THANK YOU to every single person who helped make this video reached 100,000 views!! It is unbelievable. I uploaded this as a mere fluke hoping a handful of people would see it. Feel free to look at my other content and more Lucy vids and SO MUCH MORE on my channel! You are all great! Be HOPEFUL!
rick nineg You do a great job and It takes a long time to put these together, so I appreciate the effort. I'm a huge I love Lucy Fan and although I know a lot, I always seem to pick up something from your videos. Great job!
You forgot Aaron Spelling. He was in the 1955 episode Tennessee Bound. When they are driving to California and find themselves lost in Bent Fork Tennessee. Hes the guy at the House they stop at that they think is a gas station, and he tells them they are in Bent Fork. If you don't know who Aaron spelling is, you should google him. He was one of the biggest producers in Hollywood in the 90s
While that is Desi, Jr. in the final episode, Lucie Arnaz has said that she watched the episode and verified that she was not actually in it, despite the legend.
I didn't think it could be Lucie Arnaz because she and her brother are just 1 1/2 years apart in age.. the girl that is said to be Lucie looks several years older than little Desi Arnaz, Jr.
+Visual One Studio Correct! I found out after posting video that it was a common myth that girl was Lucie. I made a note in the description. Thanks for watching!
Jack Albertsons also has a cameo in the original “Miracle on 34th Street.” He is one of the US Mail workers who comes up with the idea to deliver all the “Santa Letters” to the courthouse.
Yes.....must be a young guy doing this ......she was big tv star back then.....also played Jethro's mom on Beverly Hillbillies the biggest show on tv back then
Well done! I learned many new things. I Love Lucy is the only sitcom that I can watch over and over and over through the years and STILL laugh out loud. Thank you for making and posting this wonderful video.
Bea Benadaret played opposite Lucille Ball on her radio series, My favorite Husband. She was also the first choice to play Ethel Mertz. But she'd already signed to play Blanche Morton, Gracie's best friend on Burn's And Allen. Had it been during radio days it wouldn't have been a problem. But she couldn't work for both CBS and NBC simaultaneously. She also played Cousin Pearl on The Beverly Hillbillies. The producers liked Bea Benadaret's performance so much, that they wanted to create a television series for her. Then came petticoat Junction.
Bea Benadaret also played Pearl Bodine (Jethro's Mother) on THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and starred on PETTICOAT JUNCTION. Jack Albertson won an Oscar for THE SUBJECT WAS ROSES. And what about Strother Martin? He was in the one where Lucy and Ethal hitched a ride to Miami with Elsa Lancaster.
Rusty Wolfe thank you. I was just about to write most of this. Bea I think is better remembered as having been in The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction. Both among our family favourites...
Aaron Spelling plays the part of the Gas Station attendant in the episode where the Ricardo's and Mertzes drive through Tennessee on their way to a Hollywood. I always thought it pretty cool that a future Hollywood mogul would have a bit part in an episode of I Love Lucy 😊
Lucy originally wanted her to be Ethel and Gale Gordon to be Fred, but Bea was already doing the Burns and Allen Show, and Gale Gordon was doing Our Miss Brooks, even though he made 2 appearances in 1952 as Ricky's boss and then in 1958 on the Lucy Desi Comedy Hour as a Judge.
And don't forget, Edward Everett Horton played the grocer. He was an extremely popular character actor in the 1930's and 40's including Fred Astaire's co-star in "Top Hat"
guilfordcigarman Everyone has been mentioning that he left him out. He knows that he didnt mention him yet. We all know who he was. He was also a closet homosexual too. And so was Rock Hudson.
Mabel Albertson also played mothers of Don Hollinger on That Girl, Howard Sprague on Andy Griffith Show, and Dick Preston on New Dick Van Dyke Show. In addition to playing Sam's mother-in-law on Bewitched, in real life she was Cloris Leachman's mother-in-law.
Thank you so much for your hard work and research. Also your humility when occasionally there's some wrong information. The contribution of others is also of merit! Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bea bernadaret also was considered for the role of granny on the beverly hillbillies but appeared a number of times as aunt perl i dont remember their names but also appearing in i love lucy was the actors that voiced george jetson and judy jetson and barbera pepper who played mrs ziffel on green acres and a very young barbera eden also the actress who would later play the second mrs kravitz on bewitched not to mention producrr william asher of many lucy episodes and bewitched
Yesssir. Bob Carrol Jr. There so many cameos on ILL to even put into one video. I'd like to make a few more of these videos in the future. Thanks for watching!
+rick nineg In one episode, Ricky mentions an act that performed in the club, "Pugh and Carroll," professional contortionists! The real-life Madalyn Pugh and Bob Carroll were the writers. A great in-joke!
Thanks for all the work you do to post these videos. I'm a big ILL fan- quality show from writing, to acting and production. The show is standing the test of time quite well!!
The child Little Ricky in scenes throughout the season on I Love Lucy episodes was a child actor named "Keith Thibodeaux'' After I Love Lucy. Keith was hired to play Johnny Paul, Opie Taylor's best friend.that was a good gig since Andy Griffith was filmed in the back 40 acre lot of DESILU STUDIOS. The same buildings that were used in Andy Griffith Show was used in "Twilight Zone" "The Untouchables.", " Mission: Impossible, "Mannix, "That Girl, and Star Trek. All of the outside scenes on Andy Griffith Show were shot outside on the DesiLu back lot. All the inside shots such as the jail. Andy's house, Thelma Lou's house, Helen Crumps house, the church, school. Floyd's Barber Shop, Miss Ellie's Drug Store, and all the inside shots were filmed at the Desi Lu Sound Stage attached to the back 40 lot. Oh and lest we forget "Gomer Pyle USMC was filmed at the Desi Lu back lot. Desi Arnez was asked why he was shooting all the programs on film?" Desi replied, "I really don't like using the Kinescope method because it's not very clear. I chose to shoot it on film that way the scene could be redone, re-edited. and music edited much easier than the Kinescope. The Kinescope works using a TV monitor with a 35 mm film camera focused on the monitor tube, A monitor tube is like a television set. The scene where Andy and Opie are walking down a dirt road next a lake at the beginning were filmed a the same location M.A.S.H. was filmed.
Desi supposedly agreed to pay the extra cost if the network filmed Lucy, with the proviso that he got to keep the film. Thus was born the re-run and Desilu's fortune
I absolutely LOVE your channel!!! My favorite all time show back in the day and now 1) I love Lucy 2) Gilligan's Island 3) I Dream of Jeanie...way more than that but I'm all about Lucy! Thank you so much for this. I myself have noticed a lot of bloopers from her show but not much more of the others. Keep these videos coming because I could sit and watch them literally all day... I'm new so that's probably what I'll be doing for a while 😆 Thanks!
Yes, and Natalie Schafer, Mrs. Howell from Gilligan's Island, in the charm school episode. Also, Nancy Kulp, Miss Hathaway, Beverly Hillbillies was in one of the episodes where they go to England. I'm sure there are others.
There are some famous producers too. Sheldon Leonard and Harry Ackerman, but I just recently noticed Aaron Spelling listed in the episode where they're lost in Tennessee. He was young and had some crazy hair and accent, unrecognizable.
In the kleptomaniac episode, Joseph Kearns. He was George Wilson in Dennis the Menance. Incidentally, Gale Gordon played George Wilson's brother, John, when Kearns passed away.
These aren't cameos. It is just actors in a supporting role. If the real Dore Schary would have walked by that would be a cameo. If John Wayne would have been standing next to Fred on the ship that would be a cameo.
Thank you. Your narration is great. Your voice is easy and enjoyable to listen to and your personal comments makes me feel like I am listening to a friend who is sharing his love for the subject. Great Job!!!
Thanks so much Larry for your kind words. More content to come. My goal was to make it an enjoyable experience and glad to hear it was for you! Hope you enjoy future content as well!
I attended several of the Lucille Ball Festivals in Jamestown, NY. Lucie Arnaz appeared at a few of them. She was asked about her appearance in the last episode. She told us that she was NOT in that episode.
Love your Lucy bloopers!! Oh the girl in that last episode is not Lucie Jr. Although that is Desi Jr. Just saw an interview with Lucie and she said so herself. Everyone thinks it's her but it's not
You missed the actress (don't know her name off the top of my head) in the episode where a young girl has a crush on Ricky, and the young man who had a crush on Lucy. That young girl is the voice of Judy Jetson. :)
Hey also a fun little tidbit, Edward Everett Horton guest starred in the same episode as Bea Benederet playing the grocer. I am a huge fan of his, I've seen his movies, as he always plays a confused but loveable sidekick. Loved him so much I named my dog after him. Hehe! ❤️
thanks Rick! I Love Lucy!!! It was great to know about the cameos. I never knew and I watch the reruns over and over, especially the last episode with her 2 kids in real life, totally shocked me. Hope you can find more to share!!
So true, she was great on that show and also the early Beverly Hillbillies. The most interesting note is that Bea was seriously considered for the part of Ethel before they cast Viviane Vance.
I Love a lot of the I ♡ Love♡ Lucy episodes Yet I think my Favorite is with The mime.. HARPO... ------------- When HARPO & LUCY get together & act like a Mirror... -------------------
Bea Beaderet was a very popular radio and TV show actress in the 40 and 50, and a personnal friend of Lucille Ball. In fact she was Lucy first choice to play Ethel, but she was unavalaible, playing mrs Morton in the popular "George Burns and Gracie Allen Show". Her most remerbered part is mrs Bradley in Petticoat Junction.
in the movie "Miracle on 34th St." Jack Albertson played the part of the postal worker who came up with the idea of sending all the mail adressed to Santa Clause to the courthouse where Santa was on trial. That idea led to Santa being recognized by a branch of the government thereby letting him go free.
Legend had it that William Frawley and Vivian Vance fought on the set more than Lucy and Desi did as the last years of the show their marriage was on their way out
Just a question. When does just a regular actor playing a role become a 'cameo appearance'? With the exception of Lucie and Desi Jr, and maybe Phil the wife beater Ober, these so called cameos just seem to be examples of an unknown actor who Years later became more well known.
Actually, the actors highlighted in this video were neither cameos nor guest stars. Some were not even credited. Just a small point. Fun video, though.
A cameo can literally appear for such a short amount of time you might not even know there in there. A guest star is a special appearance by someone usually a really big star for a whole episode who tends to be a much of the story or film as the regulars. Funny enough I been asking what qualifies as a cameo. As Bill Cobb's name appears in the credits of James Woods movie I forget the name of but only his 3 words and is of. However the new Beetlejuice film is rumored to give Alec Baldwin a cameo the I assume will be more than few seconds though this seems much different from Cobb's
Wrong. Your #5 is NOT Lucie Arnaz. Lucie never appeared in I Love Lucy, but did appear in the Lucy Show and Here's Lucy. You also missed that the man with the beard on the deck of the Constitution is a cameo by one of the superb iconic writers...Bob Carroll Jr.
Tracy Nance That definitely is NOT Lucie. I'm a huge fan, I had the biggest crush on Desi when I was a teen, got to watch him and Dino Jr. Play tennis, I've seen Lucie perform in a Broadway musical, I know someone whose grandfather had a famous restaurant so she has pics of Lucille and a young Lucie and Desi... I even emailed the pics to Desi's wife, Amy, who was very kind to correspond with me. It was so tragic when Amy died a few years later. She was a lovely woman.
+Dazzling Deb Wow! Me too! Big Lucie fan! Are you positive that the the first girl on the right in the dotted apron standing next to the girl he claimed to be Lucie is NOT Lucie? BTW, Hello fellow fan!
Loved this! It wasn't a cameo role, but Lucy had the great Elsa Lancaster play the woman who drives her and Ethel down to Florida in the episode where everybody thinks everyone else is the female hatchet murderess on the way. I was always surprised that she wasn't credited for that role; she did a great job
Agreed. Very cool catch. Watch for her to be featured in a future episode. Because many of these actors were not credited, these parts fall between cameos and guest appearances.
I don't know if this was mentioned...character actor Alan Jenkins played a cop on 2 episodes. He goes back aways. Bea Benederit played George and Gracie Burns neibor on their show. And she did the voice of Betty Ruble on the Flintstons. And what about Elsa Lanchester...She was in the episode going to Florida. She played the bride of Frankenstein. Eve Ardon did a cameo in the seen at the brown derby.
That's VERY true. They were offered a show after I Love Lucy was on there air. They thought and though and finally, Fred (Bill) said Yes and Ethel (Viv)said absolutely not if her husband would still be Fred.
They didn't like each other because Vivian Vance thought William Frawley was too old to play her husband and he overheard a conversation between her and Lucy with Viv saying that he's old enough to be her father and no one would believe that they were married, which made him mad. After that he started calling her all sorts of nasty things and their dislike for each other began and remained from then on.
All that stuff they write about in the media about celebrities isn't true! It doesn't matter if it's in the tabloid or not all of these stories are garbage! They literally make all that stuff up for publicity and NEWS CONTENT. The elite own and control everything including the movie studios, the media, magazines, television etc.. and they literally control all the actors as well. If they never made up news stories there wouldn't be any media content to feed the Beast's media empire! All these actors are actually pseudonym personas that the movie studios own! They are all lying about who they say they are! It's kind of complicated but not so complicated once you understand what's really going on! The truth is that all of these famous celebrities are being played by an actor! One actor could be playing over a dozen or more other famous celebrities! You see these celebrities are not being truthful about who they really are and their bio's. Most all famous celebrities come from royalty & elite families just like Princess Grace. They own the movie studios and they all have huge families. They are going to make their relatives famous and not some random woman a director met at a cafe like you hear from time to time. If celebrities are playing several other famous people they need to disguise themselves for each persona they play. This is where they use prosthetic disguises and the best makeup artists in the world. Hold on to your shorts, here's where it gets crazy! The actor who plays Lucille Ball also plays Queen Elizabeth. She also plays actress Eve Arare pladen. All of our leaders from all countries are doing this! Our leaders are fake actors! A website called Wellaware1.com exposed this to me almost 4 years ago. Since then I found out that I have a talent of super recognition ability and have been able to match these impostors in our governments. Every single politician is playing other actors, musicians, media people, athletes, business leaders and they are even playing other politicians at the very same time! Our system is rigged and these actors that we know & love are criminals! So, lucy is still alive and so are many of the other celebrities who they say died. When an actor is playing over a dozen other celebrities sooner or later they have to kill them off. So they kill them off in conspiracies like Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Jane Mansfield, JFK, Jim Morrison and countless other celebrities. They are even faking deaths by cancer like Michael Landon, Farrah , Patrick Swayze, John Wayne etc. All Fake! This sounds far fetched but I assure you this is true! The kill these people off and make money off of the stories! So you can believe what you want to believe but they are playing the citizens for fools. www.wellaware1.com/comparison-of-lucille-ball-vs-queen-elizabeth-ii/ Wellaware 1 is who first exposed this. I have also been exposing these frauds for over 3 years now! At first I was shocked but now most of the shock effect has worn off. Now I have been trying to wake others up to this con the elite have played on us all. Even the Pope's& Hitler were actors! Hitler was being played by Walt Disney, Walter Cronkite, Quentin Roosevelt, Albert Einstein and many more. I'm on facebook if you would like to follow me. Most of my matches are in my photo albums. My matches aren't 100% correct but most have solid proof. Most actor use the same family members but they swap spouses in some cases. Lucy & Desi were siblings. Lucy's 2'nd husband is Prince Phillip. facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10211941660994554&set=a.1100890320135.2016933.1162985828&type=3&theater wellaware1.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/queen2.jpg
Barbara Eden, from I Dream Of Jeannie. She's in the episode {when they live in the house}where they go to the country club, and their friends bring their house guest,Dianna. All the wives get mad because the husbands' pay her so much attention, because she is so gorgeous.
Just finished watching I love Lucy and I have to say this show is the base and reference for all popular sitcoms in the 80s 90s ans 2000s. The creativity of the writers, directors and actors is unparalleled. Thank you for this channel and thank you for I love Lucy’s videos. Thank you Rick 😊
Love all the work you have put into your videos. I’m a huge fan of I love Lucy and grew up watching it. It’s the best! I just love the info you give that I never would have known. Thanks again!
I laughed my butt off, you earned a subscriber thank you. I've watched at least 75% of I love Lucy episodes and was only aware of one of the cameos, thank you... the one with the kids is the best of all

Nice upload. Nice to see that I Love Lucy has a younger fan audience. I fell love (pun intended) with the show during reruns on Nick at Night in the 90s when I was a kid. My mom loved it and watched it all the time. Its a treasure.
I loved your Cameo, and was totally surprised. I have many collectible items, and the entire "I Love Lucy " Series . I Love the new statue of her, which I think is a marvelous tribute.
Thanks for your great Channel . Also Bea Benaderet played Jethro's mother in the TV show Beverly Hillibillies . Enjoy your wonderful bloopers and all the information they are awesome. I'm a huge fan of I Love Lucy. Many TV shows have used many of I Love Lucy's show plots with modern day changes. Thanks Again!
I grew up with 'I Love Lucy' and I am A big fan. I enjoyed your video very much. I did not know that Bea Benaderet was the voice of Granny from Sylvester & Tweety cartoons. Thank you.
I love the work you have done on the little extra nougats of the shows. It was my favorite as a child and as a 66 yr old lady it’s still my favorite my second favorite is the original odd couple with Jack and tony.
THANK YOU to every single person who helped make this video reached 100,000 views!! It is unbelievable. I uploaded this as a mere fluke hoping a handful of people would see it. Feel free to look at my other content and more Lucy vids and SO MUCH MORE on my channel! You are all great! Be HOPEFUL!

Yup, absolutely right. Lucie Arnaz was born in 1951 and would have been around 4 years old in 1955. Whereas that girl was clearly over 8/9 years old.
+Visual One Studio Correct! I found out after posting video that it was a common myth that girl was Lucie. I made a note in the description. Thanks for watching!
I wondered about that as soon as I saw the girl because she did not look like Lucie Arnaz. Good to know.
@@visualonestudio Yet, when she was 11, she was playing a 16-year old waitress on the Lucy Show.
Great new way to look at I LOVE LUCY all over again. Thanks!

Jack Albertsons also has a cameo in the original “Miracle on 34th Street.” He is one of the US Mail workers who comes up with the idea to deliver all the “Santa Letters” to the courthouse.
Yeah and I'm surprised he didn't mention him being on Chico and Man too.
Bea Benedert is most well-known for her role on Petticoat Junction as the mom.
Yes.....must be a young guy doing this ......she was big tv star back then.....also played Jethro's mom on Beverly Hillbillies the biggest show on tv back then
And Jack Benny's telephone operator
Also, Gracie's neighbor in the Burns & Allen TV show. She appeared in every episode.
She also voiced Betty Rubble in the flintstones
And Burns and Allen.

had forgotten that Burns and Allen were the same era, i thought they were earlier (according to Wikipedia, 1950-58 vs original I Love Lucy 1951-57)
+leo powers Very true! You should check out more other cameos vid where I cover more cameos
Rusty Wolfe thank you. I was just about to write most of this. Bea I think is better remembered as having been in The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction. Both among our family favourites...

Jack Albertson is also the real life brother of Mabel Albertson, who plays Darren Stevens mother on Bewitched.

But I appreciated the video poster sharing that. I never would have known that was a young Grandpa Joe!
+Visual One Studio Pretty cool to see him young
He played his own brother I "Used Cars" ...funniest film of all time!
How about Barbara Eden's cameo in one of the later episodes set in Connecticut?
"Oh, but yes, I just adore your country club, Ricky, and the music is so dreamy!"
Miguel85NYC I always loved how she said, "Oh, but yes..." to everything. The wives were so jealous. Funny episode.
Barbara was and still is gorgeous at age 85
I actually cover Her and other in my 11 MORE Cameos Video! Take a look!!
Diana. The girls glam themselves up just to outshine Diana.
Lucy was great television back then.I was 10 years old when the show started.thanks for the great memories.
I wonder why they would put little Desi in the episode and not little Lucie.
Thank you so much for your hard work and research. Also your humility when occasionally there's some wrong information. The contribution of others is also of merit! Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO problem! I try to make my channel a welcoming place for all to contribute, learn, and enjoy!!
Fantastic! Thanks again!

Great video. I have seen all the I Love Lucy episodes many times and except for Bea Benaderet, I knew nothing about these cameos. Thanks!
You left out one significant cameo- at 0:41, the man on the ship standing next to Vivian Vance is Robert Carroll, Jr., a longtime writer for Lucy.
Yesssir. Bob Carrol Jr. There so many cameos on ILL to even put into one video. I'd like to make a few more of these videos in the future. Thanks for watching!
To be sure.
+rick nineg In one episode, Ricky mentions an act that performed in the club, "Pugh and Carroll," professional contortionists! The real-life Madalyn Pugh and Bob Carroll were the writers. A great in-joke!

Richard Crenna, who was in plenty of movies. played Trautman on the Rambo movies. He was in an episode where Lucy teaches him how to dance
And Janet Waldo, same episode. Great voice actress, played Judy Jetson, from The Jetsons cartoon show.

+Ron Albertson yes, that is correct! I recently found that out. I updated the video description to match. Thanks for the support! More Lucy coming!
Well done on these! I'm a hardcore Lucy fan but did not know about the first one at all! :)
Thanks so much for the support!
Love your Lucy bloopers!! Oh the girl in that last episode is not Lucie Jr. Although that is Desi Jr. Just saw an interview with Lucie and she said so herself. Everyone thinks it's her but it's not
+Yolanda De La Zerda Correct Yolanda. I clarify that in the video description. I appreciate you watching!
rick nineg OOPS! lol! I hadn't noticed. I look forwrd to more Lucy!
+Yolanda De La Zerda No worries. I found out after I made the video but good looking out. More to come to stay tuned!
I've been watching I Love Lucy all my life and didn't know a couple of these! Thanks for the info. Great job!
Thanks so much for the support Bill! I am a big fan as well. More videos in the making. Stay tuned because one is coming soon!!
You missed the actress (don't know her name off the top of my head) in the episode where a young girl has a crush on Ricky, and the young man who had a crush on Lucy. That young girl is the voice of Judy Jetson. :)
You're talking about janet Waldo and Richard Crenna.
Hey also a fun little tidbit, Edward Everett Horton guest starred in the same episode as Bea Benederet playing the grocer. I am a huge fan of his, I've seen his movies, as he always plays a confused but loveable sidekick. Loved him so much I named my dog after him. Hehe! ❤️
Bea was also the original Betty Rubble and gave the character her signature giggle.
I have a 45 RPM record of Betty Rubble singing "I Flipped For That Guy Barney". It's a fun, rockin' song.
thanks Rick! I Love Lucy!!! It was great to know about the cameos. I never knew and I watch the reruns over and over, especially the last episode with her 2 kids in real life, totally shocked me. Hope you can find more to share!!
+Ann D well thank you for your support Ann!
You fogot to mention that Bea Benadaret also played the owner of The Shady Rest Hotel on Petticoat Junction.
So true, she was great on that show and also the early Beverly Hillbillies. The most interesting note is that Bea was seriously considered for the part of Ethel before they cast Viviane Vance.
She was also Blanche, Burns & Allen's neighbor on their tv show.
I also forgot, she was the voice of Betty Rubble from Seasons 1-4 on The Flintstones.
Isn't it crazy how many voice actors were on ILL?
Remember, this was the very early days of television. A lot of talent at the time were radio voice actors.
Thank you for sharing this video!! Always a big fan of Lucy!!! I love watching shows from the fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties!!!
+Sara Keith :)
I Love a lot of the
I ♡ Love♡ Lucy episodes
Yet I think my Favorite
is with The mime..
HARPO...

When HARPO & LUCY get together & act like a Mirror...

+Karla Roberts Thanks so much for watching!
Another surprise is when the Mertz’ and Ricardos visited Ernie Ford in Tennessee. Aaron Spelling was in that episode.
And you left out one who became huge some years later as Jeanie, Barbara Eden who played Diana at the party the Munsens gave in her honor
That episode is my FAVORITE!
Legend had it that William Frawley and Vivian Vance fought on the set more than Lucy and Desi did as the last years of the show their marriage was on their way out
That was her first TV appearance.
That's not true. But Lucy and Desi were barely talking to each other on set.
Barbara Eden said in one interview that Lucy was great mentor to her and helped her with her acting career.
Thanks so much for this video they r awesome😊 👍
Just a question. When does just a regular actor playing a role become a 'cameo appearance'? With the exception of Lucie and Desi Jr, and maybe Phil the wife beater Ober, these so called cameos just seem to be examples of an unknown actor who Years later became more well known.
Oh Please
Great fun video. Thanks for posting
June Foray was the voice of Granny. Bea Benaderet was the voice of Betty Rubble.
Benaderet played the role from '50-'55; Foray played the role for decades after that
Thank you for this video, I LOVE Lucy but had no idea about these cameos, very cool!!
+Crafty Accountant I am so glad you enjoyed this
Do you know the difference between "cameo" and "guest star?"
+jamantia Your support is very much appreciated!
Well said Jamantia!
It makes you sound ignorant when you misuse the word cameo, and it's sad that you continue to do so.
I love this. My favorite thus far, I think. lol. they're all so good. no idea of Vivian's hubby and the Arnez kids in the episodes. 😊 thanks
Steven Patrick Stone Thank you! That was definitely NOT Lucie.
Lucie Arnaz IS in this episode! She is the girl in the dotted apron, NOT the one standing next to Desi, Jr.!
Tracy Nance Yes, I'm positive. She looked very different.
Loved this! It wasn't a cameo role, but Lucy had the great Elsa Lancaster play the woman who drives her and Ethel down to Florida in the episode where everybody thinks everyone else is the female hatchet murderess on the way. I was always surprised that she wasn't credited for that role; she did a great job
KJ Stewart By the way, that was Elsa Lanchester, NOT Lancaster.
Agreed. Very cool catch. Watch for her to be featured in a future episode. Because many of these actors were not credited, these parts fall between cameos and guest appearances.
I never tire of these I love Lucy shows
Sandy Kelsey but they cut out so many scenes..few people see the original broadcast versions!
I love Lucy is one of my favorite shows. Watching these outtakes of bloopers and cameos makes me chuckle. These are fun to watch.
Great history of early tv. Thank you, Rick. Good work!
+Lena S no problem Lena
I heard Fred and Ethel did NOT like each other in real life
That's VERY true. They were offered a show after I Love Lucy was on there air. They thought and though and finally, Fred (Bill) said Yes and Ethel (Viv)said absolutely not if her husband would still be Fred.
That is true Seth. They were, however, remarkably professional when the job called for it.
Pretty crazy considering they had such great chemistry .

Jack Albertson also pulled his weight alongside Freddie Prinze, (the father of Freddie Prinze Jr.) in the Chico and the Man comedy series on tv.
+PR Morris I recently found out about Chico and the Man having never seen it before. Albertson was great.

Barbara Eden, from I Dream Of Jeannie. She's in the episode {when they live in the house}where they go to the country club, and their friends bring their house guest,Dianna. All the wives get mad because the husbands' pay her so much attention, because she is so gorgeous.
