Thanks. I bought the rear 2 and the items (on the bottom of that page) that are recommended with it (harness and mounts) for a great total price!

    Great video!

Great video 1st off but I would have done only one thing different then what you did here & it would be with the wiring, I would have wired the lights to one side vs down the center, sure it would have only saved roughly 4 feet of wire(roughly 2 feet of each of the positive & negative wires) but it would be easier imo to work on if I have/need to work on the wire loom! Plus, I'm using 80/20 Inc's 10 series extruded aluminum(yes, it's costly & time consuming, ie cad is a pain for me but I need a modular setup for my rig & none of the racks out there fit the bill) for my roof rack so I know I can easily hide my wires to make it a clean install! Again, nice video!

I agree. This was when I first got the roof rack. I have a totally different rack & setup now and all the wiring has completely been overhauled. :)

In fact in my new setup with the front runner rack, wires are now going through the hardtop using a cable gland (video on that as well) and my zombie lights are now exposed in a way where I can disconnect them fr the wires when needed. I also have a chase light installed for the rears as well. I learned a ton after this video about them not being accessible- lessons you just brought up, I learned the hard way 😂

Have you tried using marine heat shrink instead of electric tape?

Every electrical I've done SINCE this video has been nothing but marine grade heat shrink lol

What size gauge wire used for the harness

Due to length I'm using 12. There's a chart you can use depending how long your wire is going to be so you don't get voltage drop.
