this is the first christmas movie that i’ve ever felt an emotional connection to while watching and i recommend for everyone to watch it. it’s unlike anything else out there, there’s some rough patches but in the end it’s so worth it.

Lied to her couple, denied her in from of everyone, make her spent an awful time throught the whole movie and at the end stayed with her... a lilbit toxic.
there's a big difference between toxicity and their relationship going through a rough patch while she was surrounded by people that reverted her back to the person she used to be in hs, who i might add was still closeted. if you think that's how harper is all the time then you weren't paying attention the movie
@@shadesofcolor5968 It shows character... first of all, she lied to her, even knowing how her family is and how they think, she wouldn't expose the person she loves to that, I have enough experience to identify red flags, but this is after all just a movie and the focus is not on reality but in the message like everything nowadays.
