Love these videos! Keep 'em coming! Got any links for parts?
None in particular. eBay if you don’t want wait forever and AliExpress if you want it cheaper but don’t mind waiting.
PLCC2 LEDs
3mm LED
If doing it in white and your light switch is also made of a yellow plastic, rosco 3202 gel
@@CroVlado0510 do you use 12v leds or less?
@@georgimilev6786 these LEDs are 3V. Same as the ones that come out of the car just different colors. I believe all plcc2 LEDs are 3V.
so ive had all the lights in my e46 converted to blue for like 3 years now well all of them but my head light switch... that damn fog light switch
i also changed everything except fog light switch haha
Man i have one question. Have you tried to change small bulb in the front and back ashtray and also on the roof where the light thing is? I dont know what bulb to use
Is it possible to put the diffuser foil directly on the led?
I’m sure it’s possible. I didn’t try it that way tho. Sorry I can’t help on that. Not sure if the light diffusion will be the same. Give it a try. Let me know. May be the easier way.
@@CroVlado0510 Thanks for the fast answer. I ordered everything and will start with the tachometer. I will let you know how it worked out.
@@fenerbahce2 Hey, I know it is a year later, but did it work? Diffuser over the original led?
It wouldn’t work over the original orange LED; you would still have to change to white and then diffuse it over with blue-ish color so the more yellow color of the face would come out white.
@@CroVlado0510 I see. By the way, since you're here. Have you ever made this into a business aka do it for us (the ones that lack the skills, haha)? Do you take this service inquiries?
