What a truly impactful video with some brave individuals willing to share their story. Sheds light on the fact that addiction can affect anyone and everyone
Yes, just saw this video. It's magnificent and so true. Addiction is a lot about denial of reality. Some family members have similar issues, it's a family, a systemic disease. In my case It ended in divorce, I'm sober for a time I couldn't imagine and I don't want to change it. The rest of the family is still in struggle with themselves and in denial. It's sad, that they still don't have the courage of desperation, they did not hit rock bottom yet. Some will never do it before they die. What's the pertinent idea b)? “That probably no human power could have relieved our alcoholism.” I can't do it either.
Absolutely brilliant - Well done everyone. So proud to be in recovery, and part of this amazing community of people using their stories to help others #werecoverloudly

Peace be with everyone as your journeys move forward; thank you for sharing. Living with someone you love with an addiction is difficult.
A truly powerful documentary, told in a sensitive and stylised form. Revealing. Harrowing. A masterpiece in storytelling.
