I've been a fan of NICKO'S since I was 14 , listened to thousands of his interviews, been to dozens of his drum clinics in the UK etc etc, and one thing I know for sure is how much it's hurting him inside to not be able to perform the drum fill at the beginning of the trooper, I hate that he's no longer going to be drumming on stage with them, it truly hurts me, but I fully support and understand why he's chosen to step back, he can't play the way he has his whole life, and the fact that he's been the drummer for maiden for 42 years means his mind,muscles etc are all memory locked into playing the maiden songs the way he recorded them, and the way he managed to reprogram himself to simplify his drumming after his stroke is just amazing, Thank you Nicko mcbrain, you are the reason I am a drummer and I don't have the words to express how much I'm going to miss you performing with maiden but just how much good you have brought to my life, I found the lord jesus Christ again because of you, Thank you for your massive impact on my life from the age of 13 , to being 49 you have been an inspiration, love you NICKO.
SEEN THE REAL AND ORIGINAL iRON MAIDEN IN 1980 .. this band are no where near the real maiden especially a3rd guitarist who is a pain in the arse..i lost interest after 7th son and ive never regarded dickinson as a maiden vocalist .. i seen every tour from killers to 7th son only tour that was real was killers..

Things have to change when touring or you know what's coming next. Move on make way for something else. Bruce will doing more costume changes than Taylor Swift otherwise 🤣
Timing was never realy Nicko's strong suit,he was always a bit all over the shop live doesnt make him any less of a total legend and the fact he's still a touring rock drummer at his age makes him a hero in my eyes.

After all, look at the sold out venues all around the world still after all these years !!! Very, very few bands have been together as long as maiden and are still performing before huge sold out crowds at huge arenas !!!!! Not a chance I was there and it’s amazing. It’s amazing. Nico could still play and it’s amazing what Bruce also has overcome. They are not too old for metal. When you’re there, it’s a completely different experience.
