My wife and I live and work in Istanbul, one of the most amazing cities in the world. Over the last 17 years we have lived in other parts of the country too and visited many others during a 5 month motorhome road trip. We know all of the locations included in your travel videos. You’ve done the country proud. Teşekkürler.
I'm looking into turkey because I'm considering moving there from the UK, without giving to much of your personal info away if you don't mind where are you from and how does living in turkey compare to it? The people seem great are they accepting of people who don't follow islam etc?
@@DoomCatcher Hi! I'm from Turkey and I want to inform you about people. Yes, we are accepting people from all around the world. Turkey is a secular country, so you don't need to worry about that. Especially, if you want to live in more developed cities such as Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, and Antalya, people won't mind whether you are a Muslim or a Christian etc.
@@DoomCatcher You can live freely as you want. But be careful, because the law is not very reliable, there are many fraudulent people. This applies not only to you, but also to Turks.
Me and my family spent 10 nights in Turkiye in October this year. 4 nights in Istanbul, 3 nights in Cappadocia and 3 nights in Antalya. I absolutely loved the trip and will never forget it. InShaAllah, I hope to return to Turkiye again 🫶🏼💜
With a tears of joy I am informing you, dear Sir, that these Turkey tour two-part episodes are among the best content on Your channel and on TH-cam year 2022. A true masterpiece 👍🏻
i have watched so many youtube videos of Turkey however yours is the best one i have seen .. amazing cinematography nice editing with lovely music and seeing you guys having so much fun made me laugh and cry with you .pure joy. thumbs up .
I have been to turkey thrice They say once you go to Istanbul your heart will never be at peace away from it You summarized turkey very well and you had a really awesome group Really looking forward to you exploring my home country in the next series
Cappadocia is amazing, I'm so glad I got to visit the area back in 2019. But I'm kicking myself for not visiting Zelve Open Air Museum. At least I got to go up in a hot air balloon, which is a bucket list item I never knew I wanted.
Loved this! I did the two week intrepid Turkey tour in 2019 and this brought back so many memories 😢 our tour included a two night boat trip all around those islands that you did was incredible
Loved this. I have been to Turkey 5 times with various cities there. some of my favorite cities are kas, cappadocia, izmir and antalya. I hope the next trip can go to the city of Mardin. Turkey has many beautiful places and full of amazing relics. I will go to Turkey again in May for vacation because Turkey is always interesting to visit.
Just watched the doc karl...Been to Turkey 3 times and always have a great time..last time was in gumbet neat bodrum...beautiful beaches for relaxation...love the docs and keep up the good work!!
I just found your channel and am caught up on the videos. Wow, Turkey is amazing! I feel my face smiling when I watch your videos. You do an amazing job of keeping it real. Love your style!
Hi Karl. It seems I was in Cappadocia and Antalya at exactly the same time as you, (10th June to .24th June). But I went independent from Istanbul, getting public trains and buses everywhere. Then all day walks all around the different Cappadocia valleys. Fantastic country and I plan to go back again this summer to carry on filming for my new TH-cam channel.
What a fantastic couple of episodes that was, not sure how you do it but these videos are getting better and better, great bunch of people on the trip, also great choice of music once again and I liked the way you have included other peoples footage too, brilliant...! G
Loved it as always. Brought back memories from my own solo trip at the beginning of this year. And made me realise that there is so much more to see in this country! But the most important part: I just CANNOT wait for the Pakistan series!!!
We watched 2 great episodes. I think it was my favorite episode. The tour guide got emotional at one point...Everything was great, the group was great.
Karl you are so amazing bro... i liked your content, amazing and fantastic trip you took us to great Turkiye, i always liked Turkiye much more than any other country on earth, Thank you for all this.... greeting you from horn of Africa as A Somali 🙏
Karl, I just wanted to say this is another incredible film. I used to travel a lot when I was a child but kind of lost my passion for it. You have re-inspired me. I have booked my own trip of 4 weeks around Spain. Also what a great group of people, although Gus' cameo was the real MVP. Excited for Pakistan and all the future trips.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful and touching trip with a group of cooperative and jovial lovely people. Your video of places and the people make me smile and laugh for the entire 2 episodes. At times, I have goose bump, especially the awesome Cappadocia hot air balloon ride. The video has given me a good insight into the popular places as I will be spending 10 days in Turkey covering almost the same route you did except the island tour. Appreciate very much of the detail, wonderful and professional videos. Have subscribed and will follow your program from now on. ❤
What a great series! I totally enjoyed watching you and the group have a fabulous time. Thank you for sharing! Btw, Furkan did a great job as your tour guide!
I loved this, in fact I feel like I've been to Turkey with you guys! It was great seeing bits from the perspective of the group too. Top content as always 👌
I also had a lot of fun watching you have fun. I hope this group will come together in many places and have a great time again. From Turkiye with love 🇹🇷👋
Hi Karl, thank you for calling my country’s real name which is Türkiye. 🥰😍👍🙏 Yes, you are right. The journey was organised the wrong way. Also there is an airport in izmir which is very closed to Selçuk Efes so you could have flown from there rather from Istanbul. It looks like you spent extra too much time on the road unnecessarily but as you said you met loads of nice people to share the journey with. I loved every minute of watching your video and feeling homesick now as I live in the UK. Thanks again Karl.
Two moments I was shocked; the first one when the sun rises over Kapadokya that i felt so emotional and the second was when you shot the whole glass of "rakı" at once and I felt like turned my head... neler ever do again😅... but et the end i am writing this comment with semi wet eyes.. whyyyy? Dunno i think i am getting old anyway... so great job, great pleace, great journey friends and great video... once again... thank you🤗🙏
I absolutely loved yr two videos....brilliantly done. I'm English and been going Turkey last 25 years ( since divorced a Turkish woman) ...tho you showd places I've still not visited. You've done a fantastic job of inspiring people I'm sure tho you have to try more Raki ..yavaş yavaş aslan süt ( means drink slowly its?lions milk) 😂 Hehe ...really enjoyed...Will watch more of your videos, Thank you🙂
Awesome episodes... You really captured the camaraderie of the group which was really cool to see - and the shots from Cappadocia and Antalya were just amazing. Great stuff!
It started with a TH-cam suggestion for the Antarctica series. Since I binged quite a lot of them and I love your films. But this one (and the "night train to Georgia") confirms the idea we continental Europeans have about (most younger) British tourists: evening entertainment = get as drunk as possible as quickly as possible. And btw, Raki is the Turkish equivalent of the French Pastis!
Amazing pal really loved this one. Cappadocia looked incredible and that hot air balloon ride! What I loved most about this one was the group dynamic, it was so lovely to watch. I've visited and really enjoyed my time in Istanbul but had the same mindset as yourself about Coastal Turkey just being a Brits Abroad Destination but it looks beautiful. Can't wait for the Pakistan Video 🙂
Glad you told us about the blue arrows! We went to on Underground City and didn't know which colour arrows to follow for the way out! The disadvantage of not having a guide!lol!
This is one of my favourite travel channels to watch! I get so inspired and you edit your videos really well. Genuine freindships and great memories/experiences. I Hope soon I can come on one of these tours. Thank you for the content again Karl!
hate it or love it. raki is a social drink. you just sip, eat some meze (tapas) have a great chat and repeat the whole process. i would personally just go for beer.
Wow! What an amazing experience! Now I really want to visit in the future. I can't wait until your Pakistan video comes out. I just took an amazing Intrepid Travel tour in Jordan in November, and we also had such a great group. Your shows sure inspire me. My next Intrepid Travel tour will be in Egypt in the fall. ❤️❤️
Enjoy! We Turks cannot step out of the house due to inflation :) Btw, I watched the video as a documentary. The footage and the narration were very good. The group was very nice. ✌️

Dam you Karl, Turkiye is now on our holiday go to list.
You’re welcome 😜

The fact that even the most jokesters of the group fall speechless of the scenery of Cappadocia says a lot.
baloons and the sunrise is so magical just like out of the movie I'm from this place but I had no experience bc its so expensive
