Vitamin C and Atherosclerosis (Plaque Buildup in Arteries): What You Should Know! Dr. Mandell

  • In this video, we explore the vital role of vitamin C in combating atherosclerosis, a condition characterized by the buildup of plaque in the arteries that can lead to heart disease and other serious health issues. Research suggests that vitamin C is essential for maintaining the health of blood vessels, as it helps synthesize collagen, a key component of arterial walls. This powerful antioxidant also combats oxidative stress, which contributes to inflammation and the progression of atherosclerosis. By enhancing endothelial function and promoting the repair of damaged blood vessels, vitamin C may aid in the reversal of plaque buildup and improve overall cardiovascular health. Join us as we delve deeper into the science behind vitamin C and discover how this essential nutrient can help protect your heart and reduce the risk of atherosclerosis.

After watching his videos, I came up with smoothie that uses 1 whole lemon (skin and all), 1 whole avocado (peeled), and a good amount of kale, half a spoon of wheatgrass powder., and cold water. Very high in vitamin-c, potassium, and magnesium among other things. It's an incredible relaxant as well. It chills me out far better than ashwaganda, or herbal teas.

More available Vit. C from 'fermented' sauerkraut (which is also high in vitamin K2), than from salt-cured Sauerkraut. Also slow-cooking at low heat (6+ hours with cooling and reheating it several times) will help preserve the 'essential benefits' of Sauerkraut .... as well as promoting much better taste.
If you cant get 'fermented' Sauerkraut, be sure to 'water-wash the salt-brined type' to remove the salt load.

      God works in mysterious ways.
God made everything, but for some of his creations, he let life happen. Just like he gave humans freedom of choice instead of dictating everything.
God made the planet, and made all life on this planet originally, but then also let life live on its own. He made life in a way that it adapts to its environment, in order to thrive in the environment they go to.
God made evolution! He made that happen because it is good. He planned on humans emerging eventually from his primates because he knows everything and thinks multiple steps ahead.
God is always testing one's faith. Doesn't it take a lot more faith for someone to believe in God when overwhelming evidence shows humans evolved from early primate ancestors? It does take more faith. This is the whole point, I believe. It's a big test of faith. But that's also why I eventually accepted that fact. Humans will never stop adapting to our environment, and this process is also evolution.
It was Fate that we become who we are. God is one tricky architect I would say.
