So I suspect that Reynolds is used to getting whatever he wants, and God knows Lively taking over the film indicates gross entitlement. They probably thought Baldoni couldn't afford to fight back. But one of Baldoni's partners in Wayfarer is a billionaire, and Wayfarer is also named in Lively's suit. So they picked on the wrong people to challenge. Not to mention, Baldoni's got receipts and Lively only has unproved accusations. This video, like the NYT article, leaves out some facts that are crucial for context, so it doesn't nearly portray the situation correctly. Really bad job, thumbs down.

You failed to mention that Blake and her husband basically stopped Justin (who bought the rights and directed the movie) from attending the premiere with all the cast ,editors and producers. You failed to mention all the receipts that Justin released as a counter to Blake’s suit. You failed to mention that Justin’s lawyer has advised that they are going to sue her. You also failed to really look deep As to why Justin is suing the NYT. He knows he probably won’t win.. but what he will get is all the information from them that he can use to make his case against Blake Lively and that is Gold. Justin will not sell the rights back to the author. That is what Blake wants so that she and Ryan can buy the rights. Justin Baldoni may not be a saint, but he did not deserve the treatment that was placed his way by Blake Lively and her husband and also Sony . Blake lively took charge of this movie that was not hers to take charge of and everybody in the industry knows it. They may not come out and say it out loud but they know it and that is why her reputation is in the toilet..The best thing for her to do is to apologise not just to justin but to the industry and the fans. That's a good question, but it is answered in her complaint. The complaint states that while they did correct their behaviors, Baldoni's side later *retaliated* against her speaking out by launching a pr smear campaign against her. (Part of the reasoning behind the alleged smear campaign is also that by tarnishing her reputation, it would make it harder to believe her if she ever did bring the misconduct to the public.) I hope that helped clarify that point of confusion for you!

Him releasing these text to imply that she is a bully only proves Blake's case, and her team is holding key evidence of Justin's plans to gain pity & push his agenda. Remember, he was a nobody. Blake's side has been professional leaving it to the authorities and still completing the movie, while Justin made sure to be recorded whining over a basement he 'alleged' was ordered by Blake and sugar coating his editors as a good guy.
