Which I love both singers and any song from both of their eras are amazing. Which I liked the original singer also (I can’t remember his name right now) but not as much as Angela or Alyssa
Alyssa was the first woman I ever heard who could scream like this. I don't know what I was doing before 2014 when their War Eternal album was released by Arch Enemy but I was totally blown away when I first saw their videos from that album. As for live stuff, they have some great videos from Wacken 2016. Nemesis and War Eternal are some of my favorites.

I was already listening to Arch Enemy before when Angela Gossow was their signer. The transition as quite signifiquant and the sound changed a little but it's still quite good IMO. In Arch Enemy, the guitars provide melody. Not the vocals. It's unique. The vocals are 99.99% heavier than the guitars, which is very interesting. It's good music to exercise to because it gives you more power. 😆 To get a better taste of their live shows I definitely recommend "The Watcher" or "Nemesis live at Wacken 2016". I would definitely not recommend Handshake with Hell because it's not a good representation of their sound. It's a one off, kind of like Disturbed - Sound of Silence.

I like a few of their albums with their second singer Angela, and a couple with their third singer Alissa (ex The Agonist). They're one of the first Melodic Death Metal bands that came out in the mid 90's.
