Speed flips are technically faster than front flips bc the distance from the point of rotation is shortest when air rolling and therefore allows you to land the fastest to flip again. It’s likely a negligible difference but could matter if racing another boost less player across the pitch
Now that I think about it though a front flip dodge would speed up the rotation so idk we’d have to look at the code or test and time it but I imagine there is some difference although likely negligible

Or you could just hold air roll left/ right and do a front flip cancel... seems easier and more consistent. Holding directional air roll whilst doing a front flip will give you a perfect diagonal flip
just tried it and some degree of the joystick is still needed therefore in my experience making a little less consistent, maybe it just changes from player to player
I can’t get the dodge angle right and even when I do, I can’t cancel fast enough. The speedflip trainer plugin tells me I’m cancelling at about 100 ms every time but I simply can’t cancel faster

I was told that front/back/side flips take 1.5 seconds to complete and diagonal flips take 1.25. If that is true, then even without boost, speed flipping would technically be faster than front flipping
I can do the speedflip but i cant do the kickoffs nor can i be precise to get to the ball, but i can do it for speed only. But not to accurately hit the ball
thats a very common problem, key is practice, and do speedflips every chance you get, im thinking on doing a kick off tutorial, with a bunch of different viable kick off strats with and without speedflips, so stay tuned

My speedflip training pack doesn't work. The timer just gets reset immediately to 9 seconds
odd, only the first shot works i believe, if that one doesnt work either, join the discord, i have other training packs there

what helped me the most is just starring at my joystick 🤣 and make sure i hit the 45 degree angle on it

Should I change bindings? Because my boost is circle and my flip is x I can’t boost and flip at the same time
probably so, i used to have this same problem, i now boost with r1 and it solved all of my issues with it, hope that helps
