He gave his opinions and expresses how he feels about the change, just like any actor would when discussing about the roles they play, but after that he told Rian what he feels he started warned up to the idea. Crusade man I don’t think making movies just to please the fans is the best course of action. How many more Rogue Ones and The Force Awakens type fan service movies can we get? If they just focus on making good movies, people will like them because they are good. It’s that simple.
Even seeing that unfinished Babu Frik puppet being used by those puppeteers made me forget for a second it was a puppet. Sometimes the old ways are the best.
As I watch this, as cool as all this practical stuff is, I'm sad because I say to myself "Why is Mark OBSERVING from the SIDELINES???!!!!!! He should be IN the movie more than a 5 minute cameo!!!
Yeah.... no. He’s a great actor and knows a lot about Star Wars, but he’s not a screenwriter. It would probably be inconsistent and problematic like the Attack of the Clones script.
They destroyed his character because he's a white male. He's complained bitterly about it but still seems to have trouble adding 2+2 when it comes to understanding the politics behind it.

You miss the point of Luke’s character arc then
He was Kenobi in TLJ. A producer said that explicitly. Maybe they failed in the story but that was the intent
