My a6600 doesn’t go that low for aperture. It stops at 3.5. Is there a setting adjustment I’m missing?

It totally depends on your lens! The lens u are using determines what aperture you can use

You should've said "if you have the same camera" but no amateur can afford that one. Settings are different on cropped sensors, etc.
