After listening to this i wish King Snake could have shown up on a few episodes of Batman TAS or Justice League Unlimited as voiced by John Shea from this audio drama .
@@1995Batman I find it interesting that King Snake is Bane's Father , but yeah it would have been interesting to see him as drawn in Bruce Timm's art style and animated for BTAS 😊😀he could have fit in with it's Art Deco 40s/50s look as one of the notorious crime bosses like Rupert Thorne and he would have been at odds with Red Claw.
@@1995Batman John Shea really did a good job voicing the character , I mostly remember his Role as Lex Luthor in Lois and Clark TV show. He was also in a episode of Tales from the Crypt I remember. I really like his voice acting here I'm surprised this came out in the late 90s , I really wish Kevin Conroy could have voiced Batman in this especially for Death in the Family story they already had Mark Hamill from BTAS on here they could have gotten Kevin , hell even Tim Daily as Superman
@@1995Batman Word. I The acting isn't the best, but to enjoy a story for a couple hours it's still fun. I think the last time I listened to this was Fall of 2000!!* Thanks for the trip down memory lane! *Thinking about it, it was probably Spring of 2000, rather than the Fall.
No, I don't think they did a novel. It's an original audio drama loosely following Death in the Family and Lonely Place of Dying. Covers the first 3 Robins, Dick, Jason and Tim.
@@1995Batman I've checked. There was no novel written about this. I just guessed it was, based on the various paperback anthologies that came out in the 1989/Early 90s about Batman (3 volumes) Joker, and Catwoman, this Robin anthology would fit in perfectly with those books. Thanks very much for uploading this!
If a woman doesn't have super powers, the idea that she'd be able to fight Batman for more than15 seconds, is not believable. Too many women buy into that crap, and end up getting hurt, when they hit men...
I have the audio cassettes and now I get to share this with my readers. Thanks for posting this.
You're welcome.
Thanks for these audio book uploads and the blog is really cool
You're welcome!
Started a new job and got a 40 min drive in the morning. Listen to this love jt
Awesome. I used to do the same thing on my work journey!
I never knew Jason's mom set him up, wow. Great audio book post more!
Yeah, been a while since I read Death in the Family but I'm fairly sure she set him up but got screwed over by the Joker there as well.
@@1995Batman yeah but in another sad twist in Jason’s last moments he shielded his mother even though they still both died
This helps me go to sleep thank you oh and by the way normally when I go to sleep it takes me 4 or 5 hours to go to sleep.
Ah my wife has the same thing. Has to listen to something to get to sleep. Glad to hear this is working for you.
It features the voice of Mark Hamil (the voice of The Joker).
Yep and John Shea (Lex Luthor in Lois and Clark) is the narrator!
@@1995Batman you got it.
🤡
@@1995Batman the great voice of the joker
This must have been the first time mark Hamil did the joker?
I had the audio cassettes of this. The only thing that could have made this complete is if they would have added the “Cry of the Huntress” story.
Yesssss. I love those 90s Huntress stories.

Yeah, I've been reading some of the 90s Robin stories. King Snake was a great villain.
