Pretty sure games going forward from next year will adapt to Ray tracing and DLSS. Especially the Nvidia gamework branded ones. If consoles are doing it, pc will too.
Ray tracing in games is here to stay, better lighting is one of the main ways by which visuals can be improved. And ray tracing is not really a fad, it's been around since the 16th century. Nvidia have really done a job on you by conflating the concept of ray tracing with RTX.
@@adamm784 Not just that, it's a number of proprietary technologies. Otherwise there would not have been news that the visual quality, aside from performance, of AMD ray tracing was not as good as that of Nvidia.
DLSS and Ray tracing will be better also early next year on AMD, but now only 2-3 games are really good in RTX (Control, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077) DLSS 2.0 is in 2-3 games all? :D
What would be a best GPU to get 144 FPS on a 1440p monitor for COD:MW2019 on the highest setting. I don’t really care about ray tracing just the normal game on highest setting on average of 144 FPS.
I'm happy because AMD can now compete with Nvidia (it is better for us, the consumers, for sure). I still like Nvidia more because their drivers are way more stable (I have AMD RX580 and the drivers are a pain), but, it's good that now you can choose based on your preferences.
I wanted an RTX 3080, couldn't get one. Next option, RTX 3070 couldn't get on either... Next option, RX 6800 XT, Waaaaay overpriced around 200 Euros over MSRP, no reference cards available and only sapphire nitro for 899 Euros, so no buy for me, too much money. All of the sudden a wild XFX RX 6800 reference appears for 629 Euros... I had to get it !! it was my chance and got it. Considering that i could get one around 2 weeks after release date, this means that AMD GPUs availability is better than Nvidia, at least in this part of the world (Portugal).
The RX6800 is so efficient it could be a 2 fan card. Go third party for no coil whine and much much cooler. I believe it's a bios control that makes the RX6800 not overclock. It's the same card with some bits turned off ot burned off, as the 6800XT, it uses the same PCB and Ram, it should clock to 2500. It would be too good so it's artificially limited. Mine crashes right around 2300mhz. Undervolted, mine would exceed 2300mhz and crash even when it wasn't overclocked. I think it's a bios control. Possibly you could install the RX6800XT bios and then it would clock like the XT version. Or these days, just spend the extra and get the XT because prices have come down.
@@lazyturtle61 It might just be you. I have zero problems with my Gaming X, my Asus Tuff or my Sapphire, but all have good power supplies, all are undervolted, all are permitted the maximum possible power, all are running 60C or less in well ventilated cases. It might just be you.

If Geforce then tell me 1440p or 3440 * 1440 performance at Ultra settings in the tutorial stage please (where she is in that building not in the dream world and also which setting and card you use). @@justmixah3408 yeah completely understand. It was AMD’s first graphic card that got anything to do with ray tracking. It looks great, however I still would prefer a 3080 over a 6800 I think. Even though its $50 more expensive, you get much more mature ray tracing, dlss (which is even better now with 2.0), generally better performance overall, and (in my opinion) a more attractive card. I think what AMD has done here is extremely impressive in that their lineup now seriously competes with Nvidia, especially with that 6900 vs the 3090. What would it be like to run Microsoft flight simulator 2020?
DLSS and Ray tracing will be better also early next year on AMD, but now only 2-3 games are really good in RTX (Control, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077) DLSS 2.0 is in 2-3 games all? :D
what do you mean , do you think rx 6800 will get drivers ? early next years with better dlss and rt
The best part about your videos is that your arms are 3 inches around. So we get a full view of the equipment you 're working with. Thanks.
What would be a best GPU to get 144 FPS on a 1440p monitor for COD:MW2019 on the highest setting. I don’t really care about ray tracing just the normal game on highest setting on average of 144 FPS.
I get that with my 5700xt in MW
@@HardHeadMilitary may I ask which cpu are you using?
@@Joker00644 ofc, i have the 3800xt factory clock, in the x570 meg ace mobo, 32gb of oloy warhawk 3600mhz ram

Sapphire pulse 5700xt, 1080p it pushes about 180fps in multiplayer, but mw has frame drops like crazy
I got this and its aging like fine wine
I'm happy because AMD can now compete with Nvidia (it is better for us, the consumers, for sure). I still like Nvidia more because their drivers are way more stable (I have AMD RX580 and the drivers are a pain), but, it's good that now you can choose based on your preferences.
how many rtx graphics cards does he have in his background he litterally has probobly over £15000 worth of tech in his background alone WTF
Should I trade my rtx 3070 +150 for a 6800
Best AMD CPU for gaming ?
Depending on budget
What image did he have as his background on his desktop
What about streaming ?
I just like how all youtubers assume you can go to the store and pick up a GPU/CPU this gen...
Gonna put a black sharpie to that red pinstripe!
Rocking 6800 XT @ 2.55Ghz
10:25 but fortnite IS an RTX (and DLSS) title now... It's a minor point, but yeah. Good vid btw
This is by far the best card for the Mac Pro 5.1 with open core.
image sharpening on AMD does more for the graphics in control than Ray tracing does anyways.
Has anyone tried this with Valve Index? I can't find any reviews
Theres still coil whine with the msi gaming z trio
@@lazyturtle61 Yeah, @1080p cranking out more frames than a monitor can display.
@@robertkubrick3738 1440p at half the refresh rate
@@lazyturtle61 You do know people get a substandard card now and then? How big is your sample size?
@@lazyturtle61 It might just be you. I have zero problems with my Gaming X, my Asus Tuff or my Sapphire, but all have good power supplies, all are undervolted, all are permitted the maximum possible power, all are running 60C or less in well ventilated cases. It might just be you.
This video will be helpful a year from now
Am able to sustain 2450 with no issues on mine
Same little higher on sapphire pulse model
if this card wouldnt be 80 dolar more expensive i would go but 80 dolar is matter..my point of view there is 80 dolar cheaper cards almost same..i would go with 3070 but i dont buy 3070 either cuz 8 gb is joke for 4k especially in future..so i wait ti models ..or i would go with 6800xt..
I like the design!
can u do the best part for laptop pllllsssss
If you are a Linux user, wait at least another year for a working linux driver.
Only Nvidia works on launch day out of the box with Linux.
AMD graphics is for Windows gamers only.
Dude I love your accent so much.Music to my ears.
Once again, AMD let's it's customers Beta Test their hardware.
seems like a super good paring for my 1440p 165hz monitor
By the time you can get one of these or a 3080, AMD will be launching the RX7800 and Nvidia the RTX4080.
Im not first
Im not last
But most importantly
Nobody aksed
Dude your're last,
i mean your comment is the last one.
Yup the only game I turned ray tracing on for is also Control.
I got my RX 6800 today and I as well played Control with Ultra raytracing on a 3440 * 1440 monitor at around 30 FPS. Graphics look gorgeous. Performance is meh as you can imagine... But it's better than I thought performance wise. ~40 FPS in 1440p...
Do you own a Geforce or a Radeon GPU? If Geforce then tell me 1440p or 3440 * 1440 performance at Ultra settings in the tutorial stage please (where she is in that building not in the dream world and also which setting and card you use). Edit: without DLSS of course.
Man I was expecting that nvidia would be shamed to death!!!!😤
ofc not this is zen 1 when compared to intel. rdna 3 will be where it gets really spicey.
@@zoltankramer3383 no ifs. Having manufacturing problems ties in to making solid cpus its because of these problems that they are still on the same node. And you said nvidia is not intel which they literally are. They're a monopoly who has improved unlike intel but would still being give ok jumps of perf for 1000s of dollars
@@justmixah3408 yeah completely understand. It was AMD’s first graphic card that got anything to do with ray tracking. And who knows when amd comes up with their own version of dlss they might even end up beating nvidia. At least they did not slap a massive 1500 dollar price of a graphic card for just a 10% percent hike to its predecessor.
Btw highly excited for my 6800xt
can someone recommend a good spec for a $750-$800 pc please
i bought one for around 850 usd and it sucks in 2020........the things in my country is exp but not much of a diff.. u need at least 1000 usd

Am ok with my 2070 tbh...I just play siege Everytime XD...and it will be far enough to run most of the games in medium or high
So I wouldn’t be mad at all with a team red card, but would prefer team green still I’d say. Now it’s just about availability for both manufacturers and how easily people can get them, especially for msrp
6800xt then! 6gb more ram and there will be a DLSS like software in January.
Team Red All The Way 😎
Hi Marcus, you replied to me on Instagram... thank you 😊
it's not good time for upgrade, if you can't buy a graphic card
It’s actuality faster then 3070 in any games
