Because of its cost, poor fuel economy, and off-road capabilities I consider this a recreational vehicle. As such, I would not use it as a daily driver. I'll keep my Rav4 hybrid for that. But for camping, mountain & desert driving, or exploring off-road this vehicle would be a blast. As far as buying goes, pay cash or do a large down payment and finance as little as possible.

It is a heap of garbage and, as I've said, Toyota has lost the plot. Plastic fantastic with a price gouging sticker. In well over 30 years, I have owned nothing but Toyota's; from Celica's to Taco's. This 4Runner is Shite, plain and simple. True Toyota owners understand the hate and there are a lot of us.
