I'ma be honest this video kinda of stressed me out on attempting to lower my action on my Ibanez 12 string. Ive done it to a non electric acoustic but a 6 string and was successful just scared to do it with my 12 bc it's electric acoustic.
If you did your action and were successful on a 6-string acoustic guitar you can do it on the 12 string it's exactly the same process. Whether it's electric or not doesn't matter because that's only a preamplifier that's in the body going to the Jack has nothing to do with the string action. It's all in the saddle adjustment to get the height of the action you want. Good luck thanks for checking in I like it

I got it now, piezzo pickup, I have same problem with my Ovation nylon guitar, the saddle attached with the wire to piezzo but the different is, it has no stack little cardboard prop anymore but the saddle still pretty high. I never really work with the acoustic electric guitar, always afraid to open it but now after I watched your vid I might give a try. Thanks.
if the saddle on yous is flat like on my 6 string and there are no shims under it to remove to lower action, then you can use a sandpaper (like a 320 grit I used on the nut lowering I did in another video) to sand off a little from the bottom. Take off a little bit at a time, keeping the saddle straight and even pressure across all of it. This can also be done by reversing the saddle in your hand after every few passes on the sand paper. check string height often to achieve optimum preference.
