    Seoi nage isn't one of my throws but I really really enjoy watching (and also getting hit by) a good seoi. Such a cool throw. Thanks for the video Travis!

    This is awesome! What I learnt was to step back.. Most of the I'm not stepping back and space me and my partner makes difficult for me to throw.... Thanks again sharing all these technique :)

    Amazing video! Had no idea about stepping back. I've always thought the key is to sit in like on the sofa. It seems judo progresses every day. Thanks for that! A counter would be appreciated as well.

      A counter to a standing Seoi would be transition to newaza or a ura nage pick up move.
