What I've learned from somehow ending up at maining Dhalsim is that you have to force the opponent to follow your pace. Make them second-guess doing anything. Make them fear jumping. You never want to be anywhere near the corner - on _either_ side! Because it's just one wrong guess and you'll be thrown into the worst possible spot. 'Sim can't warp out fast enough in a lot of situations, and you're probably gonna get hit if you try, even if you get some hits in prior to popping it. I'm not a good player at all, but I'm in mid-Silver so far with Dhalsim, slowly creepin' my way up 'cause no one ever fights 'Sim so no one knows what not to do against him. That'll change eventually, but for now I'm enjoying a good third of my damage being from Yoga Bitchslap.

That wasn't doing is so I tried messing around with Ryu until eventually I was like "👀 Let's try Sim" and man he's so much fun. The thing is he has so many tools and it's easy to get in the habit of not making the most of all of them. Knowing your range and what hits where is by far the hardest thing to get used to so that's where I'm at with learning him.

Dhalsim is insanely fun in this game man lol The range of where he hits with his limbs & certain fireballs was just a bit of getting used to. But once you get it down it’s fun beating them down from whatever range you want. And tricking them with the teleports & floats is insanely fun.

Yoga float - MP - OD Yoga comet - Teleport behind - MK - Back MK - EX Yoga Flame - MP Yoga Inferno Also Sim can have two fireballs in different angles on screen. Yoga comet + whichever Yoga fireball from the ground you want to do. The drills are very safe on block at the right angles and on hit they combo to standing jab which leads to drive rush combos and pressure. He has three reliable antiairs at different angles cancellable into fireballs or teleport. He can zone just fine and pressure as well. But he is hard to play. I admit. He is very underrated.

Sim is such a cool character. Annoying as all hell to play against. I love his parry animation, the yoga bitch slap, his supers look dope AF. Music and his stage too.
He has probably the second best anti airs in the game, which is medium punch and back heavy kick. He also has the best slide in the game that notifies drive rushes. With these two weapons sim is unstoppable.

Sim is a challenging character, I just got him to Silver Rank 😂 he's my main ima get him ranked to master eventually but I'm honestly waiting for Akuma next Summer my other favirote character lol😅, his combo trials are challenging but he has sneaky and good moves In my opinion

Sometimes mid combo the opponents body drops super fast and it drops my combo also. I’m not burnt out and it’s not a corner only combo. I don’t know if it’s network or part of the game I don’t know about.
At 1:34 you said the crouching jab wont combo after the standing jab because the standing jab is 4 frames plus on hit and the crouching jab is 5 frame startup but it does link as a combo.
Idk why he isn’t using that one normal that’s a solid anti air, Dhalsim throws out two fists in an upward diagonal. I’ve seen plenty of people use it, it’s annoying asf.

If you can master the corkscrew (hit the ankles), the throw/combo mix-up is fun.

It's kinda risky to use. Back mp is generally the go to for anti jump in and full screen is more versatile with HK.
