I felt so bad for the actors. All of them are so talented and deserved a better story that was actually planned out from the beginning.
John Boyega and Kelly Marie Tran in particular got sidelined so bad in the last one.
Daisy seems so real, sweet, and genuine! I bet it would be a blast to meet her in person!!!
I personally really like the sequals and really don‘t care what anyone other says.

She is a great actress, but rey aint a good character, thats not daisys fault tho, the character was poorly written in my opinion just like the movie anakin, hayden did a good job but the script didnt work for him
Bagel with a gun I don’t really agree with Rey being a poorly written character but I do think Anakin was. But Hayden and Daisy both did amazing jobs imo.

@@plsforgetthisacceverexisted what I mean with poorly written I mean the fact that she is so strong out of like an hour of training, anakin was supposed to be the chosen one, the strongest to even exist, he trained for like 8 years (idk how much I dont remember) and yet rey trained like 1-2 hours and she is as strong as anakin, also rey palpatine seemed like a poor excuse jj thought about her being strong, the messege of using rey as the main character was that any can use the force , even a nobody until the rise of skywalker came, the whole sequel trilogy feels like 2 divorced parents that keep argue-ing about who takes the children home, the sequels feel bad, and if the movies feel bad so fo the characters (again I have no problem with the actual actors just the freaking directors)

I had some highs and lows for the Disney Trilogy. If there's anything we've gotten from the 3 movies is that we had a lot of young great likeable actors. Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Issacs, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson. They all did the best they could, what happened that really destroy the trilogy was the lack of planning, a very rushed script and little to no storytelling. I feel very bad for the actors, they all deserved to have better Star Wars movies than these. If we had people who cares about Star Wars and loves it passionately, we wouldn't see the mess it is right now.
I was on board with the Force Awakens, very well made movie. Sadly very similar and has the same plot as A New Hope, yet I can understand why they did go for the safe direction. When The Last Jedi came out, I was hesitantly thinking whether or not it was a great Star Wars, It was very different and took a lot of risks which I can appreciate, but looking back on it, they just really did destroy Luke Skywalkers character and it's a huge mess. Never liked the idea of a Jedi abandoning his friends and family, gives up on the force and leaves himself on a Island to die because he senses a bit of dark side in Kylo Ren. That's dumb because Kylo has done remotely nothing compared to Darth Vader. Luke saves his father who has done horrible acts, yet still believed he can be turned to the good side. Luke won and he ultimately saves the galaxy.
The Rise Of Skywalker has to be the biggest mess and yet has a lot of potential to have been soo much more better. I Love the Kylo Ren/Han Solo moment when he senses him and have a very intimate moment just like in the Force Awakens. I love the idea that Rey all this time was a secret Palpatine, yet of course this wasn't originally planned. They need a reason as to why Rey is soo overpowered with the force and can learn very quickly with no training required. She's a Palpatine genetically, yet she never wanted to personally be one. She was always wanted to be a Skywalker, a legend. Hence the ending, yet it wasn't fully written properly to convey it to the audience. We watched the ending and most of us are like... why you're stealing his name!!! I get that she wanted to change her identity, she never wanted or felt to be a Palpatine. I just think that it was wrong for her to lie just to hide her bloodline. The message was to be proud of who you are, no matter where you came from. Unfortunately Rey didn't realise better. It's just a very disappointing movie. Very messy movie.
I agree although I loved TLJ and TRos. There were plenty of problems with the films. It was the actors who made it for me. I honestly think that the ST might have sunk like a stone had they cast another actress for Rey.
Didnt like the sequels but thaught she was a good actress and disappointing that they didnt give her a character that had good development and struggles.

This sequel trilogy is a disgrace. it destroys Anakin and Luke story + Jar jar Abrams (and Ryan Johnson) shits all over star wars Lore.
How can some people be content with this !? Are they fans ? Do they know star wars ? are they oblivious to logic and consistency ?
i wouldn't have mind having no star wars movies after episode 6 ! rather than this money grab sequel trilogy with no meaning whatsoever ... it felt like Disney was scavenging a corpse while taking its identity it's disgusting.
