I inheratid my Brothers 10-22 international, manlicher stock. Havent shot it much. Tomarrow , we go to the range. and sporting goods store to get a scope mount base to mount low rings on. It came to me with see through rings. Will shoot the irons agian, last time I had to beat on them with an empty beer can and a rock . I will get them regulated ; then put the Nikon 4 x back on it. I miss him ! He would understand the changes I am making to his 10-22 . Including you bedding job. Much to cuss and discuss here. My eyes are leaking . Thanks.
What about putting a thin strip of bicycle tire tubing just before the barrel clamp to eliminate the vertical stringing of your group before sanding on the stock?
I got 2 of em, they shot better with pressure up at front but without band on. It's easy to test just put a little plastic credit card front & back between metal & wood, tighten screw. It lifts up the action up enough to shoot be free floated. What FF does is make the rifle more stable with temp & humidity changes. POI will stay same through the changes.

Nice Job! Ending had me laughing ! from West Michigan
Lost me when ya went all Donald Duck.
Going to try to free float the barrel on my cooey 64 b , bed the action also.
The most interesting thing in the whole video you don't even mention.
I never even considered using a syringe for epoxy. That blew my mind.
It's definitely a clean way to apply it.

Nice Job. If i make the same too, i ask me, if i should put my UTG 10/22 Quad Rail on top.

Great video!! Is the barrel band necessary after doing this??
No it's not.
The video was okay until you went to fast play
ok so what are the results? I could cut the stock off, and if I don't show the improvement no would do it. How much did it improve the group size?
This rifle shoots sub moa for me with Aguilla target loads.
Ya lost me at the pocket knife on the barrel band.
Seems to me that you created apivot point by putting the bedding compound midway between the action and end of barrel.
True but the barrel is tapered so the pivot point is the thickest point
Do you have to torque the 2 barrel screws tighter after doing this?
Just good and firm.
What's the point of keeping the barrel band? The band holds the barrel to the stock, just toss it
So it looks stock.
Why do you even need the barrel band then???
It's just cosmetic
Try recording another presentation.
I would have liked to seen a before and after groups.
