@@SpeedAddictsTV thanks for your response. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. The round part in which the visor is gliding in is part of the peak itself.. there must be a nind of additional screw/part which you have to adf, but so far I couldn't find it in any shop..
@@rudolphpansen8494 You get additional accessories with the helmet. You remove the peak and add those little side plastic thingies and use the same screws. Works flawlessly.
I got mine in the beginning of 2024, comes with ECE 22.06 rating and double D ring. Also on the back it says Explorer Plus Carbon.
Thanks for sharing!
You Yanks must have old stock or something, my brand new LS2 Carbon Explorer is CE 22.06 certified!
LS2 made a rolling change to ECE 22.06.
Hi! Thanks for the video!
If I want to remove the peak and use the helmet without it, what screws do i need to hold the visor in place? Thanks a lot!
The peak is removable. I believe you use the same screws that holds the peak. We have not tested it ourselves.

Can I install a cardo unit on the explorer
I’d like to know too
Of course but it’s not going to be as easy as some helmets. You’ll need to use the glue mount
Can confirm: I have a Cardo Edge mounted on it. But only possible with glue pad, not with the bracket.
@@742vincent all LS2s with the drop down sun visor will need the glue pad
Yes, you can install a Cardo unit on the Explorer.
I want to see how you are closing the visor over goggles 😂
Thanks for watching!
it's not eyewear friendly I found my glasses hard to put on in the helmet and it's putting pressure bad design tbh.
Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching!
I have no problem wearing glasses with this helmet.
