If I was to create a sequel I would have Abby and Harper's relationship end (tragic ik) and Abby seeks comfort and falls in love with Riley (what we all wanted ik) and John would have finally found that puzzle piece AND got himself a fish😂

Honestly I think that’s the point.
I think it'd be hilarious if David was just incorporated into every movie Dan Levy is in. No name changes. Just a bunch of confusing crossovers that no one questions.
Dan Levy can only act like himself, and that all I want to see anyways.

Harper's family ignored these things. They didn't notice because they wanted to believe Abby and Harper were straight because they were homophobic (apart from Jane who wasn't homophobic).
