i'd definitely recommend listening to their albums in chronological order since you can see their growth! they're also known for incorporating an eclectic mix of genres in their albums too so their albums all feel unique imo. other than this album my favourites are a brief inquiry into online relationships and i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet unaware of it

One thing you'll get from the 1975 without a doubt is great guitar grooves!! and yes seeing them live is fantastic! they put on an amazing show. I love this album so much and while their other albums definitely sound different, there's a thread throughout this album that is very much connected to their previous works, besides maybe Notes on a Conditional Form. I think you would really like their albums I Like It When You Sleep and A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.

I love that you said it was joyful during a song about school shootings 🤣 that's the epitome of the 1975, the contrasting lyrics and music. This is their best album, but A Brief Inquiry is my favorite and all of them are really good. Listen to the others! They all build on each other.

Love this! This album was coproduced by jack antonoff of bleachers and incorporates a good bit of their sound! I highly recommend checking out bleachers most recent album since you loved this one! (ESP for all the gorgeous saxophone vibes that’s so jack)
Are you doing more Juice Wrld? If you are I would recommend Death Race for Love. It's his second album and came out 10 months after Goodbye and Good Riddance. It's a long album but it has a lot of good song.

Been a fan of The 1975 since their first album. This is my favorite of theirs, and imo a great one to start with if you're new.

I just went to their concert last month in ATLANTA and it was my first real concert.. it was AMAZING
