Is it just me or was this Kirstens best acting? She was totally relaxed,not awkward. The role and the genre seemed to suit her much more than the things shes done over the years.Not to discredit her other works,especially the more dramatic roles shes portrayed. The writing/plot was terrible, but RILEY's character saved it for me. True MVP :D She is smart, kind, funny, sexy, outgoing, basically the dream woman ;) How could Abby resist that and let herself be treated like crap is beyond me...

(Me being Kristen's character) I went to AUSTRIA to meet my online gf of 3 years and the whole time I was there, she was introducing me to her family as her American friend and I even proposed to her while I was there and she said yes but when I got back to America, she broke up with me and said she was still trying to figure out her sexuality. 😅😅😅 So this "terrible plot" you are talking about actually happens irl. And probably a lot more than it should

BEST part of this movie. This movie ENRAGES me! HARPER has no repercussions for being a twat for her ENTIRE ADULT LIFE! Everyone just gives her a pass at the end and she gets everything she wanted. It's INSANE! It's like a lesbian version of Caillou.
You have no empathy, she was weak and scared of disappointing parents for a reason, she was raised as people pleaser, she was fine gf and didn’t hide rs when she felt “safe”, before going back to toxic environment, where she had to go back to playing “perfect daughter” to be “conditionally” loved by her family jfc She looked so desperate and pathetic in the end i felt really bad for her.
@Dosmthnew I have plenty of empathy. Being afraid of disappointment does not get someone a pass to be a terrible human being. Being afraid of disappointment sure break it off with Aubrey's character on highschool... Not make a campaign against her with your friends and not stick up for her when people start rumours about her. Being afraid of disappointment doesn't mean you get to lie to everyone in your life and expect them to forgive you, which she did. It doesn't mean inviting your partner back to that place and then bombing her in the car with "oh yeah never told them, they don't know I'm gay and you have to play along this whole trip." And then gaslighting said partner while playing into some heteronormative performance and saying you can't help it when you're literally the only person who can. I can't empathize with Harper because she's a raging narcissist who manipulates, gaslights, and plays victim to get out of repercussions. However we all know these people and the reason this show enrages me is because like reality they get to move through life unabated while everyone around them has to pick up the pieces like a natural disaster just rolled through. She was not a fine girlfriend either. Saying that is missing half the plot of this movie. If you think a fine gf is gaslighting and lying, ignoring the other partners very valid complaints in order to take the easy less conflict route. Not to mention literally being ashamed of their actions when others are present. That is not how you treat a partner. Harper had unresolved childhood trauma sure... That does not make her a good character, a good person, or a good partner.
