      Serral did more than win blizzcon. He displayed a level of dominance never seen by a non-korean in just about every major event of the year, winning most of them and achieving the triple crown the same year as winning worlds. The Zerg God.

In other words, they are the players of LPL rather than LCK, especially Rookie is so good at Chinese with the Xinjiang accent. Please don't eliminate the hardworking and well play from Jackeylove, Baolan, and Ning ( he got the FMVP!). RNG had 2 gods once, Xiaohu was a god last year, but he changed himself way too much toward a team player that he forgot how to be a hyper carry, if RNG put Xiaohu in a carry position more often, he would still be the 2017 summer Xiaohu who can handle anyone, even Faker. Letme can also carry, but the coach doesn't trust his ability as carry well enough, always put him on tanks instead of carries like Aatrox. If RNG changes their core strategy a little bit, they can easily run over G2.

      Wasn't supposed to be like that, last year Xiaohu was the core of RNG throughout the summer, and Letme played a lot of carry tops as well. They know how to play mid-top-centered meta, but they chose not to because of too much faith in Uzi.

    • @laisensei6984
      @laisensei6984 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same reason for EDG's loss to FNC, Scout was in such a good state to play hyper carries after game 1, but they have to play bot-lane centered strategy and give scout Galio in game 2, both EU teams had elements of luck on their side, and IG showed the true face of both teams when they ran out of luck.

    technically if you think about it, phong vu buffalos may have taken a world champion away from UZI, in G2's and Afreeca's group, there were Phong vu and Flash Wolves, the standings were looking like this 4-2 Afreeca, 3-3 G2, and Flash Wolves 3-2 versus Phong vu 0-5 and if Flash Wolves won they would've made it out of groups, and possibly Flash wolves would've been seeded against RNG, and RNG may could possibly beat iG in a close series like in spring and summer splits, and then steamrolled Fnatic for their title, but since Flash Wolves lost to Phong vu, FW had to play a tie breaker match against G2 in which they lost and for the first time in G2 org's history, they made it out of groups with a different roster with only perkz the returning player. Wildcards are fun to watch at times when they play games where it most matters, Kabum helping C9, ANX making out of groups, Flash Wolves and PNG preventing CLG from making it out of groups. FW also helped with Misfits in 2017, by taken down TSM and making it a tiebreaker match with Misfits and TSM for Misfits advancing to the worlds knockout stage where they had that amazing 5 game series against SKT that inspired A lot of teams and especially Vitality

    Like how everyone keeps talking about IG winning due to having 2 Koreans... Rookie has literally been in China for like 5-6 years and adapts to the LPL play style. Ning, JackeyLove and Baolan all showed up big time for IG as well. They definitely were some of the best at their roles in Worlds. And yes TheShy is Korean and the worlds best toplaner in my opinion, but that doesnt mean you have to discredit the Chinese players on IG. There are a lot of LPL teams with Korean imports, but they havent even made worlds... Look at RNG for example, full chinese Roster, and look at their succes overall. Its gotten pathetic with the "You got 1 or 2 koreans, hence you are still a Korean team"...
