Thank you, it works. On my 1st try, it was unsuccessful. Half way through the process, it promoted that my batt was low. I had to removed and charged my phone to 85% and repeat the whole sequence again. Finally, it was successful. Great that you inform us abt the Google Acct that was used in the phone, with that I was able to setup the phone. Thanks again.
I tried to follow those steps, but, when I tried to connect the phone (XZ1) holding wolume down button it doesn't connects succesfully, there is the green notification light that is repeating on and on, please help!
Unfortunatly it doesn't work if you never connected the phone to the computer before while it was unlocked... I just bough one on ebay and the phone is locked, I wanted to try this method to reset it.... I will wait for the seller response I guess
