I spent 8 days in Istanbul during Covid. What an amazing city, I get goosebumps just thinking about it. The people couldn't have been nicer, and the food is delicious. I will be back.

@@peregrino9154 probably all the civilization, ethnic group. After 22 empires, not only 22 ethnic groups but more live in Turkey. I've met even a Lydian who comes from Spain. He's so happy meeting me. He said he's Spanish but his ancestors are Lydian. I guess after Troy fell to Greeks , some Lydians stayed but some run to Spain.
I spent 10 days in Turkey.I travelled to Istambul,Cappadocia,many places.People are very nice and also the guide. All places I visitted are so wonderful . so amazing place ..magic
My daughter studied for a semester in Marmara University. Visiting her for about a month, I was able to experience how it is in the outskirts of city. Turkiye as it is now called is really an amazing country. I won’t mind residing there given the chance.
I live here. It’s amazing, I get paid well, I go to Kayseri for skiing in the winter months, I go to Marmaris for nice beach holidays. It’s an all in one.

First time I went to Turkey I didn't want to go. ! It was last choice because flights to Greece were full. I knew I wouldn't like it. !! I could NOT be more wrong.. I loved it. Too many reasons to give here. People / History / Culture / Food.. everything !! Been back 3 times now. Anyone who can please help Turkish people by visiting / donating financial help to them. ??
I have been in Athena and Turkiye, don't want to hurt feeling of Greeks but this 2 countries uncomparable. Greek's country needs better care. Turks care for theirs country, they give plenty love to their's Motherland and result is high vibes.

As a Turkish, i only traveled 1/4 of my country and believe me, i traveled with my family a lot and i studied in another cities as well. When it comes to travel, we don’t even need to leave our country. We have everything here: lakes, skiing, beaches, museums, ancient cities, festivals, huge variety of foods… and I am glad to see that foreigners starting to travel another cities (not just İstanbul and Antalya) and appriciate my country’s offers. We are happy to welcome you. ❤🎉

Although Türkiye is a Muslim country, it is also a secular country. I know because I went there. The people are very friendly and nice. Türkiye does not like and hates sharia countries, for example Syria and Afghanistan.
Türkiye is the capital of the world in the eyes of us Turks. Our people, our culture and traditions, our history and our food are all very beautiful. No matter how much the western media smears us because of our Muslim leader, 90% of whom are Muslims, and our values with Islamic sensitivity, the truth is one and does not change. If I were English, I would definitely be ashamed of my country, which has created itself through colonialism. Thank God, we did not exploit and we were not exploited. As being grown up in Turkey, I've learned many different cultures, traditions, cuisines, life styles, arts, history etc. here. I feel myself amazingly lucky. But I've been travelling all around as well to know new cultures etc. The world is amazing and life is a gift.

It’s feel amazing to travel alone, don’t you think? You can do whatever you want, eat want wherever you like, no attachment , you seem very comfortable to eat out in restaurants alone, that’s pretty awesome
I avoided touristic destinations in Turkey. Was excellent experiencing authentic country side and villages. Not having to see international tourists was the best reward for me.
