Seoi nage isn't one of my throws but I really really enjoy watching (and also getting hit by) a good seoi. Such a cool throw. Thanks for the video Travis!
This is awesome! What I learnt was to step back.. Most of the I'm not stepping back and space me and my partner makes difficult for me to throw.... Thanks again sharing all these technique :)
Amazing video! Had no idea about stepping back. I've always thought the key is to sit in like on the sofa. It seems judo progresses every day. Thanks for that! A counter would be appreciated as well.

Thanks for all the support Sasaki!
Thanks for the videos!! This sneak peek convinced me to buy your whole set on seoi nages!
Thanks for that Ryan!!! Let me know what you think of the instructional. I would love to get your feed back on it.
Great detail.
Thx Travis. I know just the lefty I'm going to try this on. Lol.
Nice! Let me know how it goes!
Such a satisfying sound on those landings, sometimes less than optimal audio recording is a benefit 😁😁

You're welcome Dave! Those are some key details that not a lot of people show. I'm glad you found them helpful!
Excellent this video..... Also to understand the movements with the head
It's a small detail but it can mean the difference between the throw working or not!
Nice!
Awesome 👍♥️♥️

A counter to a standing Seoi would be transition to newaza or a ura nage pick up move.
