F for the run, in fairness no character outside of maybe louis or someone with a dodge build (miccy engrave marth dodge skill) can take a steel axe into a iron axe at that point so its not particularly just an Alear thing. Its pretty hard to enemy phase more than one enemy without a build for it. Really cool to see you actually learning the mechanics and giving the game a good shot though, keep it up.
I didn't expect the armorslayer to be so incredibly heavy considering the Ridersbane seemed to be quite light. And i also forgot about the +20 avoid from Liberation. With that i probably would have had a good chance of dodging. At the end of the day, while it does seem a bit unfair at first, it was a skill issue. Next run will be the one !
I was wondering what you'd think of Yunaka. Nice to see you like her well enough; I thought you might've been of the "Ugh, she's so cringe, please shut up" persuasion. This isn't high praise, given the cast, but she was the first character I had an actual interest in while playing (and given her popularity, I suppose that's not unique). I liked the whole "character being silly and quirky to hide their edgy past" thing. Is it a unique? No, but I think it's done pretty well. I also can't stand Veyle nor Anna's voice. I refuse to ever use Anna for that reason alone. (Hortensia, on the other hand, I actually _do_ like, but I have a feeling you will not. I was biased against her pre-release, but she grew on me when actually playing. So I'm _curious_ to see your opinion, even though I have a feeling you're going to hate her.) The sole bright side of a reset is that you'll have a bit more knowledge of the 'tools' of the game now. Here's to a stronger fourth run. 🥂
@@Donlot_ So do I but only after I have done a first playthrough tin man. After all, its not like the devs intended for us to actually delete/abandon our save on lord death.Though maybe I will try your method next new game, since it forces mastery to have been achieved after only completed playthrough. I kinda have my doubts that you actually did a true iron man on the absolute first playthrough of every fire emblem game that you have played, but mad respect if true.
@@AstraProc I played fire emblem a lot as a kid and obviously just restarted then. But ever since i got back into fe a few years ago i have been playing with this style. I've started playing like this maybe a year or two before j started the channel.
@@Donlot_ That makes sense. II’ll give your style a try when I finally play fire emblem seven, though I don’t know when I will get around to playing that game. It doesn’t look too interesting.
Hey bro what's up man. If I can tell you one thing dude let me say this, the very first fire Emblem game that I actually played was fire Emblem Awakening. As that was roughly 11 years ago and now that I'm currently 34 I've still been enjoying my bachelor life of gaming and then some you know.
Can't believe it's been 11 years ago since awakening. I must've been like 10 when i got awakening and the 3DS, however i disliked the game a lot having already played other FE games. In any case though, nice to see you enjoy the content!

@@Donlot_ Something to note is Sigurds ridersbane is different from the player one, its lighter and has more might if I remember right
Season 2 came and went, and season 3 brought us Super Clanne and Giga Vander. Onwards to season 4 ahahah
Season 1 also had Super Clanne. I don't think Season 4 will dissapoint
Glad to see you’re enjoying the game as a whole😅 But dang this game is hard - about on par with Conquest Lunatic. Good luck on attempt 4!

Doing a true iron man instead of a tin man (resetting on lord death) is pretty brave for a first playthrough.
Thank you. It's just how i play all my FE games however. Go big or go home.

@@AstraProc FE7 is overhyped by the community. Imo one of the weaker games in the series.
