 💕 Going to watch you decorate now. The absolute best part is knowing You yourself created this. And, not to mention the calmness crafting gives a person. Sure you could go out and buy a tree but the feeling of creating overpowers the simplicity of just running to a store and buying one..... Win win...!!!
Thank you for showing your idea here. The tree you made is incredible ! I am really impressed, and it is hard to impress me. Most people's work disappoints me. Too bad it's after Christmas now and I can't get these supplies. I would like to make 2 matching trees like this to put in our front yard actually. We had 2 matching pine trees TWICE, that were real, and the men who mowed hit them with the lawn mower and they died. Fake trees won't die, that's why I'm hoping to make 2 like you showed, and put little fencing around them so lawn mower people don't get near them. : )
Wow it looks fantastic 👌👏🌲 just like from a very high end store! I'm definitely going to try it this year! You're an amazing powerful gal and I'm gratefully that I've found your channel! Thank you for sharing and many blessings for you and your lovely family! 🙏🤗
That’s awesome. No wonder there was such a run on those trees at the dollar couldn’t get my hands on any. I wanted to make a nice new centrepiece for my table this year saw someone idea to use dollar tree little trees. However I ended up using tree garland not the kind you were using for tie off but the other kind. Working out quite well.
Yes I love it. It doesn't take up room like big tree does. And it budget friendly. Girl you gave me a fabulous idea. Cause I am on a budget. And I live in a small apartment. And this will work great. I also want to see you decorate your tree as well. You did an awesome job. Thank you for sharing this tree idea you created. And I am a new subscriber.
Good job! Don't you just love when diys take longer than you expect! Happens to me all the time! BTW hot glue has burned my thumbprint off so my phone doesn't even recognize it when i try to open my phone. So sad what we do to ourselves, all for the satisfaction of a diy! Just found your channel and ive been binge watching! Love the hula hoop wreath! Doing that for next year! Going to subscribe now! Keep those diys comin'!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I’m going to do it and place it in my dining room. I made smaller ones last year for my fourier. I think it was you I got it from. Keep those videos coming. Great job🔥🔥🔥👍🏽🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥👏🏽
I think you did an excellent job on this! I agree that it was a lot of work and all during the video I found myself commenting about the things I would have done, just another DIY'er at heart here! PLEASE upload your decoration video, I would love to see the "dressed tree". Thanks for uploading and I am now going to do a smaller version for my house. I was not going to do one - just moved - money tight but you made me remember I love Christmas and I want a tree! Blessing to you and your family!
Thank you so much for this video. I need this size tree for my place. This is awesome I priced out this tree at the store on sale for 120.00. Thank you for sharing from Ontario Canada here
I love it. You did good. And please decorate it. I would love to see how it turns out. Don't mind the negative comments. You got the satisfaction of doing what you wanted and happy with the out come. I just might try that if my DT has any left. They go fast around here. Thanks for sharing.
I like this idea. We have a fake 6ft tree from Big Lots and I have been trying to find ways to make it taller without having to buy a new tree. This is perfect!
I was skeptical but it looks great. That's an awesome little pencil tree. Great for someone starting out who doesn't have a lot of money to spend but a lot of energy. 30 years ago our first Christmas tree was 12 inches tall. The 2nd year was a cheapo tree for Roses. Super cute project!
I like it. Yes decorate it. I think it would cost alot more now that Dollar Tree items are $1.25. Great tutorial and it gives me ideas on how I might attempt this! Merry Christmas 2023 and a Happy New Year to you!
I bought one of those mini trees at Dollar Tree and it was the very last one at the store by my house, I simply added garland ties from target (which are $3 for 10($2 more expensive at target than dollar tree but they did not have the ties in my store)) and I bought mini ribbons at DT, ornaments at Target , a mini tree skirt at DT and mini lights to put on the tree. I absolutely love it. its my first Christmas since being a mom and i love how its so small (the tree) it’s very intimate i suppose just me the baby and his dad. I definitely prefer small trees over big ones. BTW. Five Below has trees for 5ft that are only 5 dollars :)
I like it, I think I might attempt to make one if my local DT brings those trees this year. One suggestion, you can see the floral foam, you should cover it with either garland or moss and perhaps use a taller pot to hold the tree.
Job well done! It looks fabulous. Less than $20, took all day with lots of blisters from hot glue but hey, that's what we crafters do, right!? I love it!... would love to have seen it with the ribbon you spoke of 😁👍
Brilliant. Love it. Now I need to make one for sure. Was scrolling when I seen this video. Had to watch n subscribe to your channel. Always looking for new DIYs. Have a wonderful week 🌼

She asked for everyone's opinion NOT everyone's "good" opinion. You're one of those people that like to be lied to.
Agree...noone is making you watch this video...just keep scrolling...I would love to see it all decorated
@@jackies_world obviously you're not a Crafter
The end result was what you wanted, a pencil tree. Personally that was way more work than I would attempt for a tree. I admire your perserverance
oldladytoofast thank you! It was definitely a lot of work!
GregoryFamilyVlogs but I have a feeling you won't be making that type of tree again :-) Great work though!!!!
Lol my mom did mine for me I just have to feel it out 🤣🤣
The amount of work that went into this! You will never forget it, and for the rest of your life you’ll look back and be like “ I totally did that!” Good job’ I love it 💛💛💛
This is the perfect size for me, I dont have much room . "Be unique, be yourself" thanks for sharing!!!
i did a 3 ft tree...you can actually put the posts inside eachother and i put a crafting stick inside to hold it up better...
I want to try to make one, what do you mean by "a craft stick?" I want to get supplies to make one! Thank you in advance, I'd love to see yours!? ♡
wood dowels :)

Personally I love it 🥰. Just my opinion..... if you don’t like her tree, don’t say anything. Just keep on scrolling. Great work
I haven't read any comments saying they don't like the tree ! People can give their opinions if they want to ! No one is being rude or mean !
I love to see.your.tree all.fixed.up.with.everything.on it sweetie.God Bless🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Wow..you have patience! I love pencil trees...they fit nicely in a corner..eyeing the silver one at Wally World.
FABULOUS!!!!
So beautiful and expensive looking. Gonna try this, thanks for sharing. Also you could put rope around the basket to use as the base
At 1st I'm thinking... Just get one from the Dollar General or Family Dollar but towards the middle, I'm like Omgosh... She is AWESOME w this tree!!!
Job well done! It looks fabulous. Less than $20, took all day with lots of blisters from hot glue but hey, that's what we crafters do, right!? I love it!... would love to have seen it with the ribbon you spoke of 😁👍
