    I've had my machine for 4 years, and it's still going strong. Don't even know what a pack of cigarettes costs anymore, but my mind is blown seeing what others are paying for a carton. 1 pound of tobacco will make 2 cartons plus 2-4 packs. Cost of tobacco is $14. Tubes (250 a pack) is $4, so for $22, I can make 22-24 packs with tubes left over. Another thing I noticed is my smokers cough went away. Probably because loose tobacco is a lot cleaner than what those brand cigarettes have in them.

    Great follow up, Gloria, thank you so much! I live in NY and cigs cost $13 a pack, about $130 a carton. This machine will pay for itself in just a few weeks. I will try and post my own review in a few weeks once I really get the hang of it. I’m still figuring out tobacco and tube combinations, there’s so many!

      Steve, ask them at the cigarette shop. That’s the only way I knew what to buy. Thank you for the compliment on my follow up. I use to drive a tour bus in NYC. I never purchased cigarettes there way to expensive.

      Cigarettes here are atleast $10. a pack so I now roll them. For 2 large bags of tobacco and 6 boxes of filters its around $60. So that works for us. 😃

    Thanks for the demonstration! That is really fast! It takes me about 8 hours to roll a carton of cigarettes with the tops hand roller machine I have now and I just don't have the time to put 1 day every other week into rolling cigarettes.

    • @gloriouscrafts
      @gloriouscrafts  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is super fast, I roll the entire large bag of tobacco in about 3 hours. I then refrigerate them. Its a great machine. Just difficult to return in Pa because it was used for tobacco. I ordered another one because it does a great job! If you get one please let me know what you think.

    I've been hand cranking a topomatic over 10 years now & after seeing this I'll be getting one for my mom. I figure $200 for the machine & 3 boxes of tubes $15 & 1 16oz bag of American Club Pipe tobacco at $15. So $30-$40 for 3 cartons of cigs. $80 a carton of Marlboro Reds 100's. So 3 cartons of Marlboro's in 3 weeks would cover the cost of this & I won't be having to handcrank out cigs anymore.
    in 4 months that machine has made 782 packs or 78 cartons. Yeah Finally something I actually feel good in investing in.
    Thanks for sharing this.

      The best investment I have ever made! I had a hand crank machine and it was the worst, I also purchased cheap electric ones before purchasing this machine and the lights of the cigarettes would fall off. Please let me know how you like it. I believe if you buy it from Amazon you can return it if you are not satisfied. Cigarettes are way to much money. Good luck and let me know what you think.

    I invested in this machine and like it a lot. I would make a recommendation to add a small guiding LED light by the tube insertion point which is lower on the device. Most people will place this in or on a tray , mine is higher than most at 2-3" which creates some depth and shadow but still .. especially if I'm using it in dim lighting , the brightness of the LED screen on top blinds me to the tube insertion point. I'd recommend lowering the brightness of the top screen and adding a small light to illuminate where you put the tube especially because it has to be on there precisely to work.
    I know you're not the manufacturer but if you sell them maybe you can feed this back to them

    Can you use tobacco right out of a new package or do you need to dry it out some first? Also, would you say the tobacco you use is long-cut or short-cut? I generally use Good Stuff and Cherokee brands. I'd consider them medium cut I suppose but leaning more toward a longer cut. I'm already tired of hand-cranking (4 mos.) my cigarettes and want to buy one of these. Good video and thanks for the demonstration.

    • @gloriouscrafts
      @gloriouscrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the tobacco right out of the bag, I have never dried it out. I use pipe tobacco that’s all they sell at the store around the corner from my house. I honestly am not a fan of the hand crank, I don’t like how they turn out. If you do get one of these please watch the video about returning it with a warranty because I couldn’t return it through the mail because it contained tobacco. I live in Pa your state might have different laws. Thank you so much for the compliment and thank you for watching my video. Have a great day.

    • @gloriouscrafts
      @gloriouscrafts  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I sometimes find them and break them up. Unfortunately there are times when I have them in my cigarettes while I’m smoking them. Do you sift through your tobacco before you use it? Maybe I should try that.

    Hello, what brand of tobacco do you use and do you always use this brand? Also, do you always keep the density level on the top larger bar? The reason I ask is because the machine I bought only made 150 cigs before it stopped working and I had to send it in to be repaired and your machine seems to work perfect every time.

      I use Criss Cross pipe tabacco, it’s the only kind they have at the cigarette shop around the corner from my house. I got this machine from Amazon and I highly recommend you get the warranty. I am going to be doing another update on this machine as soon as I get my new one. This one only lasted 8 months. So keep an eye out for my next update because I will explain what happened. I just figured I had my response since I've had this machine for a while. Had a different machine before that you had to put the tobacco in each time.. I have found that different tubes in different tobacco react different to the stuffer.. also when the tobacco gets dry you have to adjust the density... I personally use the 0hm brand tobacco... And I won't tell you the tubes I use because they're too hard to find......lol... When I was figuring this out I pretty much went and seen what they sold the most of...

    I have a pm2, and just received pm3 today. I’ve had my pm2 for 3 years with no problems. My question is, is there a break-in period for the pm3? Your machine made 26 before mine made 10. It seems to run at less than half the speed yours is in the video… is it just a slow unit?
    And now, after every couple of cigarettes, it says hopper. I clean out the hopper, put back the tobacco that was there, run it until hopper clears of, and then it will say hopper again. At least 3 times in a row. Had this less than an hour, and already wanting to send it back

    • @gloriouscrafts
      @gloriouscrafts  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There was no break-in period with my machine. It worked get, till it didn’t. I bought another one and it is the worst! Tabacco falls out of the cigarettes no matter what size I try to make. Maybe just horrible craftsmanship. My suggestion is to send it back. They should do better making these products especially since it’s hard to return them. Let me know how it goes. Sorry for your experience.

      My guess is that you are using long cut tobacco and it is having a hard time feeding into the bottom. I use OHM Silver tobacco and have to shred it up a bit with a small blender to get it to feed without problems. I chop it up to the same consistency as the tobacco in store bought cigs.
