I hated how science just jumped of a clif in this movie it was actually quite funny. When rani jumps into the waterfall, the pressure should immediately just break her bones and then she falls into the water and gets up unharmed, the surface tension would have killed her immediately. Big fan of Vikrant! But Sunny Kaushal's acting in this movie had a distinct quality that sometimes evokes an eerie and unsettling feeling in his scenes, which can be quite compelling. His ability to convey complex emotions and create an atmosphere of discomfort contributes to the depth of his performances. I look forward to seeing him in more movies, as i feel that he has unique approach to acting.

The film’s downfall lies in its story.
In the first half, Kanika and Jayprad provide enough intrigue to engage viewers. The latter half fails to uphold the coherence established earlier, making the story seem too convenient and losing focus of the characters’ arcs.

Honestly, Superman ( atleast the Christopher Reeve version ) does a lot more than just wearing glasses as a disguise - He changes his body language to look more submissive, doesn't speak with as much confidence, wears clothes that are maybe a size too big and changes his hairstyle. There's even a fantastic clip from the first Superman movie where Chris Reeve changes his complete body language so incredibly well in a second as he goes from Clark to Superman, so much so that it goes a long way in putting to rest the concerns of how barebones his disguise is.

Another thing being that in Metropolis, Superman is like a celebrity, people don't know that Superman has a double life. To the people, Superman is just Superman all the time, they have no idea he's leading a double life as Clark Kent, and most people haven't seen both Superman and Clark, so to those who have seen both Superman and Clark closely Clark is just some guy who kinda resembles Superman and nothing more.
Like imagine you have a colleague who resembles let's say SRK, what would you think? That this guy is SRK himself or is this some guy who kinda looks like SRK?

This is a great point. Personality matters and most people don't observe others as minutely. They either dont pay attention or dont want to come off as weird. Most people don't even think as much about someone else in reality. The impractical part isn't that no one noticed. It is that someone did. And that was true even before the internet arrived in our phones and now even more so ppl dont even look up. The only time they MAY notice someone is if they have pictures to compare.

Hey jammy! I just wanted to drop a message saying thank you to you. For the longest time, almost a year or two ago, I had lost all the charm movies have, although I always prefer tv shows as characters are fleshed out more, but this is beside the point. The point is, I lost my tinge of watching movies, especially Bollywood movies, I genuinely thought I was above that, which is so stupid of me to think. I am a avid youtube viewer, stumbled upon your Matlab Kuch Bhi videos, stalked your videos.
Basically, I watched everything. And God, was it riveting.
I started acknowledging good cinema movies again, finished almost everything on otts from the early 2010s planning to cover decades of cinema as time goes by. But most of all, thank you for making me aware of other regional cinema. I was so fucking clueless about how wonderful and enthralling their movies are.
I am trying to binge watch all kannada movies rn, thrillers as they are my favourite genre and people are making such good movies. I go by your recommendation and just finished watching a few more.

It’s concerning how some individuals use sophisticated language to unfairly influence opinions. For instance, a well-crafted Indian film might be harshly criticized without merit, simply because of someone’s preference for Hollywood content. We should recognize the value in Indian films and series for their storytelling and screenplays.
Moreover, it’s hypocritical to overlook logical inconsistencies in many Hollywood films, yet scrutinize every detail in Indian content. Films can be fictional and don't always have to adhere to strict realism-there are other genres for that, like series such as Panchayat.
Ye sab english me likhna padh rha h taaki isko audience padhe to sahi 🥲
    Edit:
A similar scenario occurred with Brahmastra, which was a visual masterpiece. It was an unprecedented achievement in Indian cinema, yet it faced undue criticism. If someone can’t appreciate a film like Brahmastra, they might as well settle for Adipurush, which was far from being a quality production."
