This desperately needs either a commentary or just to be slower and more thorough. What you are doing is good, but it assumes knowledge of the software which someone looking for a basic tutorial won't have. How do you set up snaps, etc?
Hi! I'm having Difficulty with part of this tutorial. Everything works fine until I try to use the ExtrudeCrv command. It keep "inverting" the surfaces i want to extrude. ( thats to best way I can think to explain it. I tried follow your directions at every step but after 3 attempts I keep having the same problem. P.S. this is my very first model ever. If I could send you a screenshot maybe it would be easier to diagnose the problem I'm having.
so in the video when he uses the extrusion command he clicks on "solid=yes" which turns it hollow and reads "solid=no". He made it seem confusing but you want the command line to read "solid=yes" then write your extrusion value which in this case was 3 then click enter and it works!
Usually it happens if the curves are open and not joined as a single unit. Use the Join command and make sure its a closed curve. Then try extruing , you will get the required 3d.
I had this same problem and after a ton of trying to find tutorials for the issue i ended up finding it right in the video. During the Trim process where we remove the insides of the circles i noticed where it says "ExtendCuttingLines=No", mine was auto populating "=Yes", so once i switch it to "No" and THEN went through the Trim process, my extrusion was correct I hope this helps!
when creating the lines and circles, how do i automatically attach lines to other objects, with it snapping to attachment points?
This video explained Rihno in 6 minutes better than my professor in 2 hours
Atleast you got an explanation😭 ehy do we pay school fees?😂

@@Jovanovic915 they mean "noted."
How do you snap?
Background music and speech bubbles? This is precisely how you do NOT make a video tutorial.
