This man went Carmelo on everyone this season. What a fun team to watch. This guy was a cold blooded killer from the big east tournament on. My favorite run all time by a team.
there was nothing fun about him or this team. It was a me-first 1-on-5 'just give the ball to Kemba'.
It wasn't a team.
My least favorite player in college basketball history. This run honestly soured me on March Madness.
UConn literally proved that year November-February is utterly meaningless.
@@chrisuncleahmad bro ur an idiot kemba is one of if not the greatest tournament players ever and he elevated that team to be great. he was the best player but that was a good team that just found there stride in the tournament
@@chrisuncleahmad it definitely wasn’t a 1 on 5 ofc kemba gonna have the ball in his hands a lot bc he’s the point guard and best scorer
@@chrisuncleahmad you a clown
Dude LITERALLY carried a bunch of freshman on his back. GREATEST NCAA RUN of ALL TIME!!!
As great as this run was, 2014 NCAA tournament was more of a Cinderella run when Napier carried the load. This team was a 3 seed in the tourney, but the 2014 championship team was a 7 seed. If I re call Napier was the only player from that team that got drafted. The team from this video had, Kemba, J Lamb, and Napier who all made it to the NBA
@@gladepittenger9395Deandre Daniels was drafted 37th along with Napier at 24 that year.
Cardiac kemba🤩🤩🤩🤩
Shabazz then went on to have arguably a more challenging championship run of his own incredible
Absolutely facts!!!
He was unreal that year. It was a better performance than melo’s seeing that he beat Kawaii Leonard.
And given that before the big east tournament, there was question on whether Uconn would even make the ncaa tournament. Incredible run.
Also beat Derrick Williams and Brandon Knight which might seem less impressive now but both were actually selected ahead of Kemba in 2011
One of the craziest runs in history! #KembaFan
DA Man from the Bronx....WOW
Let's see all Uconn"s games from this tournament!
what were they thinking with the UConn vs Kentucky camera angle
this man really was supposed to be one of the best in the league
I mean he had a pretty good career
@@user-gm5gc1be4w Not really just another great PG with wasted years on the bobcats
14:17 WHY CCANT THE NBA USE THE CAMERA ANGLE BRO, WATCH HOW THE COACH REACTS AND HOW U CAN SEE THE PLAYERS TRUE SPEED UN FAST BREAK WITH A G\HUGE LANDSCAPE-BIRDS EYE VIEW. ITS BEATIFUL CRAXY AF THE NBA HASNT CHANGED YEARS AGO SMH
14:06, NOT THE LAYUP I STAMPED LOL B4 THAT
repent and trust in Jesus you will be saved
My least favorite player in college basketball history.
The single flukiest National champ ever. UConn that year was utterly mediocre until that 11 game lucky run.
Salty much?
@@ScottyTownsend91 How is he salty? He’s just stating facts UConn we’re very mediocre till that 11 game run but that’s sports all it takes is a couple of wins to get the ball rolling and the momentum is firing on all cylinders.
But they won every single tournament that year including the invitationals so it wasn’t a fluke they were Great in postseason play
