I don't know, man. This season has just been... ugh... I've followed these characters for 100 episodes for seven years, and I felt nothing when Alicia and Strand were saying goodbye.

Adc posted a good bye message on her social media so I doubt she will be returning anytime soon but can see alicia returning for the final ever episode, I can't see many seasons left for fear though
Alycia Debnam Carey deserved so much better that this ending - after 7 seasons they could have wrote a better episode for her last one. I will say she absolutely killed it with her acting.
Was great to see alicia's last scenes was with strand adc and colman domingo have one of the strongest on screen and off screen relationship from all the actors on twd universe they are very close friends in real life his little sis he calls her
First Maggie left the Walking Dead (although at least she came back) to film another show and now Alycia left Fear to do another show. Crazy times indeed.

I like to think that this episode was a “it gets worse before it gets better” kind of thing. Like, she passed out a lot this episode and was getting progressively worse, but it didn’t kill her, and her fever broke. I think that’s why she was fine in the end, it was never gonna kill her, it just had to run it’s course.
I agree with you girl.. how they wrote Alicia and some of the other characters this season really upsets me… she’s the strong female lead & just annoyed me how she was being so stubborn and not listening to anyone, especially this being her last moments on the show.. (Alycia wanted to leave the show after this season) which also makes me so mad after everything.. Madison will be back and now her daughter is just gone off on her own.. I wanted that reunion. Madison coming back for what now? To change strand? Ugh.. no deadwood reunion either with Garret (would have been cute, only reason he joined the show was to act with Kim and they never got to share the screen) I was really hoping season 8 would make up for this (even tho there were some gems in this season) the fans wanted Madison back so the Clark’s could be together again but I don’t know. I love the show and will still watch.. it just makes me scratch my head with some of the decisions being made. This show used to be unique and different in a great way. I dont think the others knew that she didnt sail since her and Strand were the last ones to leave. But,it is a very messy season. Everything didnt make any sense. It is sad that Alicia's story arc was written so poorly.
I think the ending scene was a dream. I don’t think she is “cured” but I think it was meant for us to believe she’s dead but at peace knowing her friends got away. And her going back to the tower was just to show that she is still fighting. So I believe she will return.
That open ended ending for Alicia is literally so dumb. For an entire season straight shes been ''dying''. Then she makes everyone leave her, the radiation levels is nearing lethal as they're leaving. Then she wakes up in lethal levels of radiation and just so happens to have fresh makeup as if shes ready for the red carpet and is all fine? Nah, shes dead. No matter what they do later on, she died there. And it's such a dumb thing. They've killed that entire family at this point. And they kill the last one right before the OG returns? I mean, what's the point to bring back a mom whos only reason to survive was her kids, when they're all dead? This season has been so bad. It's the worst Fear season. It's worse than World Beyond even. Dumpster fire. I've seen the finale. And it's way better. But it's only good in comparison to the rest of the season. So all in all, it's still not great. I'm probably not gonna watch season 8 at this point. The show hasn't had a point since season 3.
I love this show and I adore this universe. Unlike most people, I've enjoyed this season up to this point. I appreciate the fact that her subconcious was telling her to go back and rescue Strand because no matter what he IS family, and she does love him. But why on God's green Earth did they write Alicia off the show THE EPISODE BEFORE Madison comes back. I get ADC was gonna move on, but the whole excitement of Madison coming back was due to a reunion with her daughter... I thought they were gonna get reunited and that somehow Alycia was gonna get captured by the CRM and seperated from Madison again or something like that. Madison coming back now feels so forced and gimmicky now, rather than being a natural part of the story. And also, I dont know about you, but if I was with Alicia, I would never leave her side. They all keep letting her go off and do her own thing even though she passes out every five seconds. Like she could've been torn apart by one of the dead because of it. And oh yeah... how is she just magically better after waking up??? Again, I've enjoyed this season way more than most... like I would personally give it a 7.5/10 ish, but I feel like the way they handled ADC's last episode was a miss. The story behind it was fantastic, but the execution wasn't there. Luckily her and Colman's acting was Oscar worthy as always and made it better lol.
I'm glad people like you and me can see the problems with this season but still enjoy the show. Most people in this fanbase are either Purists who think everything after season 3 is garbage and others who are in blind denial and still saying the show is fantastic. I like to hold the middle ground. Like I cam point out some good stuff in this episode - Alycia and Strands final scene was well done with great acting, plus the goodbyes were touching and there were some great visuals. But the problem with this episode and this season is its just all over the place. Characters are acting like idiots and constantly changing back and forth between decisions, most of the characters aren't acting like themselves anymore (Alycia especially was acting very stupidly this season). But all in all this was a disappointing season with a few good moments scattered throughout. At least the finale fixes (some) things up a bit before season 8

I don't think it's fantastic like last season was, but I certainly don't think it's trash like season 5 was. If the finale is as good as I've been told it is, and I still haven't seen it, then I might even bump my score up to an 8/10 rather than a 7.5/10. I feel like most people's complaints with this season are things that can either easily be explained, or aren't big enough deals to completely ruin the season. Certainly there are flaws, plenty of them actually, but just because something isn't perfect doesn't mean it's not good in its own right. For example, I seriously disagree with the decision to have Alicia leave before Madison comes back, especially now that everyone is gonna assume she's dead just like they did with Madison. That being said, Alicia's journey throughout this episode was beautiful, and beautifully acted. I loved how Amina was a representation of her. Something that was beyond repair, something that wasn't gonna survive what they were going through.... but somehow did. And like you said, the end scene with her and Strand is easily the best scene of the season. It felt like Colman was saying goodbye to Alycia. IMO the good certainly outweighs the bad in this episode and also throughout the season, but that doesn't mean I can't point out the negatives either. Like everyone constantly leaving Alicia. Or the fact that Alicia and Madison never reunited. But just because there are flaws doesn't mean it's absolute trash. Unfortunately we live in a world where if we don't agree with something in a show, or we don't like a certain decision made, it's immediately trash. Rather than taking a step back, analyzing it, and making a rational decision about it based on YOUR OPINION. Which is ultimately what TV is about. What each individual viewer thinks and how they enjoy it. But unfortunately this fandom has gotten super toxic over the years and fans try and dictate what others should think as if someone's opinions of the shows are not opinions, but instead fact. Like I said, I'm currently hovering at a 7.5 ish to 8/10. But that's just my opinion. And I have my reasons, both good and bad, as to why I would rate it that score. That being said, if someone wants to rate it lower than that's their opinion and I respect it. But hey, I'm one of the very few rational TWD universe fans still left I guess lol
So I believe that Alicia died and walked off in the afterlife. A few things come to mind, one she looked really really good for somebody who had been passing out every 5 minutes from her fever. The Geiger counter no longer showed any radioactivity. However in this universe no one's really dead unless a body is discovered. We saw this with Glenn and the dumpster, Rick in the bridge Madison and the fire. And now we have Alicia on the beach. However in season 8 they might let people know she's alive by hearing her voice over the radio even though you won't see her. The writers have been all over the place this season and it is because of the great acting that has carried it this season. However as great as an actor can be if the writing doesn't rise up, I don't see it going any further than season 8.

There was a lot of stupid in this episode, but the thing that annoyed me the most was the rest of the group continually leaving Alicia..... when we know they never would because she's someone they've been through hell with. The first time was after they'd saved her from the tower and safely stretchered her to the beach. Alicia wakes up, they have a brief conversation, and then they all just leave her. June isn't administering medical care, nobody's like, "Here, you're very dehydrated, drink some water." Nobody's looking over her, nobody notices when she wonders off alone, and seemingly nobody noticed her missing or went out looking for her if they did. Later, they hear Alicia's call for help, find her outside the tower, and again stretcher her to safety. She wakes up on the way back to the beach, they stop, have a conversation, and even though they're not sure what to believe there's this big moment where they decide that whatever it is she needs to do, they won't let her do it on her own.... but moments later Alicia says she has to do it alone and the rest of the group offer little to no resistance and are like, "Well ok, see ya." It made absolutely no sense, one moment they all care so much for this woman that they won't let her chase hallucinations alone, the next they leave her to head into a dangerous, burning tower block surrounded on all sides by radioactive walkers by herself??? There's no fucking way, not our characters. Then at the end, after they've again heard Alicia's call for help and stretchered her to safety for the third time no less, they all just leave her on the beach? They would never do that, ever. I know she was saying that she's about to die from the fever/infection and then she'd turn and pose a threat to them, but she's been saying that for months as she's lived with the infection, so why would they accept that now and leave her behind? I guess you could say that Strand was the only one who actually made the conscious decision to leave her behind because the others had already pushed off in their rafts and likely just assumed Alicia and Strand were right behind them, but on noticing that Alicia wasn't with Strand surely one or more of them would have gone back for her, no? As for Strand, there's no way he leaves her on that beach to die all alone. This is the young woman he said he loves because she's "the closest thing he has to a daughter," the young woman he said is "the closest thing I have to family left." (quotes might not be word for word) She's also the young woman that despite all he had done, came back to save him. Would the writers really have us believe that he would leave her alone on that beach after all they've been through together? The one person other than himself that he truly cares about? Again, there's no fucking way. Putting aside the fact that someone would have gone back for Alicia, it would have made more sense for Strand to stay behind with her. They still could have had Alicia wake, her fever broken, and she could have told Strand that if he wants to redeem himself, if he wants to make amends with her, he can start by helping her save anyone that heard her radio transmission and comes to the tower and then have them walk off into the sunset together.... but of course they don't want to write Strand out of the show, so they have him leave Alicia when we know he never would. They should have found another way. Finally, since it's the last episode we'll see Alycia in (at least for now - fingers crossed), I want to say that I've always thought that they made a huge mistake in not making the character of Alicia the key focus of the show after the death (seemingly) of her Mother and Brother. She was the last surviving member of the Clark family and Fear was always their story, the conduit through which we saw the fall of civilisation and the fight for survival. I really do think they did the show and indeed Alycia Debnam-Carey a massive disservice when instead of making Alicia the main protagonist, they brought Lennie James (who I love mind you) across from TWD and made Morgan that key focus/leader. Both Alycia as an actress and the character of Alicia were strong enough to carry this show as its lead and rightfully should have in my opinion. As it was, however, I don't feel like we really saw her character grow to any great extent over the past few seasons. She was largely reduced to playing second fiddle and even throughout this season, where she was thrust into a leadership role on the back of Teddy's batshit crazy plan, we still didn't see her effectively leading a group of people. Instead we got yet another season of her self-doubts and these dream-like moments of what should have been pivotal self-discovery that ultimately didn't really lead anywhere. It was super disappointing. Anyway, I should end this rant.... until next week when I'm sure the writers will give me a whole new list of grievances, haha.
Oof...ok..gonna say i still think its radiation sickness from that walker from season 4 that she killed, remember the blood splatter, i feel like thatll be the excuse they make when she comes back

I'm pissed off alicia as left she isn't dead though so can come back in the final season or the last episode I don't blame adc leaving she's already done four movies and two shows while she's been on fear, I think colman is only hanging around because he wants to work with kim dickens again it could be only one more season before colman goes through

This season was wack imo
There was a lot of stupid in this episode, but the thing that annoyed me the most was the rest of the group continually leaving Alicia..... when we know they never would because she's someone they've been through hell with. The first time was after they'd saved her from the tower and safely stretchered her to the beach. Alicia wakes up, they have a brief conversation, and then they all just leave her. June isn't administering medical care, nobody's like, "Here, you're very dehydrated, drink some water." Nobody's looking over her, nobody notices when she wonders off alone, and seemingly nobody noticed her missing or went out looking for her if they did.
Later, they hear Alicia's call for help, find her outside the tower, and again stretcher her to safety. She wakes up on the way back to the beach, they stop, have a conversation, and even though they're not sure what to believe there's this big moment where they decide that whatever it is she needs to do, they won't let her do it on her own.... but moments later Alicia says she has to do it alone and the rest of the group offer little to no resistance and are like, "Well ok, see ya." It made absolutely no sense, one moment they all care so much for this woman that they won't let her chase hallucinations alone, the next they leave her to head into a dangerous, burning tower block surrounded on all sides by radioactive walkers by herself??? There's no fucking way, not our characters.
Then at the end, after they've again heard Alicia's call for help and stretchered her to safety for the third time no less, they all just leave her on the beach? They would never do that, ever. I know she was saying that she's about to die from the fever/infection and then she'd turn and pose a threat to them, but she's been saying that for months as she's lived with the infection, so why would they accept that now and leave her behind? I guess you could say that Strand was the only one who actually made the conscious decision to leave her behind because the others had already pushed off in their rafts and likely just assumed Alicia and Strand were right behind them, but on noticing that Alicia wasn't with Strand surely one or more of them would have gone back for her, no? As for Strand, there's no way he leaves her on that beach to die all alone. This is the young woman he said he loves because she's "the closest thing he has to a daughter," the young woman he said is "the closest thing I have to family left." (quotes might not be word for word) She's also the young woman that despite all he had done, came back to save him. Would the writers really have us believe that he would leave her alone on that beach after all they've been through together? The one person other than himself that he truly cares about? Again, there's no fucking way. Putting aside the fact that someone would have gone back for Alicia, it would have made more sense for Strand to stay behind with her. They still could have had Alicia wake, her fever broken, and she could have told Strand that if he wants to redeem himself, if he wants to make amends with her, he can start by helping her save anyone that heard her radio transmission and comes to the tower and then have them walk off into the sunset together.... but of course they don't want to write Strand out of the show, so they have him leave Alicia when we know he never would. They should have found another way.
Finally, since it's the last episode we'll see Alycia in (at least for now - fingers crossed), I want to say that I've always thought that they made a huge mistake in not making the character of Alicia the key focus of the show after the death (seemingly) of her Mother and Brother. She was the last surviving member of the Clark family and Fear was always their story, the conduit through which we saw the fall of civilisation and the fight for survival. I really do think they did the show and indeed Alycia Debnam-Carey a massive disservice when instead of making Alicia the main protagonist, they brought Lennie James (who I love mind you) across from TWD and made Morgan that key focus/leader. Both Alycia as an actress and the character of Alicia were strong enough to carry this show as its lead and rightfully should have in my opinion. As it was, however, I don't feel like we really saw her character grow to any great extent over the past few seasons. She was largely reduced to playing second fiddle and even throughout this season, where she was thrust into a leadership role on the back of Teddy's batshit crazy plan, we still didn't see her effectively leading a group of people. Instead we got yet another season of her self-doubts and these dream-like moments of what should have been pivotal self-discovery that ultimately didn't really lead anywhere. It was super disappointing.
Anyway, I should end this rant.... until next week when I'm sure the writers will give me a whole new list of grievances, haha.

Oof...ok..gonna say i still think its radiation sickness from that walker from season 4 that she killed, remember the blood splatter, i feel like thatll be the excuse they make when she comes back

I think they should have killed Alicia off, had her pull the trigger, considering Alycia Debnam-Carey probably won't come back. As much as I don't want her dead.
This was by far the worst season of the whole series. Which is sad, considering who good it used to be.
This season is a complete shit show, and such a crap way for Alicia to leave the show!!! So badly written!!
In my opinion Alica is dead, jus like how Nick was in the blue bonnet field.
