I bit the bullet and got one. Its a really awesome machine. Its almost too easy to use and kinda fun actually. Hated making smokes before. Not a chore anymore!
I have the II machine. Can make a pack, in less than 5 min. Buy fresh tobacco, no additives. Best tasting cig, ever. Dont know why I didnt do this sooner- but I wont buy chemical laden premade, ever again.
Crunched all the numbers. $1.60 a pack. All natural, best ciggs you'll ever have.
Also, we smoke less now that we make our own. Guess its cause the tobacco is nice and moist, fresh and its just a satisfying smoke.
the Powermatic III+ does do 100s, it needs to be the + model
I watched a few videos of the 3 being used and it is way slower than the 2. Just because you can't run the 2 fast doesn't mean others can't. I'll bet there's a few others here who will state that they're faster with the 2 than the 3.
I just posted. Love to have the 3 as I have nerve damage in my writing hand. But until it drops a bit in price or I come into some $$$ the 2 is pretty dang good.
Thanks, I am using a spring/auger-type injector and i get a lot of fall-off burns. Do either of these fix that problem?
I just got my powermatic 3 Plus today(was using the PM 2 prior) and having issues with the hopper. It goes through its cycle but then I get the hopper popping up on the screen. Its happening quite often, every few cigs. I think my tobacco may be too wet or possibly cut too long? I use The Good Stuff tobacco with Golden Harvest tubes. Any ideas? What is the best tobacco for this type of machine?
The Powermatic 3+ has three settings: King, King+, and 100mm. It WILL pack 100’s cigarette tubes on the 100mm setting.
Whats the best machine in your opinion? I have the pm2 but its not working properly anymore, its been 4 yrs.
8+ year user of the Powermatic 2 here. As far as using the 2 to make 100's. Yes you can but it's not simple. And as far as the harshness here is a tip. I take a 100 tube-which has a longer filter-and cut off some of the end. This makes the tobacco a little mellower and depending on how much you cut it these smoke will still be bigger than the kings. if you've got the touch and can make 100's, more power to ya. I smoke menthol and the only 100's I've used are Zen. It's really good but I'm usually too lazy to cut off the ends so I mix some in now and then with my kings. Thanks for the post..
because of the filter the 100's and kings are identical! put them next to each other in front of a light source and take a look!
That's about how long my last one lasted. Definitely paid for itself.
Question when cigs are done putting in the tobacco, is it well packed is it loose cause I have cig machine thats electric and all it makes loose`cigs
My biggest concern is reliability. I just purchased one of these but it hasn't come in the mail yet. I have a powermatic ll and it does the job. I've gotten a few years out of those cleaning them every 6 months or so. How is the reliability and also how easy is it to maintain? Ty for any info you can give on this machine. I'm excited to try it out.

I saw a review Dec 27, 2019 and they say and show a setting for 100mm and kings, I think they did an upgrade on this machine, the readout window looks different also

Once you get the power matic machine adjusted right and refill hopper every 11 to 12 ciggerrettes and refill after that it's about putting tabbacco in and putting tubes on the nozzle that goes into the tube.you don't have to measure and pat it down into the chamber.the power matic three does that for you it's faster once you figure out refill hopper every ten ciggerrettes
The power matic 3 automatically puts the right amount of tabbacco into the tube.Once you get it adjusted right .push the button one time without a tube if completely empty and get the tabbacco flowing but if you completely emptied the tabbacco injection chamber and NOZZLE that goes in tube.So if completely empty.fill up tabbacco hopper close lid and push button one time without tube to get the tabbacco flowing.once you do this pump out 14 cigarette and refill chamber and this time sense it is already primed with tabbacco.roll 15 more.if left it primed with tabbacco already you don't have to reprime the machine til you completely clean all tabbacco out.if you clean it out completely. Always reprime to get the right flow of tabbacco going.without a tube let it spill out onto the tray the machine is on.roll 14 ciggerrete and from then on sense it primed take the tabbacco on the tray that spilled out and put it in the tabbacco hopper on the next refill and pump out 15 ciggerrete until done rolling.you will get 16 ciggerrete if left primed and refill.
Have you times rolling 20? With my powermatic II, I get 20 done in 3minutes flat+ 1:45 cleaning the ends and three quick taps. Every video I've seen, it's slower, just easier(no tamping each one, possibly better consistency, although I've become very good at it).
I disagree, the powermatic 2 is faster once you get going. The powermatic 3 takes over an hour to roll a carton. I can do it on the powermatic 2 in less then 40 mins

On my other powermatic ii, the tiny rubber piece came up missing, couldn't find a replacement anywhere. I used silicon on it, worked like a charm.

How much faster would you say this machine makes cigarettes? If I make a carton at a time, how much time do you think it’ll take with this machine?
Powermatic II takes me nearly an hour
I could do 2 carton in an hour with the powermatic 3 with short cut tabbacco.
Or a 100 mm,tube.
Where did you get yours? I cannot find one anywhere!

I will stay with my Powermatic II since less moving parts . i like my Powermatic II but don't like they don't make repair parts if breaks so with Powermatic III Automatic Cigarette if it breaks it a big investment to loose

If you refill every 11 or twelve ciggerrete it never runs out of tabbacco.alls you do is put a tube on push button and keep the tabbacco flowing and the tubes flowing. Refill tabbacco hopper every 11 to twelve ciggerrete and their isn't a faster machine once adjusted right.never try to go to 15 without refilling the hopper before it get to 15
It's the Powermatic 1 that's hard to get. You know, In case the power goes out. This aside, I see no advantage to the Powermatic 3 unless you're too lazy to pull a lever.

@@AdamPundsack I can't believe it! We have a place here where we buy cig. tobacco by the ounce. They sell it out of 5 gal. Buckets. We've tried smoking the packaged pipe tobacco, and it's very strong, and hurts our throat.
