Man. Anduin has seen and done so much, suffered so much... I really do feel so awful for him. The burden he bears is not a light one. Top tier voice acting too, my God.
It definitely impacts anduin a LOT. He gets "dominated", mind controlled by Jailer to do things contary to his personality. He tried to stab and kill Paragon, attempted to kill his friends by trying to sever their souls. And while doing ir, he did do it consciously, and doubts himself that after all of that he's afraid that if he calls out, the light won't hear him. And it did apparently.
@@rikisugi8140 that whole domination thing was insane. To have a form of magic that forces someone to do something, wile also having them be completely conscious and aware the whole time... he's GOT to have some serious PTSD issues. I hate how many people are basically calling him a crybaby. Like bro the things he was forced to do literally nearly invalidated all he and everyone else had been fighting for. He's been broken. Shattered. Literally a shell of the man he used to be.
You should watch "The War Within Features Trailer", it's just 2 minutes, but has a little bit of story. Also the "Warcraft's Stupidest Dragon" by Platinum WoW
I can't wait for your next WoW Journey video, I'm really enjoying your reactions to the cinematics. Also, the voice we heard in the trailer of The War Within is the voice of Azeroth, the planet itself. In the Warcraft Universe, there is there things called World Souls. Basically they are the souls of certain planets that upon awakening becomes Titans, like the ones we saw at the end of Legion, who dragged Sargeras away from Azeroth after he stabbed her. Sargeras himself was also a Titan, but a fallen one.
So happy to see y'all get to this, can't wait till you catch up on all that happened in dragonflight so far, cause yeah its just so amazing the differences that have been made.

to be fair, on the 'was Mind Controlled and did some stuff' side , Sylvanas at least has more than a little positioning to say 'yeah. Tell me about it' :P That said, it was early days for her, and knowing all that and seeing what she ended up doing more or less of own choice, she's probably not someone Anduin would appreciate just showing up...
Thanks so much! Glad you are enjoying the WoW content! Will have more coming in the new year as we start back up our journey with dragon flight and more 🙂
Don't know if you guys know this, but the Classic trailers you watched are created by a guy known as Hurricane (and his small team) who started off as hobbyists creating cool videos with art assets from the game + extensive editing. Their work was so beloved by fans and so technically impressive that now Blizzard pays them to make these trailers officially. Probably the reason you liked the Cataclysm trailer is that it's simply the best one they've made so far, on a technical level at least. The best thing about these trailers for WoW players is that they do an amazing job of showcasing iconic events, locations, and scenarios from the era they represent. While WoW is a fun game that can be very beautiful at times, it's not especially cinematic while you're playing it. But when you're immersed, your imagination fills in those blanks. And it's just really cool to see battles like The Lich King fight portrayed so faithfully the way a lot of players remember it literally being, PLUS the gaps we filled with our imagination, all seamlessly and beautifully portrayed onscreen. It's so cool.
Great reaction as always. Looking forward to your Dragonflight cinematics reaction video in the future! Also in case you've forgotten, that giant sword is the same one that Sargera's slammed into Azeroth at the end of the Legion - Antorus raid cinematic.
I'm so glad someone brought up Sylvanas Windrunner lmao. I honestly hope that they bring her around again, and hopefully with this 3 expansion journey, Anduin can find himself again and use his experience to help Sylvanas through her shit. I'll forever ship those two after seeing her and Anduin's cutscenes in Shadowlands.
SAME. They are so similar despite being so different. Anduin could also read her like a book. I could tell she genuinely hated having to force him to submit. She is a fantastic example of someone doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. I understood her motives. I just wish she had seen how badly she was being manipulated sooner than she did.
You guys are the best reactors on youtube! You make an effort to understand the story the best you can, and you understand it pretty danm well. And you can tell you genuinly are interested
Cataclysm was at a time in my life where I was in a great mental state and had a lot of fun with friends. Hit me in the nostalgia feels. The War Within is just an absolutely spectacle. Probably THE best CGI animated scene at this point in time world wide. The emotion conveyed is powerful. Wrath was when I met my current roommates and going on over a decade of friendship with many more decades to come. It's a shame the last few expansions since Legion have been lackluster as my roommates have quit WoW and don't anticipate ever come back. I've hopped back in to give it a chance for The War Within. This latest patch deals with the Night Elves and I have been a big fan of the Night Elves ever since Warcraft III
One detail that I'd like to offer is that the pale undead orc that walked out of the tower is Draenosh. Saurfang's son, raised into undeath. He was one of the bosses.
You guys may or may not be happy to hear this, but every time I'm high stress in finals season writing papers and stressing out of my mind, literally every semester I procrastinate by watching your channel haha
I was waiting for you guys to watch this. The war within trailer was amazing. Given the fact that the voice speaking to them, is Azeroth the final titan yet to be awakened and brought into the universe. Lore fun fact Sargeras a titan corrupted by Fel, knew that if the void lords were ever to corrupt a sleeping world soul. Would create a terrible nightmare. And with that Sargeras went out in to the universe and destroyed all of the sleeping world souls. But never could find Azeroth. Azeroth is claimed to be the most powerful titan of all the titans. Thus he wanted to destroy it for fear of the void lords lay waste to it. At the end of the Legion expansion. Sargeras found Azeroth and tried to kill the sleeping soul. But then the other titans came in and trapped him (and them as well) in another part of the universe. Sooooo 3 expansions later (I’m counting Dragonsflight as well) and that sword is finally getting some recognition
Do you hear the voice of Thrall? Do you know the voice actor for Thrall, Chris Metzen is back? And that Sword is from Antorus Ending in Legion, when Sargeras was pulled out and he stabbed the Azeroth with his sword, and in in-game we can still see it just like this.
We’ve done a journey for World of Warcraft. th-cam.com/play/PLzMaVaJ7UYI3luBfZUeTOgDakb2b6CumN.html&si=3QVPoLG7CkW-6B35 we need to catch up on Dragon Flight though 😅
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames oh awesome! I do see a few missing in game cut scenes from legion, bfa and shadowlands. They help tie it all together. How the sword got there, why and how anduin has become this depressed and scarred Man, etc.
I don't know if you remember but in the Legion finale Sargeras stabbed Azeroth with that sword so basically it means the voice from the deep is Azeroth itself, the last Titan.
1. It's not clear at all why Sargeras did that. 2. It's absolutely not clear that the voice is coming from Azeroth, it's just one possibility. 3. It's not clear what Azeroth even is nor of good or bad for mortals. Seeing how for example old gods (who also hide inside the planet) can easily sould however they like and speak with female voice if they want to, there is a good reason why Thrall says, that he's not sure. Many of the cosmic forces work with deception - even the 'good' ones.
When we first saw the legion cutscene of Sargeras stabbing the planet with his sword, a lot of us assumed it was just a big “f you” moment because he had been defeated, but this cutscene shows he was actually making a last ditch effort to win the war he started: by killing the heart of Azeroth, literally.
Remember, when you saw your Legion-journey :D After we defeated Argus and come home, Sargeras the Fallen Titan stabbed our planet with his giant cosmic sword :D And watch the Dragonflight in-game cinematics collections too ^^
Yeah we need to get back to Dragonflight. Man Legion feels so long ago when we checked those out. Completely forgot the dude stabbed a world with a sword 😝
When Thrall said "I'm not sure, but that sword was aimed at someone." made me face palm. I guess his amnesia hit really hard after shadow lands since he forgot everything about BFA.
The Jailer wasn't even a part of the story when Sylvanas was struck down by Frostmourne and Arthas. And up until they decided to stuff the Jailer IN to the story, Sylvanas had her own agency in all of her decisions. Yes you can definitely say that being brought back from the dead messes you up, but even she says in a cutscene that her choices were hers and that she was not controlled by the Jailer. You clearly see, in the end, she realizes she does not want to serve him and turns against him. That is not mind control.
You should watch(or rewatch) the Legion cinematic with Illidan and Sergaras if you haven't seen it already(or forgot about it)... it explains the Sword...
That sword is The Sword of Sargeras; "A gargantuan weapon "crafted from hatred made manifest" that the titan Sargeras used to impale Azeroth, gravely injuring its world-soul, as the final act of the Burning Crusade, during the Argus Campaign. It struck in central Silithus, decimating the life and settlements in the region, which is now referred to as the Wound. This event damaged the titan spirit at the core of the planet, causing it to start bleeding Azerite all over the world." Pretty nuts huh
T'was the message of Jesus with the woman at the well, your past and present do not define you, but your future does. Thrall has been seen as Green Jesus as he helped take out Deathwing. So was a beatuiful wink on the lore.

The Arthas Saga was closed with Shadowlands back then. Hope your reaction to the lore comes soon. Btw there is an ingame trailer for The War Within with Aleria and Xalatath.
What still boggles my mind is how young the characters are, relatively speaking. Assuming War Within takes place immediately after Dragonflight (Year 40), then Anduin in that trailer is 25-26 years old (born in Year 15). Thrall looks somewhat worn, but he's 40-41 years old (born Year 1); and Jaina, who is like Anduin's aunt, would be about 43-44. Their experiences really have aged them quite a bit.
Dragonflight is coming to an end and it's good that you plan to watch what was released since last time. Also i would suggest watching the world of warcraft opening ceremony where they announced the worldsoul saga. It's on their official channel to give you an ideea about what that is, presented by the creator of the warcraft universe Christ Metzen.

I can't wait until you do more WoW content. ^_^
That sword was stabbed into the planet by a demon in space at the end of the legion expansion. They kind of ignored it since then. Seeing them remember it is a good thing lol
It wasn't ignored at all. There was giant questline around to stabilize it and after that there was simply not much you could do about it. It's a mountain sized sword, what exactly should they do with it beside making sure that the plane doesn't bleed out? The whole "what sword?" BS came from the usual social media shitheads, who need hateful drama to entertain their troll crowd. That's literally how they make their money.
Classic era realms are there for your enjoyment, to experience the game as it was when it first came out =)...you would have to get two gaming pcs though so you could play together.
i noticed that you were really surpriced by the sword. I really recommend you to watch ALL of the legion expansion cinematics if you have allready not watch some of them. :)
We all are pretty sure that Sylvanas´ character is gonna take a "REST" for a while, thats why her sister Alleria is gonna step in next expantion wich is interesting... cuz she has the power of void, yeah we traded "Death" for "Void" but hey lets give her a chance, not all of them are psichos with power... We still have Vereesa (the third sister) in case of emergency 😂
Well I've stopped paying attention to warcraft lore after the lore warcrime that was shadowlands. But I still appreciate these trailers. Taking 2 of the most hurt individuals still alive in the warcraft world and putting them together was a good move. Of course thrall was the one to go bring anduin out of his slump. Guy lost everything/gave it all up, his power, his position and chance at a normal life. Lost a lot of his closest friends and his mentor (needed a cutscene for poor cairne blizzard!). And right off the heels of what was done to anduin, physically enslaved but still fully aware of everything he was forced to do and also lost nearly everything near and dear to him. Maybe they won't botch the story this time since sylvanas isn't there to retcon the entire universe.

My favorite reactors of all time are back at it with another awesome one
Love it ya keep up the good work
Thanks so much 🙂🤗
I can't wait for your next WoW Journey video, I'm really enjoying your reactions to the cinematics.
Oh cool. World Souls 😯
So happy to see y'all get to this, can't wait till you catch up on all that happened in dragonflight so far, cause yeah its just so amazing the differences that have been made.
Give another two months or so for the next paych. 10.2.5 seems to have the DF epilog questlines.
There is more to come after 10.2.5, but they will def have enough for an entire episode already, they last watched at 10.0.5 they got 10.0.7, 10.1.0, 10.1.5, 10.1.7, 10.2 to catch up on first, they will have PLENTY@@Vexkun
We are looking forward to continuing our journey 🙂
to be fair, on the 'was Mind Controlled and did some stuff' side , Sylvanas at least has more than a little positioning to say 'yeah. Tell me about it' :P
That said, it was early days for her, and knowing all that and seeing what she ended up doing more or less of own choice, she's probably not someone Anduin would appreciate just showing up...
I've been binging all your Warcraft stuff. Love it. You always have insightful takes.
We’ve checked out some of Hurricanes vids before! Nice that he got hired by Blizzard for his tremendous work 😀🥳
You guys should really check out a lot of ingame cut scenes
It would really help with your understanding of what’s going on in the big scenes
Great reaction as always. Looking forward to your Dragonflight cinematics reaction video in the future!
Also in case you've forgotten, that giant sword is the same one that Sargera's slammed into Azeroth at the end of the Legion - Antorus raid cinematic.
We totally forgot about that. Shouldn’t have given it’s not everyday a sword gets jammed into a planet haha 🤗
I've absolutely been WAITING for your reaction!
Hope you enjoyed it! 🥳🥳😀
You guys are the best reactors on youtube! You make an effort to understand the story the best you can, and you understand it pretty danm well. And you can tell you genuinly are interested
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the kind words. ☺️🤗
So happy y’all made it back to wow. Also amazed with the knowledge y’all have without even playing the game!
Hopefully things get back on track with WoW as far as bringing players back. Cinematics are always on point 🤩
The clue to whose voice it is, is in the title of the saga.
Nah really?! I had no idea 😂😏
Yes! So glad you're back in Azeroth and cheers! 🍻
Even with all the lackluster, the cinematics like this always end up top notch. Way to go art team
Oh finally, thank you! I missed your Warcraft reactions 😄
Highly recommend the announcement of the war withing at Blizzcon with Chris Metzen, who blew us all away with his presentation.
One detail that I'd like to offer is that the pale undead orc that walked out of the tower is Draenosh. Saurfang's son, raised into undeath. He was one of the bosses.
Thanks for that detail 🙂
You guys may or may not be happy to hear this, but every time I'm high stress in finals season writing papers and stressing out of my mind, literally every semester I procrastinate by watching your channel haha
What an awesome take at the end. Very very useful take. Very useful and informative take.
The trailers after the first one are made by Huricane, he did few fun made trailers, and blizzard asked him to do it officially for them.
Glad to see they are finally coming back to the sword because a sword in a planet is kind of a big deal 😅
Omg when he did that same pose. They should’ve done that super fast flash back and forth of the old wotlk trailer
Do you hear the voice of Thrall?
Do you know the voice actor for Thrall, Chris Metzen is back?
And that Sword is from Antorus Ending in Legion, when Sargeras was pulled out and he stabbed the Azeroth with his sword, and in in-game we can still see it just like this.
you guys will definitely need to check out all of the cutscenes through out the years to see the lead up to this, if you havent already of course
To add to the details in this, you can see the swords reflection in anduins eyes.
I was literally just watching something else about WoW and wondering when you'd react to this :)
I dont play WoW anymore, havent for a long time, but I stil watch every cinematic, and they are always epic
Always deliver 🤩
finally i can see your reactions ive been waiting
you should check out some of the other cinematics from in game of older expansions, that sword in particular is included in the legion ones.
Thank you for reaction! I realy enjoy this blizcon anounce and waiting your reaction)
Anduin is my king, but I so wanted to hug him in the first cinematic!!😢
When we first saw the legion cutscene of Sargeras stabbing the planet with his sword, a lot of us assumed it was just a big “f you” moment because he had been defeated, but this cutscene shows he was actually making a last ditch effort to win the war he started: by killing the heart of Azeroth, literally.
that sword is from Legion expansion, so it is there for three expansions now, no one forgot about it:D
Man I waited so long until you guys made another wow vid! Can’t wait for the rest of dragonflight!
Watch the WoW Antorus Finale/Argus Finale cinematic, it shows the giant sword being put there!
Yayyy! Im so happy to see you react to WoW again! 💖💖
Loved this one, thank you for posting it!
warrior like his father he is fckin fury warrior
You seemed surprised about the sword, you should check out the Legion end cinematic when it was put there!
Remember, when you saw your Legion-journey :D After we defeated Argus and come home, Sargeras the Fallen Titan stabbed our planet with his giant cosmic sword :D
And watch the Dragonflight in-game cinematics collections too ^^
Yeah we need to get back to Dragonflight.
Anduin, too. He spoke directly with Magni about worldsoul shit, but he has no idea who could be calling out from the core of the world?
To Sylvanas defence she too was mind controlled by the Jailer when she was struck my Frostmourn
FINALLY YOU REACTED TO IT :D
You should watch(or rewatch) the Legion cinematic with Illidan and Sergaras if you haven't seen it already(or forgot about it)... it explains the Sword...
HELLO STRANGERS! Ive defintely missed you! Not caught much of yall since the live action HALO playing. Hope life is treating you both well!
That sword is The Sword of Sargeras;
"A gargantuan weapon "crafted from hatred made manifest" that the titan Sargeras used to impale Azeroth, gravely injuring its world-soul, as the final act of the Burning Crusade, during the Argus Campaign. It struck in central Silithus, decimating the life and settlements in the region, which is now referred to as the Wound. This event damaged the titan spirit at the core of the planet, causing it to start bleeding Azerite all over the world."
Pretty nuts huh
Its been a while from U guys but I LOVE this from U :)
If you have the time, check out the Ashbringer story as well. It involves the Lich King
"What sword?" - You both + the WoW Devs for ~5 years :P
3:38 very reminiscent of Arthas in the Wrath of the Lich King cinematic.
T'was the message of Jesus with the woman at the well, your past and present do not define you, but your future does. Thrall has been seen as Green Jesus as he helped take out Deathwing. So was a beatuiful wink on the lore.
WoW is about to get even better, with each patch so much QoL is being added to the game and the next expansion is promising big things that players wanted for years.
Nice! 😎🤟🤩
It's so nice seeing you guys react again. I've moved like 3 times in the year+ since I last watched y'all so I get to have some fun binging your videos. I wish it was my favorite girl Sylvie speaking in the visions but it's not. You said you had more to catch up on so no spoilers but it's definitely not her. Also, it's not a cinematic but could you watch The Worldsoul Saga intro from Blizzcon? I think it would be fun to see if it hypes you guys as more casual observers than players and nostalgia junkies.
I m so excited.. Or happy.. And I love this two ladies and gentlemen.. ❤❤❤.. So entertainment.. U know
no other company can make cinematics like blizzard and i mean no one..the details are amazing
Love the puppy 🥺 its so cute
welcome to world of worcraft again to reaction
Are you two going to do some more WOW Video's again?
I still have the "Complete Story" of Illadan Stormrage and the World of Warcraft Music Videos.
The Hurricane "Fan Made" videos I sent ya a few years ago went well
Here is a list of the WOW Music
th-cam.com/play/PLyN8SP7zBWywLWbOys21kkp_WS02pju1G.html&si=vc9s18df0QDubIch
Yes we will be getting back to WoW. It’s been too long 😅
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames here is the Complete story of Illadan as well... Enjoy
th-cam.com/video/UeooZNl_tDY/w-d-xo.html
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I also have two SpongeBob Video's that have NOTHING to do with World of Warcraft... if you see any similarities that is your fault.

Wasnt lokg afo i first saw this and my first toughts where "damn thrall getting old..."😂 And our boy anduin, when i started playing this game as a little boy who dident understand english, anduin was just a little boy in the game and now.... just look at him! Then i realized "Damn IM getting old!"😂
Cant wait until yall do the dragonflight in game cinematics
I like your WoW Reactions!
The new trailer is just so awesome!
I hope you still react to all the Dragonflight scenes! The story is just mega and also a start to the new Worldsoul Saga.
Yeah would not have thought of Anduin being that young 😯
glad you enjoyed them :)
That sword was aimed at someone....
Azeroth, an old god.
Also yall seen the sword in the legion cinematic
Dragonflight is coming to an end and it's good that you plan to watch what was released since last time. Also i would suggest watching the world of warcraft opening ceremony where they announced the worldsoul saga. It's on their official channel to give you an ideea about what that is, presented by the creator of the warcraft universe Christ Metzen.
You guys need to watch more WoW lore videos. I would LOVE to see you both react to Platinum Wow's goblin lore video. LoL it is just, mwa, chef's kiss. He doesn't just explain the origin of the goblins but also, why WoW lore is the way it is. If nothing else you should at least check it out on your own time. You guys are great. I can't wait until you do more WoW content. ^_^
I am so hyped for "The War Within", and awesome that you two are reacting to it.
c'mon
it's such a sht
FINALLY SWORD OF SARGERAS !!!
Not sure if you guys will read this comment but I would recommend watching "All the lore you NEED to know for the War Within" by Paltinum WoW
GOOD BLOODY JOB GUYS, GOOD BLOODY JOB!
@@miriamweller812 lol fanboy defense force
Classic era realms are there for your enjoyment, to experience the game as it was when it first came out =)...you would have to get two gaming pcs though so you could play together.
Hello are you going to catch up on the cimematic there a lot of them :)
i noticed that you were really surpriced by the sword.
World of TherapyCraft: An HONESTCON Cinematic great parody
The sword would make more sense if you watch the Legion in game cinematics.
edit: Hurricane is incredible animator
Hope you do more of Platinum Wow lore videos
What sword?
I’ve played wow all my life and I’d never seen that cataclysm cinematic wtf.
that sword was trying to kill Azeroth....a female titan that is growing inside the planet's core(who will have the power to destroy the void lords)
you guys shoud take a look at GODS by League of Legends in collaboration with NewJeans, along with the Worlds Finals 2023 opening ceremony! Would love to see you guys react to thse
would have pre paid for the next 3 they announced if they had posted them on the shop 6-7million gold in game (tokens) easy.. my 3 realms of (5 toons each) WOD garrison gold is still serving me well.
