Thinking about moving to another state? I sat on this same desire for years... until God said move. In this video I share my detailed tips for relocating to another city, adjusting comfortably, and growing faith to overcome your fear- because let’s face it, moving alone can be scary! That's what happened to me, wanted to move to Texas 3yrs ago. My grandmother, mom and aunts saying that's too far, what if something happens etc. I recently told my mom, I have to live my life; you did. I'm going 🙏💪🌻

Ohhhh sis this was so timely. I’ve been praying about relocating since March. And it’ll be my first time leaving and moving to another state. I loved this and appreciate you. Like yourself, I’m single with no kids. It’s just me and Jesus. I was feeling guilty and doubting myself about this decision, because I didnt want to leave friends and family. But now, I’m staying focused on spiritually preparing and financially. Much love girl this was needed.

This video just gave me relief! I’m moving to GA in 2 weeks. I had an aunt who literally just tried to give me fear based beliefs on why now isn’t a good time to move. All my friends and family are proud of me and support my move. My faith in God is beyond strong and I’ve waited patiently for this and it’s definitely the right time 😊

Crab in a barrel mentality. Your aunt saw that you moving is something that she would be too scared to do so therefore she’s trying to hold you back based off of her insecurities. It’s never going to be a “right time” to move. Life will keep happening regardless.
‘What if something happens and you not there.” “Everybody has their own lives. I can visit / go back. At the end of your life when you look back you’re going to have to be satisfied with that!” I needed this sooo much. Thank you

Sometimes people don’t support you because they inadvertently place their own limitations on you. Listen to the Lord and step out on faith. If He brings you to it, he’ll bring you through it. Live your life 🙏🏾
It's scary but if you save your money that will make it less stressful.

It’s so hard but you’re absolutely right!
I moved away in my early 20s after college and ended up living with a friend and his brother so I wasn't totally alone and didn't know anyone but I still had to step out of my comfort zone to meet new people. I will say try to get out and join some sort of community asap(or you'll quickly begin to regret your decision) whether that be a church or exercise group or anything of that nature, putting yourself out there even if you're reserved you'll be surprised how quickly you'll build up a friend base.
You can't really put a price on having your family and your life long friends close to you but that all depends on your situation and your life goals. Sometimes just moving away for a couple years can help you really appreciate where you lived and maybe you'll return (I eventually ended up coming back). When you move you're not locked into staying there for life no shame in moving back to where you grew up.
I did just this, and it was the best move: for me. Now I moved back to my home town, and I’ve been anxious ridden since I’ve been back!

It’s crazy I stumbled on this video. I feel so stagnant in my life. I am a single mom of twins and feel God has placed it in my heart to move. I have no help here in Jacksonville fl from fam and no friends to speak of and Houston has been pressed on me. I do know one person but it’ll just be me and the twins I’ve had no luck with a job I love no church home or ppl to fellowship with and I just want the best for my babies. My lease is up in April and I’m leaving. Prayers for me please.

God has been so good to me. I didn't think I would be moving. In the past week He has done so much for me with out even knowing this was going to happen! been through storm after storm, and Hes finally said this is your breakthrough... its time to across the country!!!! I have a 18 & 19 year old but they are ok with it. I just dont wanna have no regrets. Im almost 40 and I just feel like its my time. God put it in me, and I know everything is in his hands.

@@ByTheShepards Omg i waz thinking about North Carolina because i have family all over but was worried about the weather and hurricanes. I visited in March and it was pretty cool but seems a bit slower down there which is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm also moving alone my daughter is 23 and wants to stay put but now Arizona is on top of my list I've visited twice and love that abundant sunshine 😎. This is a big step because I'm established in Chicago but want to experience new things and places 👍🏼.

A P1193 I did! It was 19 hours, but ended up being longer because I had to sleep. My mom went with me and then flew back to Missouri. Love it here! It’s very different from Missouri though hahah. Hope you love it too!

I needed this so much. Seeing my mom cry the way she did. She had to leave my home when told her. I cried at that. Felt guilty. Wanted to make her pain go away. And started to doubt. So I took it to Jesus. Cried out. And still feel it's time...
I need to run across this video in 4 1/2 months pregnant and wanted to move back in September and a lot happened that stopped me but here it is again and God put it on my heart to leave, and I’ll be packing up leaving at 5 months pregnant

This video was tremendously helpful to me. I am 50 years old and I have been in a toxic relationship for 10 years. I am going to end the relationship but more importantly, I want to fulfill my dream of living on the coast. It’s only two hours away but I will be completely alone for the first time in my life. I typed in relocation videos and you popped up!!! I have been considering relocating to NC for over a year now, but I always change my mind or let my parents talk me out it. I just feel like it will be a good move for my career and plus I am just looking for a fresh start if that makes sense! Im no Christian, but I have to say... I freakin LOVE being a nurse and the opportunities it offers! I'm a vocational nurse and I moved from Los Angeles, California to Arlington, TX. The cost of living is SUPER cheap compared to LA. It's so cheap that I haven't started working yet, but the process to transfer my nursing license to Texas is super fast and easy. I'm looking forward to my job search, as there are SO many jobs available for LVNs here. Congratulations on YOUR move!

It was meant for me to see this video. I've wanted to move out of state since 2018 but I've been standing in my own way, letting fear take over. Leaving my hometown would be the fresh start that I need but my family especially my mom would say otherwise. I'm DEFINITELY moving to another state next year!!

Thank you SO much for this video. It’s amazing to see a black woman who is strong in her faith talk about similar issues I’m experiencing. I just moved to Baltimore, MD. I’m incredibly frazzled and having a rough time adjusting. God definitely put this move on my heart. I also experienced issues with my job and would often cry at work before my move. I loved your video, it's something I really needed to hear. I have lived in Michigan my whole life. Moving is something I have been trying to do since graduating from high school. Now I have 4 and kids, 2 are grown and I am still trying to move. Fear has caused me to miss out on so many opportunities. Now I am about to graduate from college I feel it's time to do it. Great content. It definitely takes true faith in God. Especially for those who don’t have money saved, no friends or family, no job or housing lined up. You just trust and believe that God has it all figured out and he is your parachute when you jump. In your case, it would be easier for you to move or relocate simply because you are a travel nurse. You know where your stream of income will come from, you can pretty much pack up and go anywhere and get a job quick and get paid well. You have backup. Not saying you don’t have faith, I’m just saying it’ll be easier for you because we are human. Its only natural to think of our livelihood. For the class of people who don’t have credentials- no money, no job, no housing-lined up, God is the backup-it takes crazy faith, trust and belief in God that he has it figured out. Especially if he’s the one leading you to do so.

I want to leave my city so badly, I have friends who live in the city that I want to move to, I feel so nervous about it, my life right now isn't a positive thing and I just want to leave and move out and I feel like the city I want to move to is a good place to start the career I want to accomplish in. So I planned once I hit 22, I should be already to leave, and have enough knowledge about where I’m moving to, the types of jobs they have out there, more than enough money that I’ve saved along the way, and enough time to spend with my family before I leave. I think 22 is a good time frame for me to think, research, and ask and just get to know more about where I’m plan on heading off to. This is amazing. I got to the point in your video where you mentioned Genesis 12:1. I have had the exact verse shown to me many times by the Most High God. He is making a way for me and it is working out perfectly. He helped me get my passport and now I'm on to the next step. I'm scared of flying on airplanes and I am trying to leave the country, so I just have to push through and do it when the time comes. Amazing words. I moved by myself on a work transfer. It was not easy being away from my kids but I didnt regret my move at all, however I did end up moving back as the technology wasnt working for my work. I needed to see this video, I watched this video for a reason! I am moving back to Ohio , I lived there for nine years. I have been debating whether to do something like this , wanting to move away to a different state because I feel like my mom really needs me. I need her. Wow this is a great video. My story is very similar to yours but I haven’t been able to make the move only because I don’t want to be selfish. My family gets upset anytime I say I want to move. I feel the need to move in my heart.

Soo inspirational and right at the moment I’m at this point in my life. I just graduated associates. I got declined from my town college which discouraged me. But a college I want to apply just accepted me today but it’s states away. I told my mom and she’s so emotional and I do feel guilty. This video showed in my recommendations a few times already and I finally decided to watch it. I graduate college soon and I truly feel like God is calling me to move up North. My very first job offer was for the exact city he's been showing me, in the middle of a pandemic. I've been praying on it heavily, but the fear is still there. My parents want me to come home after college to save ..... but this video was loud and clear for me. Which is partially comforting, yet made me slightly more afraid. But as you stated, i can do it scared....

Thank you so much for this video. I honestly feel God meant for me to see it and is speaking through you. I moved to America three years ago from South Africa and it was extremely difficult to leave my family behind as well. We have had five deaths in the family since then and it has been heartbreaking to not be able to go to the funerals or knowing I hadn't seen them in a long time before they had passed away. However, I still stand with my choice to leave, because like you said, me being there wouldn't have changed anything other than holding my own life up. And God definitely shows you when it's time to leave. I am now going through a big life change again and am looking to move to another state, however, I am fearful because I will be moving completely alone this time. This video gave me some good recommendations and hope.

Save your money. Enough that doesn't make you feel pressured to find a job right away. Focus on being strong. I'm dealing with the same thing but I feel it's time to leave
