Gold sarc's 3rd effect is a reference to the atem vs yugi duel. Yugi used gold sarc (very different effect from irl) to banish monster reborn face down. When atem tries to use his own monster reborn to revive something and go for game - yugi's gold sarc effect activates, which negates atem's attempt at reviving a monster through monster reborn... leading to yugi winning the duel.
As someone who’s a big fan of Greed Quasar, the card text doesn’t say Silent Swordsman Zero’s level caps at Twelve, meaning his strength can keep growing!
This has 9, NINE, one card combo into a board with Gold Sarcophagus, Gadget, Swordsman, and Marshmallow. It's not a negate board, but also hard to break because all of them has protection/floats. Swordsman protects everyone from targeting, Gadget can float into a trap, Marshmallow protects from attack and also floats. Turn silence and marshmallon actually have a nice combo. Assuming there are no bp negates you can just blank a battle phase by special summoning marsh, and most of the time if the way they get around monsters is by popping doesnt work against marsh
The silent swordsman card is better because it protects everything including itself where the magician only protects the card so just destroy the magical first. I'm looking at this, 3 swordsman zero, 3 Gadgets, 3 or 2 marshmallow, 2 dragons, 1 magician only because the one card that can summon her from the deck which you play that at 3. The other spell at 2 and the trap at 1 or 2 because with 4 on the field that's 4000 attack. I just thought about Slifer the Sky Dragon with silence future.

I think Marshmarshmellon has the potiential to be kinda crazy. You can probably build a burn control deck around it by running max copies of board wipes like Dark Hole and Interrupted Kaiju Slumber. The idea is that at the end of each turn you destroy your own Marshmarshmallon to summon another one and burn for 1000. It can summon another copy of itself from anywhere as long they aren't all banished face-down. Then just run some kaijus and back row to stun your opponent. I’ll be honest, I really wanted Gandora and the Silent LV monsters to be retrained into their own archetypes, but I guess lackluster nostalgia pandering is the best we’re going to get.
Now make a feral imp retrain, a Celtic guardian retrain, and a giant soldier of stone retrain and the OG vibes will be complete😂 make one a trap negate, one a monster effect negate and one a monster searcher. Boom whole archetype done😂 I love nostalgia bait. 🤷♀️
The trap should of special Slifer from the deck and gain it atk for each card that mentions Gold sarcophagus of light. Even that would be better than this effect
She only gets 1 level per instance of drawing; so regardless of how many cards they draw it’s still only 1 level. That effect seems to indicate that this deck may want to run Slifer which seems possible with all the free summons.
This is incorrect the level increase is based on the number of cards drawn. "If your opponent draws a card(s): Increase this card’s Level by the number drawn." So if your opponent draw two it will gain 2 levels.
Your delusional swordsman is good and would see play even without that spell target negation is good Decode talker has seen so much meta play even years after his release

Wonder if they are going to add cards like BLS, gaia, the magician girls, buster blader, and maybe DM to this new archetype but knowing Konami they probably don’t have the brain cells to actually do that 🫤.
Black luster solder and gaia our monster more associated with Yami Yugi/Atem and not Yugi Muto. For the cards Yugi use that you have not mention that Yugi plays that I see is a summon skull, witch of the black forest, curse of dragon. That help this deck to make so the cost of not being able to summon the extra deck is not an issue because of right now this deck is a turn one deck that is very easy stopped as they have no good recovery plans from board wipes and is stop by one cosmic cyclone.
@@darklight9450 yami was the one that used summon skull and curse of dragon not yugi same with winged dragon guardian of the fortress, catapult turtle, feral imp (though you could argue that both used both imp and guardian) heck even celtic guardian and some other cards that I don’t remember. Tbh it's better off if they just stick to the cards that yugi actually use in final duel instead of including cards that weren't part of it like DM or BLS since this entire archetype is a huge callback to that moment. Like if u get both of them out during the battle phase even if they draw 6, they won’t get to use them in theory at least. I do love your breakdowns tho man keep it up🙏
Pot of desires is a MUST in this deck
Could see this as an engine in a gren maju/rank-8 spam deck🤔 desires buffs both
as someone that like gandora... im looking foward to this
I didn’t see a (max 12) on those 2.
I thought legally a monsters level can’t exceed 12, but what do I know🤷🏼♂️
@@JustNutzProd level 12 is a common cap but there is a F.A. Synchro that has no cap
They can gain unlimited levels
Wish they made a dedicated gandora archetype
Won't be able to stop Zeus with that, once it hits damage step a monster has officially battled so Zeus is still live, still good card tho
WOW
The Silent Swordsman not being a blanket monster negate is such a bummer. Would have been like Hanuman and Arvata in Fire Kings.
Love to see it
They printed anime card of sanctity on a different card 😭
It's cute
We can combaine it with the normal marshmallow and Mariks deck
This is the most yugiboomer deck ever
damn, ive always wanted a pure marshmallon archetype, i hate when they combine cards based on anime usage rather than theme
I’ll be honest, I really wanted Gandora and the Silent LV monsters to be retrained into their own archetypes, but I guess lackluster nostalgia pandering is the best we’re going to get.
It’s not very effective, but might be fun for a while.
1:04 DEMONITIZED
YO, NEW SILENT SWORDSMAN & SILENT MAGICIAN?????
Now make a feral imp retrain, a Celtic guardian retrain, and a giant soldier of stone retrain and the OG vibes will be complete😂 make one a trap negate, one a monster effect negate and one a monster searcher. Boom whole archetype done😂 I love nostalgia bait. 🤷♀️
But does it support Marincess?
Is it just me or did I rather have an updated silent magician/swordsman archetype more
The trap should of special Slifer from the deck and gain it atk for each card that mentions Gold sarcophagus of light. Even that would be better than this effect
Silence Towards the Future format when???
Hidden of the fortress is a 1 of
I think unfortunately it’s a none-of for me 💩
@@JustNutzProd fair enough am just wanna get the use out of the monster that summons it
It is the biggest trap monster as it will usually have like 3k-5k. But otherwise yeah, not good.
I wanted yugi support but not these yugi support cards. I have to make a hold new deck. These seem like a clone of the horus cards.
She only gets 1 level per instance of drawing; so regardless of how many cards they draw it’s still only 1 level. That effect seems to indicate that this deck may want to run Slifer which seems possible with all the free summons.
This is incorrect the level increase is based on the number of cards drawn.
"If your opponent draws a card(s): Increase this card’s Level by the number drawn."
So if your opponent draw two it will gain 2 levels.
Damn i can make a burn deck with this cards ez....
Nah this for Slifer easily gets it to 6000 and puts tributes on the board all you need is a slifer retrain to search it
Your delusional swordsman is good and would see play even without that spell target negation is good Decode talker has seen so much meta play even years after his release
Decode talker hasn’t been played in a competitive deck in at least 4 years
Decode Talker??? What galaxy do you reside in? Decode was only alright when it was one of like 5 link monsters and even then it wasnt worth running. And that was what? 6 near 7 years ago?
Swordsman zero should have just negated monster effects damn it 😢
The Silent Monsters don't say Max 12, so shouldnt they go past Level 12 like F.A. do
God dang this deck looks trash it has nothing but a spell negate and maybe the gandora can destroy the field but if that was a big thing we would use regular gandora but it almost does less than nothing you have to wait so long I don't think this deck could be used in Edison it so weird how they give us archetypes with no good end board like why play this deck really?
You can set up a spell negate, a targeting negate, and a monster negate.
@zsmit7648 that is a if you get two to three spell cards which in a 40 card deck is still a big asked this deck expects you to survive multiple turns of set up which isn't a thing I common day yugiho
@@rouge3887 idk, the continuous searches once per turn for any card in your deck, one of the quick plays can negate a hand trap, and the gadget searches on summon as well.
I’m not gonna lie and tell you it’s amazing, but it is really consistent at what it does.
It also doesn’t care about GY at all, so I imagine d shifter and pot of desires have a home in this deck.
@@zsmit7648 yeah but like a lot of newer deck can set up a board that beats it instantly and im talking like the mid deck not top tear stuff
This barely makes sense to me lol
Gotta watch the anime ma boi
Not negates, automatic trash. Skip.
No new BLS Yeah not interested 😑😑😑😑😑😑.
Maybe we get a Gaia the fierce knight or BLS card for this theme down the line as support🤷🏼♂️
Ayo these cards sucks💀
It's a pretty weird deck. Honestly just off the bat it's a worst memento deck
New gandora looks wack. Not badbass and menacing like old one. No, instead looks like bystial or thunder dragons. Super over design.
New Gadget doesn't support old ones.
Throw away level mechanics instead of improving.
I hate modern Yu-Gi-Oh design. So frickin linier and flowchart. Lile don't have to think how to play your own cards. No instead they play you!. This shit actually is lame.
Stopping an effect that destroys the main card or monsters associated with it is a great effect, especially since it increases the level and increases it's attack points. It's not worse than silent magician, it's better since it's not specific to one card type. Seriously your take on these cards is pretty trash.
Wonder if they are going to add cards like BLS, gaia, the magician girls, buster blader, and maybe DM to this new archetype but knowing Konami they probably don’t have the brain cells to actually do that 🫤.
I think they won't because they were Atems cards and not Yugi's in the final duel. Unless I'm remembering wrong.
The cards that yugi used were the silent cards, gadgets, DM and DMG, gandora, the fruit magician girls from DSOD… though I dont remember the cards Yugi used when he didn’t want Yami to help him, but either way I just don’t know why they just don’t combine all the cards that both Yami/Atem and Yugi used into one single super cool boomer pile deck with all your favorite cards that is as consistent as a dragon link pile deck. THAT is something Konami is hard sleeping on.
Tbh it's better off if they just stick to the cards that yugi actually use in final duel instead of including cards that weren't part of it like DM or BLS since this entire archetype is a huge callback to that moment. Buster blader, summoned skull, magnet warrior etc get a pass since it's a part of his deck.
I think the Toy monsters would be the easiest way to expand this strategy while sticking to the theme, since Yugi used those during this arc.
Okay.. so I am still waiting for ma'at support cards
☺️😊😓😅
