It's more just the Arrma 8th scale platform that's my favorite bashers. Not just because arrma builds awesome rigs. It's because of the overwhelming aftermarket support that makes them so incredibly.
Like seeing how others upgrade their RC compared to me. I’m scouring the internet for Typhon upgrades and most are getting basher chassis, braces, and shock towers. I’m speed running my car so I’m looking for weight savings and drive train efficiency parts. I went with carbon fiber shock towers, ceramic bearing kit, and a tire balancer. I would like some milled out drive cups and titanium tie rods and pillow balls next.
@@fxrc3086 I haven’t found a chassis that weighs less than the stock chassis. I have the V5 and it is strong enough for speed runs. Whom ever wants to make a molded CF V5 chassis for the Typhon can take my money.

Thanks for the video Fox, really useful as a new Typhon owner (who has already bent the chassis and shock towers!). Was interested in the plastic "bumpers" you have on the front shock tower which stops the M2C metal from getting wrecked. Guessing they're something you made, rather than bought?
Its the stub axle... its the part that goes into the hub and attaches to the CVDs. Ur going to want the 17mm weel hex from the kraton also. U can use the typhon 17mm weel hex but you'll need to space it out a bit but it works👍👍 good luck my friend
That would probably work as well. As long as the offset is enough. Large offset hex extenders aren't that great but you can also get weels with a decent offset added to a hex extender should work👍👍 truggifin it they way I did is just a more stable and durable way of doing it my friend
