Hi.I tried to just setup my ESP8266 hardware but it doesnt respond to my AT commands and neither the light turns on when the source is connected. Please help
Hi Fatima ! First of all check your check your connections. They should be proper and tight, and if you are using the ESP module with a arduino then please make sure that you have removed the micro controller IC and if you have done that too. Then try to run AT commands after removing the GPIO 0 of ESP8266-01 from ground. I hope you this will help you with your problem. For running AT commands connect the Esp8266-01 with Arduino after removing the micro controller IC and the connections should be : Esp Gnd -------- arduino gnd Esp vcc ---------- arduino 3.3v Esp TX ------------ arduino TX Esp RX ------------- arduino Rx Esp rst -------------- arduino RST Esp ch-pd ------ 3.3v Esp GPIO 0 ----------- not connected
@@ShreySharma actually my Arduino has the DIP chip and not SMD so I cant really remove it. I am not programming my ESP8266 so I don't think it would be necessary to remove the chip on the Arduino.
Fatima So if the chip cannot be removed then try to connect the Tx of esp to Rx of Arduino and vice versa and remove the GPIO0 while running AT commands and test again. And RST pin is just used to reset the board it is adviced to connect the RST pin of arduino to the RST pin of esp so if you press the RST button on your arduino then the ESP board will also get a reset signal
I'm getting this error-- Error:Serial port connect failed, please check it.
please suggest what to do.
Thank you for all the videos sir, but what next after it?
how we can use esp8266 in our projects
I'll try to make new videos from now on. 🤗
I configured everything correctly but still getting Waiting MAC
Link expired ho gayi hai. please nayi link share karo
I hv mega328 non-removable chip on UNO. how can i proceed ??
connect the reset pin with ground and then you'll be able to upload the firmware.
Sir, please make some videos on esp12e.
Tx pin Tx me lage ga or Rx pin Rx me lage ga kiya
MARINA ART and CRAFT Haan Connect tx of esp to tx of arduino and rx to rx

And while I just test the AT commands would connecting the reset pin be necessary?
