Hey Guido, I pulled apart my scar to do some upgrades. When I went to undo the screws on the gear box and they were so tight on. I ended up stripping the screws of the gear box. What should I do? A guy who does mods said to get a nylon gear box and screws and scrap the old one
Use the harder gels they spin in flight an this distorts there shape as they fly some break apart an the more powerful the blaster the harder they spin an drift off .same sort of rules as the really old muskets with round projectiles an smooth bores also knotted gel ball size is a massive part also if the barrel is 7.5mm inside a ball of 6 or 6.5 group better then 7 to 7.5 but the bigger or proper size ball hit much harder

It is a great review and these toys are heaps of fun just worried the government will see that Australians are having fun and they aren't making enough money out of it so they will stop it Australian government sucks we need to bring Airsoft to Australia it would help boost the economy people pay thousands of dollars to go to games all over the world

blasters with proper modes switch (ok-->great) : Lehui scar, STD ak47, UBAND mkm seri--->Little Moon black ak12 (old gen mode switch, but work correctly), Lehui scorpion evo3 (newer combine mode switch,best reliable), Weil g36 v2 a tiny less reliable than evo3 but can be make perfect, the only blaster i know that has ambidex mode switch .
Good review. I find the gel balls very inconsistent. Makes it hard to distinguish if its the blaster or the gel thats the problem. Recommend any gel balls that hydrates the same size? I find some are too big or too small.
I find that the renxiang brand balls in the little 500 sachets are the best consistency. its the bulk bags that you buy on ebay that are inconsistent.
Appreciate the detailed review. How does the build quality stand up to current common blasters like the m4a1 gen 8 and gen 9?

Great review! Great gun! One thing . Usable accuracy from a TOY gun with diferrent diameter gel balls?)) Gel balls vary in size A LOT. If you use precise size gel balls your shooting may become more accurate.
Pro Mike this is true. I didn't mention it but I was using milky whites which is one of the better more consistent gel balls. And My M4 with the same amo will hit that target 9 times out of 10 All day. Its not entirely the ammos fault. The blaster is just not real accurate out of the box.
There maybe another thing. I'm afraid SCAR V2 may be not accurate enough because of its power no matter how paradoxically it may sound. Gel balls have LIMITS in their nature. So with gel ball guns you have to choose between power, accuracy and rate of fire when speaking about guns from the box. You can work on your gun upgrading its characteristics but won't be able to turn it into airsoft gun)... Anyway Thanks for the review! It was a pleasure to watch.
I love mine all they need upgrade wise is a alloy barrel and a simple hop up
If you purchase through the Tac Toys website you can add a small range hop up (said to add 25 meters but will probably only do 10 or so) for $25 AU

@@lowguidoschopshop Thanks....it is now on the radar...almost. Imitation laws in the NT are now the only hurdle.
12 months ago they said they were firearms but more recent media releases have dropped 'firearms' but are sticking with imitation which is a Weapons Act issue rather then a Firearms Act breach.
3/4 coppers that I have spoken to in person say they would like my vision for blasters on the NT become a reality.....as did an MLA. 😁

I find mine a bit inconsistant shootingwise. Not accuracy but about half the times the gelballs simply dont come out.

Hey there how did you go with extra mags to v1 mags fit
I have found that most of the p mag type mags from other blasters all seem to fit and work. The STD6 mag doesn't seem to work, but the SCAR mag works in the STD6.

I'm a bit confused here, I'm getting the JM SCAR V2, but there's no marking or semi function. How many V2 version are there? Lol

SCAR V2 is a very commonly available gel blaster.. check your local seller.

Can I run a 11.1V lipo on a stock SCAR? Or is there any upgrades you'd recommend to run a 11.1V lipo?
uss717hamptonify yes, the jinming wggs are famous for running 11.1v batteries
you should be pretty safe to do that but if you want higher lipos you will need a larger stock but other wise you will be fine

Not without adding a MOSFET.. just let your finger off the bang button you can work the timing out to fire semi

Every video i come across about gel blasters are all Australian so it is hard to get the same guns in the UK. Idk why Australia banned airsoft guns

Why did you say that it’s fresh out Of the box and you’ve just put it together and all that stuff then you go on and say well I’m open this up and I’ve looked all on the insides and everything so you obviously didn’t just put it together you took it apart and put it back together But in otherwise yeah thanks for the review was really great I’d be definitely saving up for one of these and this was really helpful.
through the power of video editing I can open up a brand new blaster, and then have it stripped down and put back together in the blink of an eye.
