This thing works no joke. I bought stock OME Toyota transmitters. For a 2010 Tacoma install them in my tires and use this thing in about five or 10 minutes. I’m done it’s no joke it really is good piece of equipment. And will work on almost any kind of car!
Good video with clear explanation and demonstration of the tool! I have Mitsubishi Outlander 2020 and decided to get the 'ATEQ Quickset X' after watching your video
@@robingrosset6941 Dear Robin I have winter tyres for a land cruiser, my toyota garage tried to charge me £400 to fit , with the excuse that each tyre had to be removed to read sensor number. That is not the case as you have shown. My question is that when I put the summer tyres back on the vehicle in the spring will I need to do all the coding again ?
I have the same one I use it on my 2019 subaru wrx sti and two other cars. works great best investment I ever maid and saves me money otherwise dealership or mechanic shops charger about $80 to $100 bucks to reset ✌️🤘
My Dealer tried to charge me over £400 plus to do the tire swap from summer to winter claiming he had to remove the tyres to read the id number. As I was not born at Christmas , I changed my dealer, and also bought a Quickset X tool. Best investment I have made for the car.
When you transferred the collected info via the OBD port you failed to press that button.(RED BACKGROUND) So how did it manage to transfer? It did you could see it , but how?
I bought the TPMS sensors pre-installed from TireRack. On the invoice it says "315MHZ TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR" so I don't know the brand. I hope this helps.
So the dealership charges something in that range per tire, it has to be booked in and there is a minimal amount they will charge. Also the inconvenience of going there across town for them to reprogram the tires. I change tires twice a year so it does pay for itself pretty quickly.
Watched your video a few times and their instruction are a bit vague for relearn. Do all the wheels and then press relearn . The relearn button is a grey colour and should be red before you can transfer to car. No obvious route. I saw you click the left and right keys until the relearn button turned red. Nothing in the instructions? Worked for me eventually after I wasted lots of time. Also my car has 5 wheels . I only changed four summer/ winter. Even if you only change 4 you still need to read the filth wheel . Stupid system on toyota as you dont really need to have the spare on tpms . Anyhow thanks for the video!

When it comes to getting a TPMS relearn tool, such as the Ateq Quickset X, you made the right choice.
Thanks!

I hope they can update this tool for the new WRX 2022. So far, I can only see up to the WRX 2021.
Thanks for the demo.
Is it workings for Hyundai Venue 2022 with IntelliSens TPMS sensors already installed?

what brand of censors did you use! or can it program all brands? There is so many brands

Hmmm.
So you say that to buy this device for $200+ is a deal,
than to pay a tire shop do it for $20.?

Easily worth the price. Drive to shop…during their business hours…wait around…pay $80-100….repeat a couple of times each year…
if you have two vehicles it is paid for within the first year.
