Maidens music is pure perfection, it takes so much effort and practice I'd imagine for this symphony to coordinate everyone's timing and everyone's structure and parts, such great talents.
I believe Bruce Dickinson has expressed interest in maiden doing something like this, let's hope he's watching what a great event that would be you guys with maiden.

i honestly wasnt sure what to think when i clicked in. ive heard many do this kind of thing and ... generally not so well. but this... expectatons blown away. THIS is what symphic rock was always ment to be. complex elements intervoven with perfection. the band and choir were the real selling points that made it something extremely special imo. i would dearly love to hear more.
To get that kind of clarity on strings at that fast a speed... from so many players at once. the skill on display here is breathitaking. This is increcible.
I remember watching when the Metallica medley was posted three years ago - your work just keeps getting better and better. This stuff is amazing, it's thrilling to see music this familiar and classic being reimagined in such a great way. Don't stop for anything.

Must have watched this once a week for that last year and it still amazes me that you can barely hear the guitar over everything, that makes it all the better, as the orchestra and choir (and guitarist) are all on point.
I didn't realised that it changed from Hallowed be thy name to Aces high. I was like "Since when does this song sound like Aces High?" And only a few seconds after I realised🤦 I think the mix of the different styles is amazing and it sounds great! Also I think last time Iron Maiden you didn't have a choir, it sounded nice!

This is amazing, however, there's a slight detail that I don´t like: Playing a Maiden song in the Bass using a pick? You have to get those fingers moving! pick = lazy xD

Honestly I'm more bothered by the bassist and guitarist running around like rock stars. It's distracting. As far as the bass player's pick technique, in this case I'd let it be as the bass isn't holding down the bottom end by itself like Mr. Harris does. Here it blends in with the orchestra well. Plus it's a Fender P-Bass like Mr. Harris uses. Sounded great to me.
Sterling Crockett I totally agree with you, the bass sounds great, but it's just that slight detail. However, I think that the guitarist and bassist running around gives it a different feel, because it's not normal
@@joaopaixao5499 Not in a symphonic performance, that's for sure. It's a great performance all the same. Before the joints in my hands got to the point I could no longer play, I used my fingers to pluck the flatwound strings. Sounded much better that way IMO, though I was never much good.

This is amazing, however, there's a slight detail that I don´t like: Playing a Maiden song in the Bass using a pick? You have to get those fingers moving! pick = lazy xD

Honestly I'm more bothered by the bassist and guitarist running around like rock stars. It's distracting. As far as the bass player's pick technique, in this case I'd let it be as the bass isn't holding down the bottom end by itself like Mr. Harris does. Here it blends in with the orchestra well. Plus it's a Fender P-Bass like Mr. Harris uses. Sounded great to me.
Sterling Crockett I totally agree with you, the bass sounds great, but it's just that slight detail. However, I think that the guitarist and bassist running around gives it a different feel, because it's not normal
@@joaopaixao5499 Not in a symphonic performance, that's for sure. It's a great performance all the same. Before the joints in my hands got to the point I could no longer play, I used my fingers to pluck the flatwound strings. Sounded much better that way IMO, though I was never much good.
