I have hade those bruises on my feet i would get them in summer time and my toes and top of foot will go purple and black and red and verry dry. It is really painful but after a few days it goes away like a scab.
I have something similar to what you wear but I’d almost call them boots I guess it doesn’t bother me being barefoot in a pool but I wear them in the lake outside our house because you definitely can’t see what’s down there (nothing else lots of shells down there)

Mushrooms are a form of fungus and there are many different types of deadly fungus, but not all fungus are mushrooms although they can mistakenly be called mushrooms. Recently in UK media were reports about a US actress (Denise DuBarry) who contracted Black Fungus (C. auris) and sadly died when she was in hospital being treated for a sinus infection. The fungus is drug resistant and apparently 'colonises' the skin and can get into the blood stream through open wounds. Once it does there is a 30 to 60% mortality rate. The actress' daughter said that the fungus went to her mum's brain and when she saw her, the actress' eyes were portruding from her head, she was swollen with edema and her tongue was swollen out of her face. Terrible, so yes, there are many deadly types of fungus (which can look like mushrooms). xXx
