It really bothers me how this season handled the abuse of Hughie... both Tek-Knight and the Shifter legally speaking committed r@pe yet the show doesn't really acknowledge it properly
Same not to mention, I found it strange how starlight got very upset with him regarding the shifter situation like if anything I thought he would’ve went the way of self guilt for not noticing after 10 whole days he was living with a stranger, but his father just died and he’s been abused back to back and his only safe space he realized is no longer safe and they have yet to acknowledge any of this. Poor Huey. 😔
JAckles! Since you're a SPN fan, Jensen was rocking a "The Boys Season 4" hat at the latest convention that really had me hyped for his return! And I also saw a clip of Jim Beaver saying there would be more references this season. And I loved the two lane highway shot of Butcher at the end, very much a nod at the end before the best reveal!

He would be keeping that to give to whomever he decided to get engaged to. Even if it was somebody else, 20 years later. That's what I would do anyway. Besides, it hasn't been that long since she gave it to him.
She was going through her own trauma after literally just having been chained up for 10 days. She literally forgave him moments later. It was fine, and actually pretty realistic.
@@Jim_The_Fish the problem is after the scene where she yells at hughie, they never seriously talk about it again or the fact that he was raped. all there is is that stupid STD joke. couldn't the time for that joke have been used for a scene where they really talk about it? when it happens to annie and becca, it's taken seriously, but when it happens to hughie, all we get is him getting yelled at and an STD joke. that's what's really disappointing.
its good they dont bring soldier boy back this season. like alot of other shows would have done. will be good season 5. this season was a bit dry but i hope they take it far last season and also longer episodes
I wasn’t mad about Frenchy and Kamiko in the beginning, but when she made it clear that she didn’t feel it was right for them to be romantic. I was satisfied with the explanation. It was so strange that they just flip-flopped on it last minute out of nowhere like they could’ve built it up with her being a little jealous of Frenchy and Cullen, but she wasn’t. She was pushing him to be with him so IDK. But I don’t think there’s any going back to Cullen honestly, you should not get back in a relationship with someone who killed your family that is over.
I think Kimiko just wanted Frenchie to be happy. I think it shows a deeper love and caring that she was willing to put her happiness aside for his. Kimiko and Frenchie were best friends that fell in love

Or even the others....he's a supe sure, but he thinks all supes are bad, hence being OK with the virus becoming airborne and able to kill all supes...will be interesting next season...im also wanting to learn about what happened to Ashee...
I think it's explained by the first thing he says in that scene (besides "Oi"): "No deals". He killed Victoria because she was a bigger threat than her daughter, and because she was about to make a deal that would make her more involved with the Homelander situation, making her a serious obstacle in his plan to use the Virus. Killing her also made everyone else stand back, since it showed how strong he now is. Edit: To clarify where I was going with that, him killing Neuman wasn't JUST because she's a supe. He spared Zoe for the same reason he spared Starlight: He didn't feel like it/didn't want to risk The Boys refusing to hand over the Virus.
