50kbps sounds like so little today. However, as long as you don't send images, audio or video 50kbps is limitless for controlling remote devices. You could still control hundreds of devices at the same time. The idea is to send as little as possible so that your sensors have insane battery life.
Exactly!
I remember upgrading my internet connection several times before getting to 50kbps.
My knowledge of this is limited to having taken one arduino class 6 years ago. My job requires me to have knowledge of Lora and I’m watching this while hiding in the bathroom trying to understand. This was a clear and insightful guide, thank you so much!
You remind me I hide in the portable at the job site watching a video about EMT pipe bending
You guys are good workers lol
@@SimEon-jt3sr fake it ‘till you make it. I’m still there now.
This is your boss. So you didn't know about LoRa and you pretended to know?
We can't have you continue to work for us.
I should have realized from the 20-minute long potty break you took and we all had to wait.
Great explanation. Looking forward to more such videos and would be happy to see some live working locations.
Useful in forest. A lot of motion sensors are placed to check the movement of the animals and manually it needs to be checked. With the help of it, data can be sent over to the control room even in harsh conditions.
Wonderful job on this! And I was able to learn alot in such a short time. Thank you!
I will be looking forward to contributing to this network, great explanation!! Thank you
This video was extremely helpful to me as a non-engineer. Keep up the good work man!

Very good explanation, very in depth. You’ve earned yourself a new subscriber today. I’m looking forward to your other videos! Well done!!
In my opinion, you should make a video about the practical outdoor performance of LoRa and see if its really exciting in real usage scenario.
In my opinion you should make a video on how to invent click baits and get hits without any actual real content
I finally understand it, thank you
Amazingly lucid explanation. Thank you for such a wonderful video.
Beautiful explanation. Great content hard to find in general
Simple and Smart for non-engineers enthusiasts......Thanks you!

Great explanation. I'm looking forward to seeing more on your LoRa projects. I've just ordered a set of M5Stack Faces with LoRa modules. I want to make devices that will broadcast text messages to each other.
Tell us how it went

...do you have a Radio Controlled Clock yet like dcf77 but on lora module...?...rx ,tx low power, low data, 1 way long range mass timekeeping data over air ,sync seconds via interrupts
I agree with Carlo Grisafi, great video man, i need to do a project with a distance sensor, arduino, lora --> lora raspbery
Thank you for your explanation :)
Great great video to understand LoRa, keep posting bro.
beautiful explanation
Thank you so much for this video...
Very fine and thorough introduction of a great technology when if fits. Thank you!
Gateways look interesting and I look forward to your videos about it. Does one use existing gateways or does one include one as part of one's project? I have a lot of C++ experience and some Arduino as well. I'd like to use Python and GPS modules.
Would you say I am correct in that Python or MicroPython is a good match for a non-critical execution speed project?
I just subscribed after appreciating your thoroughness and wide overview. Now I'll look for details on your site and others.
thanks bro..it is very helpful
good explanation
Very good. Pace was great. Information appropriately concentrated and meaningful. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant, I’m about to host Helium Hotspots and wanted a insight into LoRa and what a great explanation. Thank you 🙏
That’s why I’m here ...know if there’s a plug and play amplifier ?
I'm getting into that, expect videos about helium network starting from this weekend!

Very nice explanation!
Can we use with Arduino for SCADA applications?
Genius!
Thanks for your clear explaination
Great explanation thank you 🙏
As a beginner, this is a good introduction. However, I have a question as such:
What will happen when there are more than 2 IoT devices communicating with the 3rd IoT device at the same time? or the 2nd device starts transmitting while the 1st one is transmitting?
good work thanks for the explain keep going on
Hi. Great and very helpful video. Thanks! I would just like some clarification, please. @5:30 shouldn't LoRa be connected to the mcu and not the sensor (like in the diagram)?
very good job on the explanation! tks!
Good presentation, thanks alot.
